Galahad is the most well rounded jack of all trades bot out there. If you have 5th slot I would say you won't regret it. Ever. Galahad is great all the way to Max.

I was not disappointed with galahad. He can cap beacons well, he allows you more freedom to fight on the move than with a Rhino, he can outrun rockets after level 8-9 with shield down, can win 1v1 matchups against *almost* anything with shield up.
Be patient. He is a little fragile until level 5 or so. But very intuitive to drive, and he gets better and better the more you play him.

Definitely have 1 in your inventory. However, that said, I am a very strong proponent of building a hanger with the most health that puts the most weapons on the field. Galahad doesn't allow you to do this and from what I've seen from hangers of top tier guys that have pretty high damage, most don't have Galahad. This is strictly anecdotal.
However, there is more to the game than just straight damage.

I got one. Then another.
I was talked out of getting a third.
Once I have 1 more orkan, 1 more aphid (or maybe 3) and possibly an ancile I will probably get that third Galahad.

I've been thinking about that the last few days. What would the hanger look like (no replica bots allowed)

I dunno about this theory though - speed and shields count for something too.

Galahad is good, but it is free damage for midrange

Is it worth $20? That is up to you. It is a good bot to have as you can tell by most of the favorable responses, but I would ask you these questions: 1. Are you pretty happy with the game now with the new MM? 2. Do you have weps to put on the gala? Ork and aphid or taran magnums? 3. Are you pretty proficient in the game now and can drive your current bots? 4. Are you ok with putting that gala back in the inventory and being out $20 if you don't like it?
If yes to all 4, then go right ahead. If not, two suggestions: 1) grind out the gold so you're not out the $20 or 2) sign up for the test server and take the gala out for a test drive there before you buy. Getting a gala is a nice addition to a line up but it is not a miracle worker.
Cheers!

Pros, shield and speed. Cons, Lower hit points and raw firepower.
In my humble opinion, a great all around bot. I play in gold and I have two. Galahad is my starting bot in all maps except Dead City. Conserve your shiled, have room ro backpedal against rockets and you will kill heavies left and right.

Love my Galahads (2)
Quite formidable going solo, but if there's another one in my team, I always travel with them so I can flank the enemy as they target Gal1, pretty sweet...

I have one each on iOS and Android. They work well for what I use them for.

Definitely make sure that you have weapons to arm the galahad before buying one. Galahads don't have a lot of hardpoints, so having the right armament is a must. Bullet gun and mid range rocket wielding galahads are the laughingstock of upper level play; don't be like those guys. Galahads are your best investment after the fifth slot and possibly Orkans, and you won't regret buying one. If you don't want to spend real money, it takes around a month of casual play to get enough gold for one.

Galahad's weapons are all on the right side so it's great for corner shooting.

In solo games, the Galahad is the best second/third bot beacon capper, meaning you take it out as your second or third bot once the enemy has spread out a bit (if you take it first you'll probably end up facing two or three enemy bots at the same time immediately and you are dead) and you use it specifically to cap beacons doing damage to targets of opportunities. An armored destrier, if you wish.
In clan games, it depends on clan strategy.
20$ seems an astounding amount of money for a virtual bot, but then again, I'm almost a full free-player so my views might be biased here.

I still like the Gareth better. I have this habit that I always have shield up since in Gareth you can outrun orks like a galahad shields down.

im planning to buy galahad using $20. (is this the right cost?) anyways, can u guys tell me pros and cons of galahad? You should spend coins on Silver chests(100c) before you dedicate your financials to the game. A lot of people will contradict me. Galahad is a 12/2 bot. Period.

It's not unreasonable to think that he could win enough gold by lottery to buy a Galahad (or make getting it in game a quick matter) or win a Galahad outright. I'm actually in need of a third zeus and I'm there goldwise, but postponing until after the event... I'd hate to have a fourth Also, what is a 12/2 bot?

Given cost no object and current meta of the OP-ness of Ancilot, seems to me 4 Ancilots and a Fury would be a place to start, then massage per your style and funding constraints. However, I wouldn't play 4 Lances regularly unless I only played small maps. The slowness of 4 Lances would make me go insane.
I do like the idea of 2 galahads, plasma and db each, but the lack of durability worries me on the big maps. Tridents just maul galahad.

I agree on larger maps Galahad is not good and gets wrecked by Tridents. However I've found since the shield nerf to the Lancelot my plasma Galahad has no trouble killing the Ancelot and walking away 9 out of 10 times with my shield still very much there. Also against a plasma Ancelot my ork/pinata Galahad can simply run inside the shield and still kill it. (Lvl 9 Galahads with lvl 10 weapons)

Lol. 12/2 is 6. Or a typo of 12/12. Your choice
