So Pixonic ran a Hangar Deck giveaway for our forum (among other platforms) over the last day so. Good news: instead of 200 IDs for Reddit and the Forums, They gave out 250. As promised, it was first come first served — here's the list of all IDs we'll ship the Decks to. To see if you have won, use the search function in your browser and key your player ID in to see if your ID is on the list. If you're on the list, you'll receive a free Deck very soon (in a couple of days on Android, slightly later — on iOS, Gameroom and Amazon). There will be a push notification, so you'll know immediately that your Deck has arrived. If you didn't find yourself in the list, don't worry — it's very likely that there will be more giveaways in the future! Note from SuperHero:(For the sake of accountability and transparency) I tried to make the giveaway as fair as possible by splitting our allotted 100 into 2 lots of 50s and posted the draws 12 hours apart in order to try and accommodate for the various time-zones of our users. I know it was not perfect and there are probably more folks who might have been cut out from the 2nd draw than the 1st draw. For that, I sincerely apologize if this resulted in you being cut out from this round of giveaways. Honestly I didn't expect the response to be that great! Though to be fair Pix also expanded the amount by 50 I hope that helps and that the people left out was kept to a minimum. But as Pix has said, there will be more giveaways to come and I will endeavor to keep finding better ways to do this. Suggestions are welcome! Congratulations again to all who won! YES I WON A HANGER DECK!!! I'm happy like a a newborn puppy  Thank you so much mr moderator! This is way more exciting then the 3.4.0 update because it was adding more $$$ component items which is a disappointment. Though I only have 3 robots in my hanger... time to save up for Grifin, Leo and another Natasha. |

I'm not normally negative or cynical about the game, but I would ask the people who got the free hangar deck not to shy away from criticizing the P2W aspect of this "feature."
I think it was clever of Pixonic to blunt criticism by giving away a tiny number of decks (compared to players) to the most vocal groups of complainers.
Knowing that the Mk2 dashbot whales will be able to choose which multi-thousand dollar hangar to destroy me with according to which map comes up is not comforting. At the very top of this game (which unfortunately extends down to me at Expert 2 on iOS) each little advantage is crucial. And this is a very expensive advantage. Not just for the 7500 Au x the number of ways you can classify the maps. But now you have to run more than 5 Mk2 dashes, Inquisitors, and full sets of shocktrains, orkans, embers, and probably hydras too. This is multiplying out the costs and time required for F2P from ridiculous to absolutely ludicrous. The dream of a top F2P hangar is completely trashed.
Good thing I was never going to be at the top anyway. My skill will never be in that tier, and like clash of clans, to gain cups after the monthly league reset requires an inordinate amount of time (independent wealth, not wages from actual work).

Duly noted. It will take me some time before I can even effectively utilise this feature, so I should get a sense of how this affects f2p players in the meantime. Also the extent of my DIESS equipment is limited to a single Kumiho, so rest assured I will still be looking to observe how this feature impacts the game. Also, don’t sell your abilities too short. You held your own just fine when we squadded. You are simply at the point where you need to be squadding with players that are higher ranked than you, not just to increase your chance of winning, but also to practise the most important tactics which can be particular to top tier. Since we have a few Champs in the clan now, I hope you get some chance to do this. We can discord sometimes when we squad if you’re interested. |
