There was literally no bloody reason to nerf Thunders the first time, let alone the second time with update 3.2. Now there is no reward for putting yourself up close to an enemy with a Thunder.
Adrian Chong made a video a few days ago "analyzing" if it was really that much of a nerf and holy 「dookie」, it was beyond perplexing to watch him narrate exactly the opposite of what was going on. At the end of the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0T2sw2DWlUo) he stands 45 meters from a Lancelot and it takes 14 「fluffernutter」ING SECONDS TO KILL IT. Are you kidding me? What is the reward, at all, for using Thunders or a Carnage up close?
What Pixonic is doing makes no 「fluffernutter」ing sense. This game flat out isn't fun anymore now that it's so imbalanced, and the gameplay is just being pushed into the stalest possible configuration. Someone needs to get them to put down the 「fluffernutter」ing vodka.

What level are your Thunders, Carnage, and majority opponent levels? Please elaborate on how the Carnage Thunder piloting experience has changed for you.

Well, the Ember is super strong, so eventually you can run that if you don't want to drop $299.98 right now on a pair.

No could not be --- I mean his whole channel is one step above infomercial.

Just use Zeus.
Ok, a pair costs 2+ months worth of Au, and one more month for upgrading both, assuming you habe big enough Ag stockpile.
But totally worth it!
For the instant "dead red" gratification, there is still DB.

I feel like had I not read the update notes I would have noticed zero difference in my thunder carnage’s damage. I run two of them sometimes and they’re still beasts. My level up one is one of my most consistently good performers and the only bot in my hangar that I can’t imagine replacing, and the other carnage is a solid performer too. Regarding Adrian, and the other YouTubers, I think it’s pretty ridiculous to act like they have any responsibility to have “integrity”. If I were a youtuber of that caliber (a few thousand views per video, meh production quality) and the developers of some game I was covering offered me free stuff, I would totally be all over them.

To your point, I don't think "integrity" is an issue -- but lets figure out WHAT they are. Journalist? We have an ethics problem if they are. They do present as "fair and balanced" but the lack of disclosure means something else. Entertainers? Well then they make terrible spokes people, and great paid promoters. Marketers? Well, maybe, I mean they create promotional material that they get paid for (in kind or monetization) That is why I chose "infomercial" it is the perfect hybrid of all three and still allows the slimy behavior going on. The nature of the relationship means that they have little choice but to be sycophants to their masters. Is this all of them, are they all like this? No, maybe --- some have better moments than others, some might be OK but only time will tell. If I wanted to make it personal about adrian I would recycle someone elses quote that he "talks like he has a mouth full of carrots" but I don't need to go there to make the point about what he really is.

Personally, I think that for the most part, Adrian remains fairly objective, and it’s a bit far-fetched to declare a relatively small youtuber like him as a slimy sycophant and a puppet of a vast organization. He’s said that he thinks dashes are overpowered and that he will not be buying inquisitor due to its price. Besides, I like his voice. It’s strangely soothing.

I switch between Thunder and Zeus on my Carnage, and have been on a Zeus cycle since before the update, so I haven't experienced the Thunder nerf yet. Mine are at 12. That took a while. These arbitrary nerfs to gear we've invested in is not cool.

After the last thunder nerf I switched to my Zeus carnage. Honestly I like playing it more than the thunders. So, I'm sorry if the thunders were your thing, but If you have the Ag or the Zeus's already I would try it out. (Very deadly)

Carnage is lvl 11 with 10 Thunders, and it's still fun punching reds in the face -- especially dashes when you can corner them with an empty clip. I'm slowly getting better at picking my battles with it and finding cover until the right moment to go Chuck Norris on them, which helps tremendously. I have a pair of Zeuseseses too, but they're not leveled up because I'd have to completely change how I drive it. They're on the list to try at some point, but not any time soon. Thunder Carnage is still one of the better bare-knuckle brawlers. Most of the rest of my hangar is 10's, but this one might be the first loadout I max out.

I still wreck with dual thunders. Don't know how it took so long kill an opponent at 45 m, I literally just got out of a match where I spawned near a Tarancilot trying to cap our beacon and got him down to a sliver of health before dying.
The carnage thunder is still definitely a major player in my hangar. I use 10/11 thunders on a 10 carnage in Android, Master II/III

Like wide, got a pair of 10s on a level 9, most importantly of all the tiger paint. Ancillots don’t take 14s to kill, step in its ancille hit rush and circle attack a single side. Plus it’s very fun to use with the biggest “sit down” statement of any rig in the game.

I've never had much fun with thunders. For me, they're a very inconsistent weapon. I've stood at less than 100m and had my crosshairs on the target and do negligible damage, and have wrecked bots further out. It's weird and probably related to lag. What level does the zeus have to be to do a decent job? I've got 3, but only 2 are at level 7. I've just spent all my gold again, so I won't be getting a Fury any time soon, so might as well try running a zeus Carnage for a while.

At high leagues they have to be minimum 9 to be slightly effective. When you use it a ton you’ll realize it is actually is not an inconsistent weapon. The spread of bullets is actually programmed in a constant pattern. As for Zeus, I’d say eight to start getting they hang of it, 9+ for it to be genuinely effective.

My thunders are at 8 now. I don't know. Maybe bot levels have something to do with it too. Sometimes the bot I'm hitting isn't going down fast enough so maybe it's really high level or something.

But I gotta say, they're still pretty effective for me! Still having a banging time with my hot banger. On the bright side, even if you feel that you're not as hard of a banger up close, stay within ±480m of Ancile targets, and be that bubble popper. Stick close to your teammates. Also, what levels are your Carnage and Thunders? Thunders don't really pack that much of a punch until >Lvl.10

I noticed a very slight change but the thunder continues to be an excellent weapon. The carnage is the primary benefactor of the thunder and it still wrecks face. The big nerf to this combo has nothing to do with the thunder at all. The emergence of dash bots has deemphasized splash damage in iOS champion league and shifted in favor of plasma once again. With so much plasma around, the Lancelot has also made a pretty big comeback. It went from deserving 1 spot to now deserving 2 to 3 spots. The newly enhanced Zeus is also very effective. This combination of factors has really put the hurt on the thunder Carnage.

1. I don't believe Adrian receives very much, if anything, from Pix. He has said that on several of his videos. That said,...
2. I think he is wrong about the Thunders in that video. The Thunder Carnage difficulty comes from the release of Dash not the slight nerf of the Thunder. Sadly, I've had to shelf my max Thunder Carnage. It does awesome once in a while but not consistent enough for top tier.

Anyway, the taran haechi does well because of the extra 50m range, it cuts through all the ancile, and the bot is agile enough to evade plasma lancelot without much damage.

I never notice a real difference with nerfs or buffs. Really it's like a level difference at best. Level 10 thunder versus level 11. Maybe you received a psychological hit as well. Skill more than makes up for the tiny difference in damage. Are you playing different knowing your weapons received a debuff? Try playing with dsl lag issues. You can have a 12/12 hanger and struggle to score 300k if you're constantly a second or 2 behind the speed of gameplay. Whining about weapon buffs or debuffs is an excuse for poor play. Play to the weapon/bots strenghts and you will have success regardless the bot or weapon.
