I said I would grind the xmas tasks for bulgasari, in 3 days I made it to Ancile 1/5 task and I'm starting to get lazy because the win tasks are so mundane and annoying.
I have a rule, when I drop in my hover, see either a cossack/stalker enemy bot I will cease fire to do beacon swap and if they don't get the message I will kill them.
Funny thing is that, the only enemy reds who get the message to do beacon swap are tankers :P.
The cap and kill tasks are a breeze to skim through, but winning is the most dreadful task.
So what's your motivation to grind these chores?

I'm OCD and just have to have all the free prizes. I grinded my first event for the Tempests and knew that I wouldn't want to use them but they were new and shiny so they had to be mine.

I've joined the fledgling iOS 6Pack group and need some bells and whistles for my underleveled garbage. I could use just about any of that just for added flexibility or to fill in holes in my repertoire. I'm not sure which I hate more: beacon capture tasks or win requirements. Both suck in their own way. |

My android account is relatively new, so I kinda need all the stuff in there lol. I can make it up to the raijin for the second event, but for the first one maximum the trident, maybe the ancile.
My iOS account has the stuff I need, but 2 more aphids are always good, plus another stalker for a gold farming hangar is nice.

I have no motivation at all. Infact, I'm still at the early stages of the Natasha task. I don't want to spend precious days of my life grinding for crappy prizes. The Shocktrains and the Bulgasari (which are really good prizes) are too hard to obtain if you have something demanding to do in real life  |

Zip, it's too soon after the last event, too long, too tedious, and can't even be bothered to tank to make it easier.
The prizes are crap, until the 10th, how about a change, gold, WSP, components, instead of...Orkan, Magnum, X unusable bot with Y skin. Just the same as the last events.
Same tasks 12 with poxy subtasks. Bugusari / Hover, meh. Even the end prize is pretty lame.
Christmas is a time of giving, Pix read that as doing the same 「dookie」, for similarly 「dookie」 prizes.

I need another bulgasari. Taran bulgasari is an absolute beast.
I will collect the shocktrains but I refuse to use them until I have to.
I pre-MK2 maxed 3 more tarans and 2 are on a lance as a place holder. My master plan hanger is:
2 orkan haechi
2 taran bulgasari
1 zeus fury
I am shy 1 bulgasari at this point!
I doubt I will grind out the second chain for a hover. I don't want one of those.
I may go to the storms as I have 2 already.
This event I am gaining silver like crazy so that's good

I like the thought of getting $300 worth of their new op equipment for free and denying them that money from my wallet. Plus it'll help my hangar and the clan I'm in.

OMFG, if I have another +3-7 losing game on a winning task, I am going to lose it. 4 in a row where I gained points in a losing effort to start winning trident tasks. Yet I grind on b/c I want a Bulg and shocktrains.

I wouldn't call it free equipment. Time spent is just as important as money spent, and I can't be bothered to complete any of the tasks past the Griffin.

Free stuff of course. Even if I have it or not always nice. Not a huge grinder to the end as I barely make it to the middle typically but some of the skins would be nice for me. Stalker and Griffin I dont have for my collection.

I have no motivation and no time to grind. I will treat this event exactly like the Halloween event. Except for the fact that I'm slowly upgrading a couple of new toys, and since I can't wait to use them, I'm losing almost every game I play.

Both suck in their own way. I grinded the last event in my main account to get stuff for 6 pack and am pretty much right for it - I don't want anything more in that account at the moment. I am going to grind out to the aphid in 3 baby accounts that I lend out for 6 pack. If each of them can have 2 aphids it will give a lot more options for running stukas or stalkers. In one of them the Natasha is actually significantly better than the destrier I was running. (hangar was rdb griff, punisher leo, punisher cossack and pinata destrier). |

Ideally I want to reach the Carnage....and get the Stalker (I have neither)
Not sure I will have enough time to spend on reaching the Carnage --> I'm on the 4th step if I get through 5 and 6 with time to spare I'll go all out on 7,8 to try and get the Carnage ?

Married, kids, job. War Robots is for fun. Grinding frantically is not fun. So no motivation.
I'm still on the magnum task. I might get to the aphid, maybe the treb. We'll see. But that will be as a result of normal play.

After the first two events they had I lost all motivation to grind. Each event finds me playing the game less and less during the event. I don’t need another Leo and especially another Magnum, everything gets sold for silver anyway.
I do think for newer players the events are good though, it gives them a chance to get some nice stuff if they are willing and can put in the time.

I will get 2 free magnums in this event, so that's good cause I can keep my thunder magnum leo. That way I can build my PDB griffin and save 7500 WSP.
I'm also in it for the griffin and stalker, because I know I can make it there. I won't be able to get the carnage because I have school until the 22nd, but during the second chain I can get my hands on a raijin with some grinding.
The 2 anciles are useful for the future, maybe building a pothead leo and definitely an ancilot.
Those trebs might be nice in the future if I decide to make a treb gekko leo/natty.
Other than the stuff I mentioned, there really isn't anything worth getting (other than the orkans). Sure, the top 3 prizes are really good, but IMHO, you do more damage to yourself, and frankly your device, than good. Plus shocktrain requires no brain at all, just point and shoot. Replaced even the ancilot as the most brainless IMHO (with ancilot you just walk and nothing hurts you). I'd rather play something that requires a decent amount of skill to use.
