Awesome! Kinda thought they'd wait til easter, but I'll take it, I need so much silver it isn't funny. Hopefully they made made the superchest progress bar linear, altho I doubt it, they don't do it for upgrades, so I doubt they will for this. And hopefully they didn't alter the logout trick for better loot.

How do these things work? I've not gone through one yet. Well, you open your wallet and piggy bank and pour it into Pixo's coffers....that is about how it works. J/k The event opens on the 27th.....at that time, for the matches you compete in, you get an additional reward both winning and losing squads in matches: - 5 coins for top damage, 4 for 2nd, 3 for third and everyone else gets 2 - You have to complete the match to get them - The coins are good for chests (10 coins per chest) that you open for prizes (gold, silver, weps, bots)....every chest you open goes towards a super chest where you can get a guarenteed gold item - You can buy coins and exchange them for the new Wild West Bots or chests All of this is in the Pixo info release on their FB page One trick that was learned last time, open the chest 1 at a time and do a battle or leave the app in between....you get at a minimum 15 gold or 50k silver. If you don't you are more likely to get single digit gold and low silver prizes. Uncertain if that is going to be true for this event. I also thought I read Pixo was giving everyone 100 coins at the start....may have to go back and reread that. Four cautions: 1. It takes a huge number of coins to get a Wild West bot 2. 3. The focus on damage for coins means some players ignore beacons even more than now and just try to inflict as much damage as possible. 4. The more you play, the more coins you get....but if you think you can play enough to get the WW bot, you should sleep 24 hours now because you have to pretty much play continuously for days |

I'm looking forward to this event, but I won't spend a penny on it. The game is going in a direction where I can't see it worth investing in the anything long term.
I'll take the free stuff, but honestly, this game is getting stale and the battles going to stand off distances will just make the game less stimulating.

I'm looking forward to this event, but I won't spend a penny on it. The game is going in a direction where I can't see it worth investing in the anything long term. I'll take the free stuff, but honestly, this game is getting stale and the battles going to stand off distances will just make the game less stimulating. Wow - I agree with Team Alpha Strike for once. Waiting to see which direction Pixonic will take the game before deciding whether to put more resources into it. I'm looking to see more maps, less camper buffs, more reasonable prices on new robots, clan spots and paint jobs. I have zero interest in the lame slot machine rippoff. I want to battle robots not collect coins, snowflakes, pumpkins, hearts or Easter eggs. Although Easter egg hunt in real life might be fun. |

Do other people have the icon counting down to this? Me and my friend both play Android I showed him the game yesterday and his has a button counting down. Mine doesn't. Just wondering if this was because he was new or if somehow my game is glitched.

From January 27th you'll start getting special Coins - event currency that you can exchange for chests. ? How to get Coins? When the event starts you'll receive 100 Coins. Coins are distributed among all players after each battle. Depending on your position you'll get a certain amount of Coins. And once again there's no penalty for losing — everyone'll get some! 1st place — 5 Coins 2nd place — 4 Coins 3rd place — 3 Coins 4, 5, 6th place — 2 Coins ? What to do with Coins? You can exchange Coins for chests with prizes. You can open any of the three chest types: each type has a different set of possible items. Having many Coins collected just tap "Open N chests" to open up to 50 chests at once. ? Bronze chest:

As far as I see, the biggest change is the appearance of Silver and Gold Chest, both of which seems to be better investment than the normal 10-event-currency chest.

I had an observation that opening more chests in a single batch was granting better prizes than opening them as it goes.
Now in case I get to e.g. 900 points, I'm wondering whether it would be better to for 90 bronze or 9 silver...ideas?

so any1 opened 3 gold chest? Opened 7. Worth buying with RM only if you're very lucky - I was, but just barely. 3 x around 600-650 AU, 1 Gekko, 1 Aphid, 1 Gepard, 1 Fury. It's worth it if you get lucky but the chances are really stacked against you. On the other hand, if you intend to save for it and not buy coins it's definitely worth it more than the others because the silver (100 coin) chest seems to mostly contain just that.... Silver. Very rarely there's a high gold payout (like 500). Bronze chests are mostly still all about weapons, at least in my experience. |

It's a pain if you have a lot of chests to open, but like someone else pointed out above it increases your chances of getting decent rewards. The last event especially it seems Pix coded the event to give a reasonable reward to lure you in and then if you keep opening then you'd get a wide range of especially crappy ones (1 gold, 5,000 silver, etc). As for whether or not it's better to open multiple small chests or one big, I'd hold off on opening any for the time being until there are some good reports if what players have been receiving.
Oh, and since this is my first post on the forum Greetings all! Longtime lurker, first time poster. I appreciate all the information I've learned from you guys over the last couple months, especially about bot setups, weapon effectiveness, and so on.

From the last event, when the match ended before 2 min, flakes were not awarded to either team....crack 2 minutes and everyone got flakes. Don't know if 3 is now the magic number but if you play a normal match, you'll get coins. |
