Started playing September 2016. 100% F2P. Back then, my aim was a full 12/12 hangar but I didn't focus too much on it as I liked to use all sorts of bots and weapons. I could have done it a lot quicker, but I did finally achieve it - about a week after Pix introduced MKII, so that was a bit of a let down... When leagues came in I wasn't too bothered about trying to get to the top, seeing as I used all sorts of different bots and weapons and hadn't got close to a strong enough line-up to go for champions league. Once my 12/12 was almost finished though, I decided to see if I could do it and last night I did: So, for those of you who say the game is now P2W, I offer hope. With patience it can be done. Expert league was a bit of a grind but, as others have found, the Master tiers were surprisingly easy. Only problem is, now that I'm here, I'm not sure what else to do in the game...

I start this game in late Jan or early Feb 2017 in iOS, I have around 10.5/11.8 hanger. I could’ve 11/12 hanger if I didn’t start upgrading my first Lancelot few weeks ago (now ~8/11). Even my Rogatka, 3 Griffin and Galahad (or upgrading Lancelot) is pretty high level, they aren’t the best bots anymore, which will be replaced when I collect enough components. They were great bots in different situations, now not so much.

I've been playing War Robots since August 2016 and never upgraded my gear beyond level 9. I have 32 bots and about 120 weapons at level 9. I'm still having a blast playing this game. I just stay at my sweet spot and focus on collecting new toys.

Not much motivation to play in Champs league; it's not as flooded with Whales as I had feared, but they are there and the skill level is noticeably higher than the other leagues - you really have to be on your game to stand a chance, so I may well revert to some of my more fun lineups and drop back into Master.

The game is most like it used to be in Silver and Gold, imo. 2nd account is all lvl 6, and I'm gonna see where I end up. Right now I'm in the challenge for Gold 3. I don't expect to have any trouble with it. Still 1 or 2 in dmg, even with peers being 8-10/8-11.
Don't sweat League ranking. It's meaningless due to T/C.

I started a bit before you, have about 2000 victories, so I'm assuming you play a lot more then me. Only at lvl 10 with a couple 11 weapons (bots 8/9). Hovered around Expert 1 to almost Master 3 before I toss in the towel and dropped back down to E3 and played with Lights bots/mixed until I get enough Ag and upgrade my weapons. Question: Now that's you're lvl 12, considering doing it all over again and bring things to MK2? (you'll need 10K in Au just to start the process)

The thought of having to go through the whole upgrade process again for a 20% buff is depressing so no plans to do that any time soon. Instead I'm upgrading other bits of kit to try out - I'm going for a 10/10 treb butch at the moment but I only have 3 trebs so far and they're at levels 5, 4 and 1 so that should keep me busy for a while.

I basically stopped at level 10 on Android, because then I realized that I don't play enough to upgrade beyond that. And of course, shortly afterwards the decision was supported by the introduction of Dash bots which made high Expert play impossible. Playing for a year, I have a lot of different weapons at level 8-10 so I can switch around a lot.
