I dunno if it's just me, but targeting seems really sensitive lately. I can have an enemy auto-targeted, and I'm facing maybe 3-5 degrees left or right of dead center of him, but just when I'm about to fire it'll switch target-focus to another enemy all the way at the edge of the screen simply because it's closer. This wasn't an issue before, but with the latest patch (and I think the one before that) I've noticed this happening a lot. Did they change anything?

Not just that my friend, even switching target lock it changes to a target way out of my weapon range... it's pretty 「fluffernutter」ed up right now if you ask me... LOL

Use the target lock. It will help prevent the targeting computer from going "hey, that guy on the other side of that wall is closer, let's shoot him instead".
And with the last update, the "hit box"is more refined to the size and shape of the robot. So aim better. Go for centre mass. That's what the cops do. Well, try to. That's the training. But every time they draw down they seem to have a collateral damage fiasco.
