Those names popping up on the bottom of the screen showing the winners in the Black Market. I suspect they are not really "current". I play that thing every time I get 10 keys. My winnings are a joke. Best thing I won is 8 gold and 15,000 silver. The rest is garbage. Ain't it funny how just when you are about to win something useful...a bot, a weapon, or a big lump of gold, the wheel manages to stop just before it or just after it? And those names going across the screen...that is just some kind of motivator to get you to play the Black Market. You really have no idea if those winners are from today, last week, last month, or God knows when. I'll keep playing it because I have nothing else to do with those keys. But my hopes of winning anything useful are Slim and None and Slim left town.

The bronze chests are rubbish, and you shouldn't expect to get any of the items that flash accross the bottom. You have something like a .01% chance to get a gold item. The silver chests are a little better, and some players have won some decent items, bots, and/or components. The gold chests have a much better chance of awarding gold items. But I personally am too impatient to save for the gold chests...I always gamble the silver chests for 100 keys.

Save for the gold chest and u get something decent too.
To be fair, u can very very rarely get lucky. Best i got from a bronze was 1000 keys, 1000 gold, and a non silver bot (cant remember wich one, sold it) But i opened hundreds of them, if not a thousand.
What i found interesting about the popups, is that some players seem fake profiles, like level 15, 3 bots, 50 wins and zero activity points. Checked maybe 15 profiles as they popped up, half of them where like this.

First I would have to play a crapload of games to get 100 keys. And one roll and I would probably get boned. No way am I gonna BUY keys. Might as well just buy the item. At least I know for sure I am getting it.

Tbf my kid has won a Carnage, a Jesse and a zeus from bronze chests and he has opened less than a hundred. This was before the introduction of components though. And to compare I have opened a LOT more chests from grinding and the best I have got is 1000 kumiho parts from my first and so far only gold chest.

The carnage win was actually quite funny since he had started a second account on our family tablet and just reached level 5. At this point you unlock the BM and when he spun the free 100 keys he was given on bronze chests he won the carnage. At this point he had not even unlocked the ability to buy a thunder so it was pretty imbalanced to say the least to run that bot against low level silver bots like schutze, destriers and the occasional patton... For a short time he could feel like a whale among herring

I have been tasked to create names for these winners and it is a tough job. Do you know how hard it is creating semi-credible names every 2 seconds? If you don't believe me, try it yourself. Please show some appreciation and sensitivity to the people who serve you. Thank you.

I have never won anything really worth mentioning from the small chests. Then again I haven’t expected anything, either. It’s been free after all, and in that sense whatever you get is ok for me.
However, I just won 2000 au from a 1k BM chest I managed to grind during the Halloween event. So if you see my name flash by, at least that’s for real. That was my first ”big” win ever btw, and I’ve been playing actively for a year. Never spent any RM on any of the Pix lotteries though, so I guess I should not expect much, either.

And get the heck off the forum and improve the game. That's a better task for you.

One time I sat and watched the winners names pop up and the same name won big ticket item after big ticket item for what seemed like an eternity, they must have dropped some serious RM.

I remember checking this forum back in the old MM days. Someone noticed the names keep popping up even after he got disconnected from the internet.
Like the roulette wheel, it is a huge scam. They want to make you jealous enough to buy more keys with RM.
Much like the recent Call of Duty loot crate system. You are forced to watch other people open chests while you do.

It's not a scam, I have won items and then seen them show on the list a few minutes after... but I have a roll of tin foil if any need a hat or two...

They want to make you jealous enough to buy more keys with RM. Much like the recent Call of Duty loot crate system. You are forced to watch other people open chests while you do. That is because there is a delay. You have to remember there are tens to hundreds of thousands of people on the game. People are winning prizes fast enough that there is always a 5-10 minute list of names, which get sent to your phone immediately. If you unplug from the internet and let it scroll for 10 minutes it would likely stop. The other mistake was assuming any of those prizes came from a bronze black market chest (don’t get me wrong some do - I won a Zeus the other day). Almost all of those though are coming from the very high cost Casino Royale spins or Gold/Super Chests. The silver and bronze chest wins are much more rare.

Anyone ever see their own name on the scroll at the bottom? If so send a pic.

Don't have a pic but I won a Zeus during the anniversary event and I saw my own name pop up at the bottom right after I won it. I have seen a clanmate's name once recently too.

Have you guys ever been in a casino? They usually have a wall with pictures of jackpot winners holding an oversized check. Yet they aren't going bankrupt (usually). I suppose those must be paid actors in the pictures?
The number of big prize winners is tiny compared to the number of players. Just because YOU never won big doesn't mean NOBODY ever won big. People win nice prizes all the time. But it will probably never happen to you.
Too much innumeracy in our world.

I've won some goodies from the chests as well. Au items.
Doesn't change the fact that at best it's phycological manipulation, encouraging you to sheung in a game of chance. I think the returns/odds is still better than the roulette, now that it's definitely a scam.

If you don't spend Au on it and never spin it there is nothing but upside to BM. Just rewards at the end of the season. I usually save until it hits 1000 and spin. Last two spins were 5000 Au and 850 Au.

Then there is Joe Dokes and and Peter Anonymous. Now I have another list of names of winners, but it would probably get me banned (or start a bunch of dirty names posts), so I'll refrain from posting the other winners. But they are all legit.

Can't tell if sarcasm. Why would posting names of winners get you banned? What method would we use to determine if these pilots were real? More importantly, why would Pixonic have to run a list of fake winners? I'm not saying they couldn't. But why not run real winners? Are you saying people don't win the good prizes even 0.01% of the time? Are all the people from this forum who have won just bots?

Testimonials from winners or the popup prize announcements for lotteries of this scale are effective for psychological reasons, but they are worthless for determining actual value. You need to know the odds. If you don't know how many people are playing and how much they are playing, a list of winners means nothing.

Since summer event, I have spent around $15 on the BM wheel and its predecessor. Most "keys" I have obtained have been through play. I have won 1 lance, 1 gareth, 10,000 Au, 1 gekko and mostly a bunch of junk that I don't use. Bronze chest is crap. Silver chest is usually crap. Gold chest is almost always something good. Best odds are to not play and just take the reward at the end of the season b/c it eliminates all of the keys. Worst odds are spending RM to play bronze chest.

Pixonic would run a list of fake or PAST winners because there simply isn't that many current winners to list. It's a motivational device to get people to gamble and spend real $$$. I don't have the amount of "disposable income" required to play the 1000 keys slots. I have other things like eating and paying taxes that take priority. As I said, I'll keep plugging away at the Bronze slots. It's pretty easy to accumulate 10 keys and it's pretty hilarious the way the needle always stops just past the decent winnings to land on useless garbage. I swear if I actually win something of actual value...a bot, a weapon, a big case of gold, I will probably have a heart attack and die from shock and never get to enjoy it.
