No this is just pathetic, do they really expect people to drop $100 like it's nothing, just to get past the first task? Yeah not happening
My limit for spending on games is $50 for a single purchase only if it's worth it and works for a long duration.
This is like ordering an iPhone 4s on Ebay only to open the package and see a Nokia flip phone inside.
Good luck spending your entire life savings trying to get to the 2,000 gold reward task!

Looks like a bonus task..only applicable those RM spenders, F2P still can complete their daily tasks and get the golds? Are people not happy with this? No. I'd really rather get smacked around by MM til I spent for better bots and weapons. Seriously, I think its a win-win. Paying players get more value for their money. F2P players can watch videos to speed up daily tasks and arent negatively affected by not taking the offer. MM is slowly improving so paying players with upgraded stuff SHOULD be moving up and leaving you in peace.

For those saying “this is horrible“, relax, this is just a bonus for spending on other items. You aren’t spending the dollar amount in question just for the bonus.
For those of saying “don’t get bent out of shape; it’s just a bonus”, problem is, at this point anything Pixonic does with a $ sign involved is going to be lambasted because of the reputation they have built for themselves. They have created the unique problem for themselves where now every legit money-making idea they come up with looks just as bad to many as their overtly cash-grabbing schemes.
Nor do I feel any sympathy for them.

I have this on my alt but not on my main. I do like the watch videos to speed up the process though.

This thread is an example of complaining about anything. I don't know if I will be buying anything, but this is literally 100% free gold. If you don't want it, then don't buy anything. But to complain about it makes you look incredibly stupid and entitled. It is nothing more than free bonus gold on top of regular purchases.
And yes, it's a ploy to induce more spending. They're a for profit corporation, that is what they are supposed to do. This is a million times better than the $300 bots, or the gambling systems. This is a completely transparent and fair way to encourage spending. Do you complain when grocery stores do buy one get one free sales? Because that is literally what you're whining about here.

To add, it doesn't work like people think. You don't have to do the $100 one first. They just have different levels for different rewards. And from the looks of things, you can do them all as many times as you want basically.

Yes, because people can totally eat virtual robots. Who doesn't like some sautéed Haechi to go along with steamed Bulgasari? I'll have some fresh Kumiho. Looks like I already got one. Maybe I can get some Scourges to clean the dishes after dinner. Aside from that, I'm entitled because I don't spend any money to play a game, and point out how this doesn't help Pixonic's relations with the players(in my opinion of all things) ? If I somehow come off as stupid for not spending more money than I have sense, you must be incredibly dense.

No two ways about it actually. PIXO WANTS YOUR MONEY. I think the key difference in this case is that they appear to have toned down the seemingly underhanded tactics they employ to get it. This is good. It shows that they are either finally listening, have acknowledged a noticeable effect on their business or both. It also good that they appear to be making long awaited tweaks to MM perhaps for its contribution to the current situation. Either way, to interpret these developments as anything but positive (however jaded we have become), is looking a gift horse in the mouth.

If I am reading this correctly, it is an additional incentive to spend RM. So you spend as much or a little as you like and you effectively get between a 15 to 20% bonus in Au depending on what you spent? If that is the case, then all I see is a positive and no negative at all? If you are spending RM in that period you get more value, if you are not then doesn’t affect you in the first place? Am I missing something? You are absolutely correct. Fact: Pix is rewarding extra virtual resources to paying players Positive interpretation: Pix is being generous Negative interpretation: Pix is so focused on short term revenue, beware interpretation is subjective as always.

Just wanted to post an update. Seems I was wrong about how many times you had to do a particular bonus task. The numbers are misleading. I spent under $10 yesterday to take advantage of the cheap gold deals and some Hover components. I got the "make a purchase bonus" and the "spend $1" bonus and I think the "spend $5" bonus. Now it looks as if I'm close to getting the "spend $10" bonus.

What is iteresting if that the one spend acctivaltes all the task bars. Meaning that if you spend $100 for example you will not only get the extra 2,000 Au but all the other bonus amounts as well. If it does work that way it effectivly means that the Au bonus ramps up the more you spent, being over 35% if you spend $100.

I started on the 1.19 and 2.59 gold deals (don't quote me on the numbers...going by memory), and then 5.99 on some Hover components. Basically got back the gold I'd spent last couple of days on component deals.
