I personally start with $1 to $2 to buy item for league. I follow the guide on how to spent. This guide help me insure me to make my budget and safe money from wasting. A lot of players spend only $1-2 a month. There's even a 500 club here on the forum (folks who wait until they qualify for the 500 free gold bonus task before making a purchase). Personally I am now budgeting $5 a month for a couple 99¢ gold deals and a 10-day premium deal for $2.99. IMO those are the top bargain values in the game. Anyway, welcome to the forum! Glad to have you join!

I spent a little bit in the past when I was foolish thinking I could be slightly on par for my league. But no more. Play for fun, Not for rank. 500 club forever. ?

My answer is No, I stopped playing regularly due to trying better overall games and wanted to stop wasting money.
My playtime is way down, for the most part its just looking at the cool aesthetics and occasional game here or there, I'm not going to be going after any new toys, let alone buying them. I'm not protesting, it's just dumb to keep pouring money into a game that wouldnt even cost 60 dollars if it were a full price game, add on the fact I'm mostly playing other games.

Call me a whale, but I paid for VIP, AND the last event (got me a stack of resources, as well as the Ardent Blitz/Pilot)
Not about to shell out for this event though. Don't really need any more crappy gusts.

I used to be f2p back in college and only bought the $1 gold deals which I funded via google survey rewards. Now that I got a job, I spend to get the latest bots because I don't want to wait for months for it to be released into workshop and then wait again to build it. Upgrading the bot and weapon is on me though. I grind out the resources for that.

I personally start with $1 to $2 to buy item for league. I follow the guide on how to spent. This guide help me insure me to make my budget and safe money from wasting. welcome too the Forum! yeah i spend. mostly Premium, AU deals, and the OP pass. this OP Pass i might not get depending on what the final level i get, if i get at least lvl34 i'll buy it(i'll sell the Ardent Gust as i already have quite a few LvL 10 an 11 Gust already) i used to spend on Tokens for Events, but its been Event Overdrive lately and i have things i'am upgrading still from Past Events. for me the Best deals are 1. Premium: the AU an Honor Bonus is nice (they really need to include a Au or Ag discount for upgrading Gear) 2. Operation Pass: for all the Ag, Au, Gear (Bots,Weapons,Skins), Pilots , an PT if purchased Separately even when on Sale your looking at at least $35+ and that is without what Platinum Cost. so this is a good buy 3. AU specials: depending on if you hit the 200AU or 500AU bonus Spend any amount task and 99¢ AU specials , you could get up to 1500-2000AU for as little $2-$3usd 4. Bot or Weapons Deals: sometimes they go on Sale for as little as $5 usd. right now i'am waiting for the Stings to show up again for Sale Since i wanna run a Ao Quin with 4 stings. if Wasps go on Sale i'll buy 1 since i have one already but really hate running certain weapons unless their in pairs. For Me these are the only things i'll buy these days as the AG, Tokens, or Key(I always win PC and i don't need More) deals are really not worth it "to me". i really don't mind spending on this game as i still enjoy playing even when Getting Beat Down by MKII Maxed Players.

Yes and No I spent a medium amount of money on my IOS 2 War robot account . Say an overall of pfff 80 bucks ? Then War Robots upgraded its graphics and well my old IOS could not handle the pressure So far my current steam account has been free . I am just enjoying the ride . Today i pulled an ivory scourge out of the gambling box . My mooch account has probably better quality bots and weapons than my old money account .

I don't think ~$2 a month even counts, and I hadn't bought .99 gold in what felt like a year.

Tread easy here all we have a new COC since this thread was started and a few post on here are borderline. Dont take the bait. But the post is fine. Threads like these are what many new people will look up when they join the forum. I think a lot of people join when they start to encounter major issues at the big transition points (like moving up a league, especially to Masters). They're more likely to use the search function and to do searches on specific topics including spending strategies, matchmaking, and squads. If this was a necro on how to use Tarans, no one would mind and it would seem natural that someone was just adding in their 2¢ on the topic. I feel like this is the inherent problem with the new COC is that the whole rants classification part is very insidery and can be used to easily against newcomers, which creates a feeling if exclusion. I mean someone just joined, this is their very first post, it is not only innocuous but trying to be helpful with an article link and instead of a welcome there is a pseudo-warning. I feel like I'm seeing more new members get treated like trolls right out of the gate because newer players care about (and are more frustrated with) topics that older members have long since moved past. Outside of blatant and egregious trolling, it seems like it's be better to let folks hang for a while instead if instantly hitting them with COC-stuff. And members who just joined are also unlikely to even know that the acronym COC stands for. 1 I dont speak for others you might think on that. 2 It wasnt directed at him but anyone else whom might see this thread revived as a few comments above were pushing the boundary. 3 I already know you dont like the new COC having your opinion is great I can accept that. Just pointing out where I am coming from.

