G-Force hands down, best anime ever. Lol. Loved that show as a kid. Can't remember what the correct American series title was though. It escapes me.

I believe it was the very lame name, Battle of the Planets. I used to tape-record TV theme songs, and the announcer reading that stupid title in a deep echoey voice still rings around in my head.

Oh right, forgot to put in Starship Troopers(the novel). Oh yes, fantastic. Also, since we are talking novels... The one that got me into Military Sci-Fi... "In Fury Born" - David Weber It's an outstanding read... Grunt life, Spec Ops in a Battle Suit life, and Rouge Spacecraft Vigilantism. First David Weber book, period. I love his Honor Harrington series, and the satellite books set in parallel with the story. Some of the later books get pretty wordy, but for me, that is fine... I like all the extra detail. And most of everything else he has written lol. *** HIGHLY RECOMMEND ***Armor - John Steakly (some similarities with Starship Troopers, but... different. With a twist  ) The Wheel of Time - Robert Jordan The Stormlight Archives - Brandon Sanderson The Game of Thrones (The books and the show) - Ole Georgie TWD Jericho (TV Series that was prematurely ended  ) Cowboy Bebop Archer Vexille AppleSeed Batteltech Books. All of them. More as well but I am at work... |
