Never had it before, what is eggnog supposed to taste like? Great with a fine Kentucky bourbon added to it. ? Agreed!! Honestly it's pretty gross by itself. It has both the flavor AND consistency of one of those sweet (often flavored) coffee creamers mixed with raw eggs and a dash or 2 of allspice and nutmeg.

YAY! I love eggnog (with or without booze). It tastes like liquid pudding or custard - aka “heaven”. Can’t drink too much in one sitting tho.

Huh. I like it alone. It tastes like liquid cake. A bit sappy but delicious for a quarter of your mug.

Great with a fine Kentucky bourbon added to it. ? Not too shabby with a good brandy either. Discovered that while I was stationed in Germany. A splash of brandy added is how I often have mine. I also often add a decent sprinkling of nutmeg to it. ŞĆĦŇIŦŽ€Ł -- Egg Nog has an interesting flavor. Obviously creamy. Not unlike a good brandy, but also quite similar to a good rum cream. But considerably thicker. Different brands (or home made) come in slightly different consistencies, but it's often a consistency to a slightly reduced cream-based soup.