Used to spend 50 or so a month for 2+ years. Now zero. Value is not there. Look at the latest ops. A joke.

I do not spend real cash, but I do earn Google credit doing surveys. I take the credit to buy stuff....so I do not know how to answer the poll.

Just pointing out where I am coming from. Fair enough. And sorry if I seemed lecture-y, I'm just long-winded. Sadly, it's an incurable condition :-( I didn't think I'd actually commented on the new CoC yet. I am actually pretty ok with it. The whole "comment only in Rants" thing seems a bit clunky, but if it works out then great. Mainly I just feel it's good to give new folks some time to settle in. Like I said, newer members are likely to be interested in the topics that are most prone to becoming rants, but that doesn't mean they will (this one didn't). And if they do, then it's just a little re-classifying and/or locking the thread. I just don't think we need to be overly quick with warnings. Things can get more brittle when we rush it, but over time people adjust. OK that probably also sounded lecture-y. Sorry, just my 2¢.

I spend here and there, mostly just premium or the pass if I do
I’m not running premium right now, I suspect I’ll pick it up when a deal drops. I might buy the latest pass for the platinum, but I’m not sure.

All good and as soon as I posted I thought I was a little harsh or off on #1 and felt bad myself. As for the COC I probably got you mixed up with someone else and my old brain froze just ignore senile people. Peace out.

Outside of blatant and egregious trolling, it seems like it's be better to let folks hang for a while instead if instantly hitting them with COC-stuff. And members who just joined are also unlikely to even know that the acronym COC stands for. You bring up a good point about how the CoC affects newcomers. Ultimately, the mod staff wants new people to come and join the discussion. We try to be very lenient with how our newbies are treated on here as they don't usually understand how things work. As you mentioned, they will often times come on the server looking for answers to specific issues and fail to notice the rules we try to adhere to. It's only fair to them and everyone for us to point out how we operate so they have the chance to abide by those rules so they don't run afoul of them. It also helps to adjust them to what type of site this is. If they happen to be looking for something other than what they found here, it's better for everyone if they go elsewhere to find it, especially if that goal is just to vent about the game. We have a place for that here, but it's not the purpose of the site. Also, one thing is worth noting about newcomers (or those that seem like newbies). There are persons that have been banned previously that, for whatever reason, try to sockpuppet their way back on the site by registering again with another name. Biancabashbots was a cleverly orchestrated sockpuppet for the previously banned bonecollector and there have been many others. Phantom00 is another that comes to mind. It's instances like this that have made us a bit wary of any new folk that join and instantly start bashing/venting/ranting and so we do monitor these things. The general membership doesn't see this, but it does happen and sometimes these unwelcome folk make it through our initial screening. We are on the look out for these types.

Up to $75 throughout my entire 2+ years of playing. I only use it on stuff like the ops pass and super cheap deals (like the rayker I got for <$7 a while ago).

I used to get premium and full operation passes, then Pix nerfed the already expensive energy shotguns and I was pissed so I stopped spending money on that. Then Pix reduced the operations down to 40 levels and kept them the same price because Pt is included in the awards, big whoop so I'm still not spending.
Then I got banned from the sub-reddit(while not violating any rules) for criticizing the broken targeting system in this game which Pix has been sleeping on because I know I'm not the only one who hates it. So that pissed me off enough to stop spending as well.
This Yan-Di Showdown I put money aside because I WANT that Leech parasite skin and was prepared to drop coin just to roll that badboy. I waited a whole year for that skin to be available again and now? It isn't included in the prizes, and Pixo support said it just isn't available anymore. So I'm not spending a dime on this event.
Now on top of that, I have a task for 60 Au to add a skill to my pilots, my hangar layout even has an annoying crosshair over my bots telling me to level up my pilots. All my pilots are level 50 and one is level 70, spend 5000 Au to get 60 back and get rid of the stupid notification that is constant? Yeah nah, 「fluffernutter」 you, Pix.

Never spent anything. Although I feel I'm doing my part to help the game by giving 5 easy targets per battle to those who do spend
