(Can't seem to download it - I receive the message that I need to update - it takes me to the app store and says the app is already open... weird)

I had no trouble with iOS update. If it still isn't working try restarting or uninstall / reinstall. (I hope you have your progress linked to FB or GC)

Oh man, it's about time
I've been addicted to Final Fantasy Exvius and haven't logged in even half the days this week.
I have 4k Au, and if I was playing this past couple weeks I'd be rolling in Lancelot right now...
Anyhoo, let's fire up a match and see what mag ancile leo can do. Oh, and my Hydra Fujin went through a huge buff as well (many huge buffs lol)

Ok - I don't want to derail this thread but what do I need to do if I cannot update? I am told I need to update but the app store only says "OPEN" not "GET" - I am not backed up via facebook (didn't know you could do that...)
I might be at the end of the road folks!
I loved this game but I won't be starting over...

Ok, If anybody had actually gone to the App Store before updating and read the description on the left. It states update date as Dec 21 and the Christmas event, nothing about lunar new year or that it is 2.5.
Pixonic and apple, or either one has had a major fubar.
Just my guess. It dropped last night a little before 4 am est USA.
I haven't tried to install and won't until pix or apple deliver some kind of news.
Which means I am just not playing the game now

The update installed just fine on my iPhone 6+ and iPad mini 4. Based on other threads, I was expecting to see a change to how Pinatas and CRV Pins reloaded (similar to Orkans), but I guess that was nixed based on the release notes. I'm not butt hurt by it, just an observation.

The new Orkan/Pinata and Tulumbas/CRV Pin firing mechanic will have to be tested out first on the the test server before they can release it onto live servers. |

Sorry for the delay, phone ringing, dog barking, some guy at the door trying, I don't know what. I did the oldest trick in the book. Sand App Store displayed it correctly. So reboots for all like Frederick and me. And anyone else with a brain fart. Might just go back to bed and try to start day over. It's gonna be one of those days. Update spotted in the wild and captured on an iPad Pro.
ProTechSupport here, the screen shot is showing the previous version's info, but still has an "Update" button showing. Your App Store is confused, likely a corrupt cache or some obscure crap like that.
Worst case, uninstall the app and reboot and check the store again, but realize you are deleting your "save game" along the way.
You can tie your local account progress to a Facebook account for a "cloud save" function. If you don't have a FB account, write down all your account information, including your Pilot ID, your Pilot name (including fancy characters if you used them), and your overall stats. Pixonic's support has been known to assist with account recovery in case of disaster but you gotta prove it.
Anytime your mobile devices start acting up, please reboot. #1 fix for screwball behavior.

another thing, if you haven't restarted your phone in over a week, it needs a reboot

Is turned off every night. And turned on the next morning. I was talking about my land line ringing. The only game I can play with my phone is hide and seek. |

ProTechSupport tip: Customers often balk if you mistakenly describe their tablet as a phone or vice versa, hence why I try to stick with 'mobile device' when giving out generic tech advice.

Just played my first set of matches with 2.5:
1. Gareth is a speed demon - dang that thing is fast
2. Ancelot is a beast - it will take teamwork to kill it off, especially if you run two together. It took 3 of us to kill one off - had to keep taking turns pounding the shield so the others could pound the bot.
3. Aphid nerf sucks - they still work okay in most respects but they don't clear shields and low obstacles like they used to. That flatter arc will take a little getting used to...and against fast bots they primarily miss.
4. The health buff for some of my lvl 6 heavy bots is nice but offset by the things up above. I'm worth more damage Dead to the opponents - yeah! My value to the match has increased.
5. My squad mates who pulled out their lvl 12 gekkos noticed the buff - I'm not going to bother getting them because as soon as I get them to any decent level Pixo will just nerf it - my same view on the ancille.
The ancelot is now going to be in the stable of a lot of players - seeing hangers with a couple of them already. Yikes - I know some were saying knife fighters were doomed with mid range trident furys but this is definitely tilting it back.

Wow. I say wow.
The only change I can see in my current lineup. Is none.
Now in the parking lot, my Leo looks like he has been working out while Sir Galahad is collecting beacons.
Have seen more ancile Lancelot last couple of days. Very tough to take out. Took 2 of by bots last game plus help from another guy to take 1 out. At our home beacon. Just stood with his back to building (power plant map) firing Orkan's.
I guess something else to purchase and upgrade for mine. Or not.
Like I don't have enough to upgrade as it is now.

I've been running AAnciLeo since android update and it is also tough to take down. And taller leo mitigates the lower arc of the aphids.

I reinstalled the game and logged in with my Facebook profile and nothing from my old gaming profile showed up. How do I recover it? I was under the impression that if I synced it with my Facebook everything would be saved.

FYI, if you're updating on your phone or tablet, click on the 'updates' tab at the bottom. Going to the War Robots app page (where the app sends you) only has an 'open' button.

Saw my first Ancilot today.
He was a little overconfident. Tough as hell though, he had just walked through the middle on Shenzhen, taken e despite everything my team threw at him and was heading for the side beacon I was moving to defend.
Don't walk right up to the DB Griff in your Ancelot, especially if he knows your Orkans are empty. He'll jump inside your shield and you'll just die.
