Hi all,
I've been lurking here for a while, gleaning tips and info, listening to rants and hanger suggestions and decided I should finally say hello.
As the title says, the top couple layers of my nail peeled away at the edge, and the thinner tip developed a kink and I now have a handy bezel on the end of my thumb nail which allows me to press really hard into my phone screen when I'm desperately trying to get to cover and my bot is moving excruciatingly slowly.
I've been playing for a few months now and have found myself in Diamond 1 on android. I seem to have raced through Gold and Diamond too fast to take in the scenery, caused, I suspect by the Halloween, Christmas, and Lunar Events. Now I seem to be floating in place which isn't too bad considering the supply drops have nearly completed my kumiho.
Now I might just play enough to get my daily gold and collect supply drops and check out bargain WSP deals, but you never know.
I'll have to rethink my hangar (like I'm not always doing this) when I get my first dash bot (kumiho) and start piloting it, and no doubt I'll be seeking your advice.
I already have lots of questions, but they're probably better saved for more specific threads.

Welcome! My left thumb is at a point where the tip is bruised and it's painful to play for long! Yes I forgot to mention the pain. Mine gets bad enough that I installed MeMu android emulator on my PC and play on that when I can. However I've since developed trigger finger so you just can't win (even if you pay

I sounds crazy but I had to teach myself not to press so hard n my phone I thought the glass was going to break, and now I put coconut oil on my thumbs when they get sore.
Jesus, I need to take a step back!

Please, please, please for your own sake pay attention to your own body when you're playing a game. You tense up as action intensifies, but your brain can get so focused that you aren't aware of what you're doing mid-combat. If you're mindful of tension, you can incrementally get your hands to relax to a point where it's appropriate (and not causing as much strain). War Robots is not a fast enough game to hurt your hands over.
