The Falcon can be a messy brawler. Packing Thunders, it works in synergy with Gusts Mercury and any other brawler set up out there. This is quite punishing for those who don't know what they're doing, which is also the hallmark style of the new breed of bots we are seeing. It goes with the recent trend of smaller bots that goes for mobility and offense, which are pretty much Post-Inquisitor. It also reinforces another trend of creep and ambush. The other trend I also feel is the continuing obsolescence of the Griffin, probably the game's last great F2P robot. I sense the time might be ripe, and heading towards the great Griffin revamp, not just a remodel, but a collective revamp of the classics to make them more competitive.

that bot is using magic. it reduces all damage from all weapon types by 66(sixty six)% without any scientific justification. soon there will be imolation, health regen, life steal, and all sorts on magic.

I find the falcon to be pretty balanced, when in normal mode it's like a shielded schutze, but when it goes to the 3 weapons mode, it becomes a glass cannon.
IF! IF IF IF Pixonic KEEPS IT THE WAY IT IS, then this will be one of the first balanced bots released in a long time.

I think falcon with ember will be strong set up, just use 1 ember only and burn everyone to crisp.

I played with the new bot all weekend. To me the Falcon's 「dookie」 on a stick and about as useful. I hunted them down with RDB Griffens. Even busted them up with a Pinata/Stalker with ease. As soon as it took flight I went stealthy and wasted it. When 66% of your weaponry is incapable of being used all it amounts to is a slightly better armored Schutze. Load up your Gepards, they're giving us a fat juicy turkey to shoot.
Flux is nothing but a big Gekko that snipers will get a hard on for. It was a waste of beta time.

I think the Flux will spell the end of the Sith Patton as people start maxing and mk2 maxing their Fluxes and slap them on a Natasha. As for the Falcon, I wonder if Pix's intent for it is a platform for the rumoured upcoming heavy Orkan? That would be an interesting build.

Nah. Russians use something superior. It gives Russian --- err I mean Motherland's --- tanks superior characteristics over Western imperialist tanks. This remind me of

Finally, from the last test server, Falcon meets Carrier. And three new bots in a hanger.

The flux will be used on a fury to decimate at 1100m Falcon will be gimicky and will not define a new meta (which is fine, just saying it won't replace the tried, tested and true bots) They need to release more shielded bots a long range huge gekko... sounds excruciating...

Behold a new robot and a new weapon. The new robot is truly a blast to play though not overpowered and its somewhat quirky. I don't like it. The long cooldown of the ability kinda asks players "please, put Trebuchets on me". Long cooldowns favor weapons with long reloading times, and there are only a handful of them in the game. And against Dash bots, the jump is not the best way to close in so melee weapons will not work well on that bot.

While I know that this robot reduces damage taken by 66% when not in assault mode, what I want to know is, if a player equips an anclie on the middle slot, which the robot uses when not in assault mode, does the ancile take 66% less damage as well, or does it take regular damage as it is not a part of the robot? If the latter proves to be true, this will quickly become to be much to overpowered for the game. However, if this is not so, the bot will be welcome into the game by many pilots as still a powerful and formidable but a fair and counterable bot.
