Small rant I guess. Tired of teammates with Dash bots who cap a beacon at the last minute by coming from behind me after I travel halfway across the map. With that speed get to the center beacon douche. BR on Springfield map. The side that you have to go way to the right to get the far beacon. In Rhino and I travel just about to the last shed and this douche runs in and caps the beacon. I look at the Center and it was still white. This POS had to have seen me running towards it for a while and figured he could beat me. What a hero.
I proceeded to get in his face and impede his progress. Basically just kept firing at him and not letting him move. Which was funny because Rhino is the slowest mover and this guy could not get past me. I forced him to get killed. While it was not good for my team, it was great for me to get back at him for it. After he died I continued on...
But seriously we get it you have a fast bot. Use it to the team's advantage and cap the center beacon. Why track down someone to cap a beacon at the last minute? Especially that one?

I agree. I grinded for a Kumiho so now that i have one why would I steal some stalker's booty. Just let them take the beacon and use your dash to maximize chances to win. But I feel the same anyone tries to race another capper to a beacon when there are other beacons to be grabbed. Does not help the team.

Ignore beacons and focus on damage. It’s what we want.. er it’s what Pixonic wants you to do anyways.

I'm certain this isn't every player with a Dash but the general mindset is that they don't give a 「dookie」 about you or the team. They didn't spend RM on the game to help the team win, its to help *them* win. If you aren't squadding, its advisable to treat every game you play as an "Every man for himself" ordeal.

I have a kumiho from bm before components and i use it for beacon capping. But i use it first for center beacon since im the fastest then wait for backup then proceed to next beacon. Center is crucial to winning got to maintain that above 70% win rate.

I play to win unless I have a specific task like in the summer event or halloween event. if I can't win, I want red to know they were in a scrap.

Agreed on all counts but hopefully you got a Kumiho during the last event because once the X-Mas event starts you're going to see a whole lot of dash bots capping beacons to complete tasks. Period.
70% win rate is impressive islandmojo! props!

Everything you do in this game pisses some one else off.. So I am simply ambivalent about it.

Period. 70% win rate is impressive islandmojo! props! Yep, next event will be pretty bad with the Kbots stealing our beacons. IT was already pretty bad this event. I was the flanker many times on Canyon killing the red hiding on the other side of centre beacon. Of course I didn't get to cap the beacon I just freed cause there's a blue hiding under there. Everytime I'm under there, nope. No help, no beacon. So it's pretty bad.

Had stuff like this happen. If we aren't playing as a team (which is exactly what that guy did). I drop the match. This way beacon capping means diddily squat if you lose.

I always use my Kumiho for early phase beacon capping. I won't try to compete with someone who already is intent on capping a beacon though, I would go for the next.
Not enough people cap beacons early, many just drive their camper sniper bots into position.
My Kumiho often dies early due to attempts for early seizure of beacons, especially on Beacon Rush. If someone like a Rhino is already ahead of me trying to center cap Yamantau for example, I let him be, I would stay behind him to give additional firepower as surely as the enemy cappers rush in. I like to keep my bot a little longer so it can fight and stay in the game a bit more; that Rhino is surely on a suicide mission.
In the OP situation at Springfield, I would follow the Rhino and behind, and let him cap it. He is taking the most risk, I would support him as surely as enemy cappers are going to try to take the beacon away, usually jumpbots like Griffins and Rogs.
I do this for self preservation, not because I am charitable.

I learned not to race for beacons anymore, and I feel good about it. Same here... If a see dash bots on the other team, I only use 1 both and I don't bother spawning again. Not fair on my team mates, but I do refuse to play matches with over powering dash bots or inquisitor. Players from champion league drop their league ratings, I did it too as I was fed up being matched with champions, with full Mk2 dash bot hangars (weapons and bots). They have spread all the way down to bronze, thru to silver and gold. Hate me for it, don't care.

Ahhh the art of the kumiho. I used to think he was disposable for center beacon in BR. He is way more than that. Tips- Fire orkans early at stalkers. Your speed is so fast a lot of them will hit before he is in stealth Don't go all the way into the beacon just enough to get it (Yama especially) Wait to drop to see what other beacon campers are dropped, consider saving kumiho for later Remember his survivability is his agility and speed. sometimes keeping the beacon from changing is enough and can be done by dancing around the reds Use your teammates to cover your 「bum-bum」 crossing dangerous open areas (lance especially). At the end of an epic battle kumiho can cap a couple beacons and be an amazing closing bot. On maps like PP and valley you can control more than one beacon with the ability to move so rapidly.

Lately I put back a Lancelot, and dropping it sends a message to the team, yeah, I just want to fight too.

I have stopped capping beacons. But if a kumiho is capping a beacon (even if stolen from you) than it is doing its job. Kumi is a made to cap beacons. Besides if a player has worked hard during the event and has earned it than why wouldn't he/she use it to cap most beacons now!

I think my biggest gripe is when I'm running towards a beacon with my Rhino, because a slower bot has dropped at a slightly better position I have to run by them and they deliberately block me and push me into a wall. I will get there first, they know it and block me to get it first. Pisses me off, so I wait a minute and drop so no one fills my spot. Two can play at that game, perhaps it will teach some team ethics

To be fair, this also applies to free to play pilots who cant or wont brawl or go for beacons at all. They drop in range bot after range bot and just shoot at whatever is out in the open for however long the game lasts then there 5 capped and just accept the defeat, rinse and repeat. Lets be fair here. You can beat just about anybody to a beacon with a Stalker if you set your mind to it, you dont have to have a Kumiho. Some people maybe on a beacon task too. Personally, its not getting the beacons on the side right off thats a big deal to me, its the people who "get them back" in the game are the ones that win games. The "every man for himself" thing applies to many people in the game. Not just people with expensive hangars.

Thing is the Douche could have easily grabbed the close beacon then got the center beacon instead of racing me down at the last minute to grab the furthest away beacon. I don't give a crap if he was on a beacon task. Play 1 or 2 more games then. This is in Diamond III in BR.
It happened again this morning. I was clearly running towards a beacon and then out of nowhere a dash douche grabbed it. Again I was clearly on my way to getting it and was 95% there. Boom passed by.... I again proceeded to get in this douche's face and forced him to try and fight a red with me in his face.

The "every man for himself" thing applies to many people in the game. Not just people with expensive hangars. I think a lot of this is due to the large percent of expert players, who do not have the hanger strength to brawl with masters/champ players. The issue is well stated GG, folks just camp, because its the only way they can survive. A lance is an awesome beacon capturing machine. However, dropping a treb/disco natasha as your first bot on Dead City is just worthless. To the OP, if you don't like the way another caps beacons, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT YOURSELF. Stalker is one of, if not the most effective center beacon capturing bot in the game. Everyone can afford one. Never assume that other players will be courteous or ethical. If you are sitting in a bot wondering why someone else didn't capture center, you are just as guilty as the rest of your team.

I always drop a kumiho first to grab the early beacons. When it's gonna be close to a tie with a teammate, I simply wait an extra couple seconds so we both get the cap.

If it's dom, I usually drop kumi as my last bot to get the win by beacon control or if some douche is annoying me with hydras, I dash to their place and fk their sh.it up in point blank range. I just circle them and watch them try to aim their hydras and fail like go suk a dik lmao. Or I just the kumi and kamikaze dash inside an ancilot shield and unload orkans and then dash back out into hiding to reload and repeat
