Just curious. What happens when you put an Ancile on a Carnage? Do the in-built and external Anciles absorb damage evenly?

Yeah, they all stack. For example two anciles on the carnage would give you 248k total shield and 10.2k regen per second.

As a Carnage fan, I wish Ancile was like Iron Man's *suit*case. They kind of look the same too! A super buffed 248k hp 10.2k regen shield sounds amazing but sadly almost useless.

Pix needs to make the Carnage shield act exactly like the buffed Ancile. Not sure why this hasn't been tested yet, other then there's no money in it for Pix.

Guessing you mean their strength difference. I'd love it but carnage would be too strong against physical weapons. On the other hand, it isn't exactly unfair either since carnage is too weak against plasma weapons.

They probably just decided carnage didn't need a buff.

They probably just decided carnage didn't need a buff. carnage might go OP if there will be too much buff on its ancile. carrying 2 hard weapon + rush is already deadly

Guessing you mean their strength difference. I'd love it but carnage would be too strong against physical weapons. On the other hand, it isn't exactly unfair either since carnage is too weak against plasma weapons. The buffed Ancile and Fujin Sentinel shield will have greatly enhanced HP recovery. The Carnage had been left out of this buff. The Carnage's shield always was treated as useless, because it can be zeroed by shots that are not even close to the Carnage. A Tulumbas can miss the Carnage by nearly 50 meters and still cause shield HP drain. Heck, even a Molot at 800m can deplete the shield in just a few seconds. Coupled with the unrealistic shield HP recovery time, there's basically no shield available on a Carnage. Compared to the Ecu or Brit bot shields that do their job capability and reliably, the Carnage shield is a complete no-show for all practical purposes.

Not if you can coordinate with a teammate. Imagine a Carnage with that kind of energy shield hiding behind and providing cover for a Galahd or Lancelot at center beacon, with their phisical shields protecting the Carnage against plasma. You too would probably be able to hold central beacon or a tactical choke point for half the game and lay waste to anything approaching (even if the one in the Carnage could just stop and go get a coffee for those five minutes). I've accidentally did something like that when I found myself close with a quadrupede bot with shield in my galahad and ended up ammassing 600.000 damages (used only that bot in the game, they never managed to kill us).

Everything works amazingly when coordinated with a teammate so that's not strictly carnage-ancile-galahad sort of specific. I agree, ancile carnage hiding behind a friendly galahad would result in a much longer uptime but it will also result in low damage. Especially at most center beacons that are usually under siege by both sides over 300 meters. Don't get it wrong, I'm satisfied with how carnage works right now and the iron man suitcase wasn't a real propositon.

"I agree, ancile carnage hiding behind a friendly galahad would result in a much longer uptime but it will also result in low damage."
Absolutely, in fact, if done right, in ab「extra friendly woman」ely no damage done by the Carnage player.
That was more from a "take one for the team for the others to win" persepctive than a way to make gold. Alternatively, a Natasha shield (2 anciles) would provide about the same protection with two light hardpoint to partecipate in the slaughter, even covering the enemies approaching from the sides of the phisical shield part of the duo.

carnage might go OP if there will be too much buff on its ancile. carrying 2 hard weapon + rush is already deadly Carnage was significantly nerfed by the HP change, at least in lower tiers. As a result, most robots have more HP, so it takes longer to kill them. A level 1 Boa used to have 72k HP and could be killed by a full burst of two level 1 Thunders (84k damage max). Of course, a Thunder has full damage only if you're standing toe to toe, but still, you could get it in say 10 seconds with a few reloads. Now that Boa has 94k and you need more like 20 seconds to finish it.

Since Leo HP buff my Carnage thunder seems more squishy then ever as you have one more bot with plasma thunder which takes longer bring down.
Carnage seems be getting weaker due all counters and higher health bots.
They should gives it's Ancile same buff as gold Ancile but not allow it to equip the gold Ancile.

against carnage, i just use galahad and stay out of close range (thunder close range), as the galahad has the shield and speed, and combining it with plasma=dead carnaga

I considered it for clan battles after the update was released, and so did this guy on fb. But in the end I think it's too vulnerable to plasma, especially trebuchets, to be worth it.

I would like to see the carnage ancile with just a small buff, just a little better than it is now because like previously mention, carnage is deadly as it is, but it's also really squishy.

I run a Thunder Carnage and a Mid-range Carnage in Diamond, and they are squishy. I do think they could use a small HP buff (say 120k - 125k) and a small shield regen. buff (say 3%). Its a flanker-bot and does it well. My biggest complaint is the Thunder Carnage has a rough time dealing with Trebs on an open map, but that's more of a problem with the map than it is the Carnage.
