Really liking the game a lot. Came from World of Tanks. I am at level 20 and am a bit confused about the Workshop thing. I guess I will figure it out eventually.

Welcome to war robots. Check out the wiki page. It has some decent guides and explanations about the workshop points. Good luck!

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Workshop points (WSP) in War Robots are basically used in two different ways. First way is to acquire the so-called WSP weapons and robots. Those you can get from the store just by coughing up enough WSP.
The second way of using WSP is to buy components for the new (very expensive and somewhat exclusive) weapons and bots. That you can do via the special offers screen. Mind you, scraping together enough components for such an item just by using WSP is doable, but it is a very slow process.
Since the whole in-game monetary system has been overhauled recently, it is a bit difficult to give absolutely solid advice how to best proceed with your WSP. I would still say with confidence though, that in the beginning it is best to use your Workshop points for WSP weapons, especially Magnums and Tarans. Those will give you most bang for your WSP buck for now, and are very useful all the way to the highest tiers. The rest is probably better left until a bit later.
In any case I'd advice you to keep on constantly producing WSP, since they are very useful for you now. That said though, I wouldn't necessarily use much of my gold to obtain them, at least not in the beginning. Gold is better used for purchasing the Gold items, priorities probably being the fourth slot (if you don't have one already) and some gold weapons, Orkans first and foremost.
Hope that helps. Feel free to ask more if need be.

As a newbie to WSP I would not spend them on the component offers... get yourself core WSP weapons/bots (like a couple of Tarans) first ... don't blow WSP (or Au) on junk .. it might be worth asking here first
