Heya everyone! So a while back I had gotten my little brother into War Robots and he played up to level 20 in where he stopped playing the game. I just got him to re download it today and on arival to his old hanger, he was met with close to 14,000 gold in returning pilot bonus. He is a level 20 with a fifth hanger deck and a decked out lance. I had only experienced returning pilot gold bonus once before for only about 2,000.
I was trying to find information on how the returning pilot bonus works or if anyone knows exactly how it is scaled.
I was assuming it has to do with both the amount of time and the number of events one has skipped over till he/she rejoins, or in any other number of ways. I couldnt find anything else on it so if anyone has any info, Id love to hear.
It's by no means for any exploitation of the game, but I am genuinely confused and curious about how it may work. Any clues?

I quit around late May and came back in early September and got 3750 gold. Seems like 1k gold for one month of no activity.

I quit around late May and came back in early September and got 3750 gold. Seems like 1k gold for one month of no activity. Yeah, I was thinking about that too, but the account in question was not offline for any more than 10 months tops |

Couldn’t you just not go on for a month then get free gold? I dont believe thats the case. I think there is a larger threashold as to when the system starts to accumulate gold |

When I stopped playing, I got notifications like "come back! your team needs you" or something or the sorts. I also kept getting notifications that my wsp shop is empty etc... |

On my android account, I was level 12 when my nexus broke, so I switched over to playing on an iPad, and I stopped playing android. I had it linked to game center. 3 months later I got a samsung and I installed War Robots. I was met with 1000 gold, which I used on my 4th slot. I guess this rules out the gold-per-month thing, IDK.
P.S., your brother is SOO LUCKY to get 14k gold. I would have bought the 5th slot, 3 orkans and a lance. Maybe an aphid or 2 as well, idk.

This also happened when I loged in my brother's account about months after he stopped playing, he got 5000K+, many times I couldnt play for weeks but I didn't get anything when I returned, I think its given to players who have stop playing for a long time, like for months, is it possible they only give new players (less than level 30)

So it seems that gold for returning players takes into account: 1) Time gone by since start of idle 2) Level of player returning 3) How many times the player has recieved a welcome back bonus |

I have two inactive accounts on iOS and one that I continue to play. I check them every 30 days, have a reminder setup to do that. The Diamond one nets me around 800au, the Champion around 240au. Haven’t qualified either in a few months nor played a game.

So I was just logging into another IOS account I haven't used since 09/2017. Got 4,2K gold and the offer for each dash bot to buy at 14k gold. Account is level 21 and bots are 3 to 6.
Isn't it a shame that a player gets rewards for being inactive, while the active player gets nothing?
Crusher-of-Souls you can always change your account in settings>gamecenter. I run two accounts with IOS.

I can confirm this. I stopped for around a year but I came back. I arrived to my hangar and found 17k gold just sitting there. I got a fury. 5th hangar slot. And I bought 2 Zeus’s. I still have 4.5k left to save lol it is great
