I already have 2 tarans and a carnage.
I have no long range setups in my hangar but I often find myself on close range maps so I'm a little hesitant to buy two zeuses.
A rogatka would be nice (just got enough gold to have 1 last night) but I already have a beacon capper.
What do you think I should build?

Zues carnage , lvl zues up to 12 and you will love it and believe me it will get a permanent spot in your hangar, only weap which might change your mind is tempest but I like zues more Rog is fun too but requires skills and higher lvl rog and tarans else not good with tarans if they are of low lvl, however with orkans it works gr8 even If orks are not lvled up much

Both are excellent setups. My two favorite and most effective bots are my Orkan Rog and my Zeus Carnage. The Rog is also my primary capper.
If you didn't already have a capper I would easily suggest the Rog. I run two in my hanger (the second is plasma). Since you don't have any range I would suggest the Zeus. But since your play style does not seem to prefer range, I think you may not like the Zeus Carnage setup.
My recommendation is to try out the Carnage with some ranged weapons (Nashorn, Trebs, whatever you have) to see if it is enjoyable. Just remember that the Zeuses will be better (IMO) than any of those other weapons. But it will give you a feel for the play style of a Zeus Carnage - a mobile sniper that is very helpful to pick off unshielded reds (especially Griffins and dash bots) and to counter red snipers. If you don't like it then go with the Rog.
Bottom line - Based on what little I know of your hanger and play style, I don't think you will regret the Rog. It is great fun to play. I think you MAY regret the Zeus if medium range is not your thing. But it is possible that the Zeus Carnage will be fun for you and fill a gap in your hanger.

I love the rogataka, he is awesome for capping beacons. It's almost a must have for events. He can also bring a merciful death to injured reds. ;-) I have orcans on mine.

Rogatka is great for beacon capping as it can take more hits than a light bot can and dishes out more damage. Useful for beacon capping but doesn't last long against a heavy. Zeus carnage is a great damage dealer and makes for great support, usually dealing like 10k damage per strike on a lone zeus. All around useful at any point in the match but is really fragile.

Tough call...Zeus Carnage and 2 Ork Rogs hold permanent (or close) spots in my hangar. I do slap tarans on one Rog occasionally. Both are mobile with respectable punch. Ancile is handy. Jump/speed is good for flanking etc...if I didn't have both, I'm not sure which I'd get first.
Either way you go, lvl them up to be happy with them.

Zeus Carnage has a more permanent place in my hanger over my Ork Rog. The Rog only shows up for medium bot dailies and when my light hanger can't cut it for beacon capping dailies. I've found that the Rog is just too squishey for anything other than hit and run tactics. The 600M range of the Zeus on your Carnage will get you out of the 525 range for Thunders taking down your shields and RDB Griffs. You can pick off Red all day long, and sometimes forget that you do need to get into the slugfest in order to win the match.

Before you spend your hard-earned Gold on things that are relatively easy to acquire otherwise, how many Orkans do you have? If you don't already have 4 or 5, I would get those first. And then you could consider using that Gold to convert some of it to WSP each day to buy component deals.
(I have like 6 Zeus and 3 Rogs and didn't buy a single one of them, they're all from events and mostly chests. Especially chests should be a good target now with the free Bronze chests from ads. Save for Gold chests to increase your likelihood of getting Gold items .. like Rogs and Zeuses).

I love my Rogs...I won 2 of them. So, you might win one if you're lucky.

Don't get the Zeuses unless you plan on leveling them pretty high (which is a bit expensive, silverwise). I have a pair of level 10s on my Carnage and it just isn't doing the job IMO. I need to level them up.

Since you tend to like close range style I would get the Rog and replace your other beacon capper with it . Put 2 Thunders on the Carnage and wreak havoc on the Reds. An RDB or Pinisher Griff could serve you well as a mid ranger at your level until you have enough for a Zues later.

2 Zeus is not enough to kill the red (assuming they are maxed level 12) if you don't have fury with 3 zeus, get the Rog with 2 Tarans (I'm enjoy my Hover with 2 Tarans mounted on it)

I need to level them up. I like my level 10 Zeuses but see diminishing returns now in Champion, as they obviously don't quite compare to a Mk2 level 12 Zeus Fury in terms of damage output. It's a bit like a Rog, since both Carnage and Rog only have two hardpoints, you probably want the weapons on those to be pretty high level.

Do yourself a favour, buy a Zeus Carnage! I LOVE it! Never had such a good midranger: excellent damage, excellent agility (which allows you to shoot much more than a Zeus Fury, for example) and it's really fun to use. Sometimes you can even cap unguarded beacons. Just remember to avoid Gekkos and Trebs, they can kill you fast. Other Zeus platforms are not a big problem, because they are usually slow and if you are aware you will be able to go out of their range easily. It's a recent addition in my hangar, but at L9-10 (both Zeuses will be L10 in a couple of hours) it helped me a lot to raise up my average damage/win percentage/League placement.
Edit: I am on iOS, Expert 1 (almost Master 3), L9-10 hangar with 600.000 avg. If you are in Champions League, you probably need a Fury to keep up with OP reds in terms of firepower...but my Zarny is good even against Champions, if used well. Anyway, what I suggested is referred to my actual League!
