Greetings to all pilots, I decided to post here because I think algorithm for selecting robots in a match needs serious tweak. Ever since I have reached higher level I noticed concerning trend where either of two things happen: 1. I get put in team with low level light/medium robots. 2. I get put in a team going against squad of level 30 clan guys. The outcome is predictable, the match is one sided, players get discouraged and do not participate which makes it even worse. I've had games where I was trying hard to fend off pack of players from top league and after tough loss the game deducted my league points. Should it be really rewarded to run your own level 25+ squad and gang up on newcomers? I really hope this gets addressed soon because if not I will have to stop playing this game. PS. On a funny side, in order to register for this forum I had to state that I'm not robot. I AM robot, level 8 Leo.

It sounds like you are in a lower league? Hate to break it to you but it only gets worse. Search for recent threads on “MM” or Match Maker and you can find some strategies to counter and lots of other people in the same position.

Hi, thanks for reply, hi5. I'm right now in Expert League 1 hoping to make it into Master III. There's simple solution that Pixonic can implement and that is to incentivize going against much better opponents. For example, right now losing side gets no gold. But if losing players made real effort and were to be rewarded with significant gold amounts they could progress faster, the experienced guys would have people to play against and everybody is happy. Is it going to happen? Probably not, but I do like the game and decided to at least voice my opinion and give Pixonic a chance. If Pixonic decides to ignore, I have plenty of other games that beg for my attention. And I do spend real money on games I like. Regards

My mistake, I assumed that since you were referencing level 25+ you were still in the lower leagues - unless you are on Facebook, which has different distributions across leagues
On iOS and Android the type of matching you reference is very common, and it is speculated that this is intentional so as to frustrate players into spending money to perform better. I personally do not believe this will change. There are some releases planned that may increase some rewards for higher leagues but I have not read anything specifically about adding gold at the end of matches for the losing team.
I do not recommend spending real money on this game but it’s a personal choice.

But it's funny how it works because while I thought the game is fair and more or less balanced I was willing to spend money up to what I'd spend on a good PC game. Now I'm very close to stopping playing it and certainly won't put another dime into it. My victory ratio dropped from ~60% to 38% within two days and if it's to get even worse then I just might quit now.
