i was all ready to blame Pixonic for the recent spate of connectivity issues. However, iOS 11 seems to have cause all sorts of other issues with devices, other apps and in one case has supposedly bricked an iPhone. I e even had connection issues with other games as well.
im wondering if the connectivity issues are really a iOS 11 issue, or is that just pure coincidence?
thoughts?

iOS 11 upgraded from 32 bit to 64 bit, so that may be part of the problem.
That and Apple's quality control has been dropping faster than people's opinion of Pixonic. Seriously, the iPhone 8 is liable to explode, you'd think that the note 7 would've given companies the idea that while explosions are cool in movies, they aren't so in real life. Way too many bugs in the update to count.

I am going with coincidence - I still didn't upgrade to 11. After 3.2 released there was a noticeable change. 4/6 players in a squad kicked simultaneously during one game, now seems like having a connection drop out is the main cause of 5v6 games and tanking is looking rare (which is doubly annoying as I can't post connection drop outs to Wall of Shame to relieve the frustration)

Not updating could easily cause just as many issues. #devilsadvocate

The grumblings I hear from the IOS guys I work with is that the whole network stack is a wreck.
The 64 bit change was bad, but they made other changes in the firmware to optimize the antenna subsystem and its power use for the older models and the desire to have users leverage "always on" behavior --- Not a shining moment for apple hardware guys and software guys hitting the mark.
I'm typing this from a mac, but am an android user for a reason (and always a model behind) -- the family is IOS however (because it is easier for me to support) and their experiences have been less than stellar. This update has me feeling like I'm working at the "hel(l/p) desk"

Dudes, the same thing happened to me after I updated my iPad, have not been able to play in 2 weeks and I complained to Pixonic, which did no good. I downloaded the game onto my iPhone, to start from ground zero and everything was fine until I updated the software and BAM, nada I could leave it on matchmaking from now until doomsday and not be able to play.

I have no light to shed on the actual question of stability issues, however I'm pretty sure two concepts in this thread are incorrect.
1. Although not impossible I think anyone suggesting War Robots bricked a phone is misdiagnosing.
2. Also I would be surprised to hear the IOS network stack has issues as it is based on BSD which still runs a huge amount of the internet. I guess it was a long time ago that it forked; stuff happens or doesn't. IPv6 is post that particular intellectual property $h@ft and maybe Apple has been hiring from Pixonic. </bias>

I don’t believe it. No other game I used to play or have recently downloaded has the stability issues of War Robots.
