I have been playing this game for about 6 months now. The last four weeks match making has so bad it has made me not really want to play the game. Pix keeps saying They are fixing match making. Bull「dookie」. Every match I play the opposing team is either a full clan with maxed bots with 5 slots. My side are players with same level i run level 8 and 9 with 9 and 10 weapons. I am lucky to get players that have 4 slots open. Everyone complains ago It seal clubbers in silver. What about the the same friggen thing going on in gold. The only difference is that pix is creating this vs the players. This by by far the worse match making in any game. What amazes me is that pix is just ignoring the problem with match making. I know they keep saying that is going to be fixed but they put more effort into cosmetic changes vs unsrewing mm. Hope yall enjoy your pix created seal clubbing in gold.

A couple things:
First, the majority of real seal clubbing occurs in bronze not silver. Silver is a whole different ball game than bronze. The true seal clubbing setups are mostly outclassed in silver.
Second, I think most here have had their share of MM difficulties, even the experienced players who have grinded through it over a year or two. I would say that it's fairly common that if you're running 8/9/10 weapons on 6/7/8 bots then you're going to see a lot of gold tier players, and some maxed ones. It's not seal clubbing if maxed players are destroying you and your level 9 or 10 weapons. It's not that big of a difference. Yes, level 6 or 7 heavies should not be put up against maxed hangars, and maybe Pixonic will actually improve the situation. But it's probably doing the best it can when player population up in the highest tiers is probably lower than the players in the silver/gold area where there is a huge mix.
We have the tools to maximize our competitiveness in a given difficulty all throughout this game. The information is there to put you on the path toward feeling you're getting enjoyment out of this game and not wasting your time. That standard is different for everyone of course. Do what you must with your entertainment time allotment. I simply urge you to not give up if things aren't going your way all the time.
Can I ask for a screenshot of your gold hangar? It's possible the community here can help you get more out of the game than you are presently getting, regardless of MM.

No problems with MM here at all. And I am in gold tier, just hit 90% win rate.

While resource gathering in tier 2 tonight, in two separate matches just minutes apart I saw Gold tier bots. Once on the other team (6/10, yes 10 Leo) and once (9/7 plasma Galahad) on mine.
Something is quite wrong there.

I don't think "squash" is in silver, L8W9 on heavies or WSP mediums is too high for silver. Squash - can you post your hanger? I'm facing the same issue, in moving from silver to gold, my stats went from Kills/Damage/Wins - silver 4.5 / 425,000 / 80% to gold 3.2 / 365,000 / 56% . Some of this is down to tactics, and some down to MM. Tactics are totally different in Gold, I was being far to aggressive and the skill of good players in Gold is a different level. But the MM seems to need to throw together players in battle, probably as the player population is very small? I really don't like clans, but you may need to Platoon to get the right team. Quite a few on this forum can help with that. Does this look familiar, very difficult to win with a couple of 3- mech hangers in your team?  |

A mm loophole has already been confirmed where you can bring a maxed bot into the lower tiers. I won't go into the details of it. Anybody who does so may suffer a temporary ban for posting an exploit of the game.
