According to Bagofsoup in his video, there will be another way to get Dash bots in the near future. A way that "players will like". (Please apologize, I had the wrong video initially. The interesting part starts after about 6 minutes) Thoughts? Update: Bagofsoup didn't know what was coming when he made the video. Here is what he has to say about it now: war-robots-forum.freeforums.net/post/186363/thread

We'll only know what's for sure when they release the update officially. Things can change anytime... On another note, custom matches look sick! Epic fun ahead I'm sure! They just better not make custom matches etc attributable to a player's stats (i.e. league points, damage, kills)

I'm sorry, I can't find where he says that. Also, is he a pixonic insider or is it only speculation?

Hello,
Please, accept my sincere apologies for a delayed response.
Kindly let me explain, why the new items are obtainable only through the Black Market during 3.1. We limited their availability to reduce the initial metagame impact of these robots. Dash ability by itself might cause a huge shift in which robots are favorable and which aren’t, and we want to ease their integration into the game as much as possible. Having only some of these robots running around the live server will give us enough data to work with in terms of balancing without disrupting the gameplay too much.
Also, a new system of acquiring robots will be released in the next updates, and Dash bots might become a part of this system.
Still, I've passed your remarks to our game team. Thanks for your understanding and patience!
Best regards, Dina War Robots support team

Yes the problem being is that you hyped these dash bots up beyond belief over the last few months plus in-house testing and of course the test server. You post a Facebook post Saturday stating dash will be days not weeks and it doesn't materialize. You should have stated the limited run before this update. Why is the tempest a chest only weapon? Does the tempest effect the balance as well as the dash? The black market 2 weeks and temporary taken down for restock. Let's take a look at this, no chance of getting the super without poring tonnes of cash in. Shame, you did a really good job on the valley map but messed up with the new bots and weapons which over shadows the good.

Face it. A lot of us are going to be "behind the times" when it comes to these things. Heck, I finally have 3 zeuses and 4 gekkos. So I can finally start working on a quad gekko Patton, and a triple zeus Fury - except I don't have a Fury. There will always be someone out there who has something you don't.
Pixonic will do what Pixonic will do, and no amount of complaining on our parts will change or even influence it. Just take it as it is and enjoy the game for what it is. Heck, it's a virtual game. Why the heck would they need to "restock" the Black Market? The real reason it's 2 weeks is so that people cannot stockpile their keys over long periods of time and get more gold chests. It comes down to money. Pixonic needs/wants the money, and we will play the game at a monetary level that we are comfortable with.
If the dash bots do become available via in game currency, I do hope it's with influence points or gold. But think about this. If EVERYONE on the field has nothing but dash bots, where's the fun in that?

I had the wrong video, it's now corrected in the original post. I would think that like many other youtubers he has some contacts into Pixonic or at least chats with them once in a while or so.

(I am wearing my tin foil hat for this reply)..... I think Pix has released the Dashes this way initially to determine what nerfing (if any) needs to be done - as they have stated. Their fall back position in the event of an uproar is that NONE of the dashbots have been bought for RM like you would otherwise do through the store. A player has used the BM and WON a dashbot (or anything else that they might win). Pixonic obviously will make a lot of money from people playing BM and would not have had the same opportunity if the dashes were released normally - look at all of the posts of people who had been saving gold for 6 months to get one - no profit in that.
The other thing is that a lot of players seem to forget about the Inquisitor coming at some time in the "near" future. I think that that will be the meta bot, the replacement for the Griffin. I would be surprised if that isn't released through the store.

Koalabear I wouldn't worry about dashes being everywhere. if so that would be bad for the game. Pix knows it too. They will get a nerfing. after the nerfing I would guess that they will still be a bit better than the older stuff so people can go out and buy them but they couldn't possibly be significant because bc than as you said all we will see are dashes. they should be better to a degree where many people will transition to them but will still keep some of the older bots bc they will be relevant under certain circumstance. not sure if I expressed this well enough.
Also, they have already warned in the summer roadmap that they will possibly be nerfed.

ANY other explanation is fallacious.

Yes, this answer from Pixonic is a pile of horsecrap. I can't hear their sorry excuses any more.
As I stated elsewhere, if Pixonic wanted to limit the impact of Dash bots, why not put a one-per-active-hangar limit?
Of course, charging hundreds of dollars is a much more lucrative means, but it doesn't quite have the same effect.

Do I understand correctly that the only way to obtain influence points is through facebook? And are influence points the only way to obtain Korean bots?

After the 3.2 dash bot release and component pieces debacle, I told our Pixonic rep that I am going to be a lot more cautious next time they tell us that they are introducing some new option “that players will like.” I wasn’t too happy about that. I told them when they first said that to us youtubers, that if players don’t like it there will be a riot. I guess I was right!

bagofsoup, you're really not at fault here, you were only the messenger of a message that players did actually like. All, Bagofsoup has made a great video after the recent events that I have utmost respect for. Of all YouTubers I follow, this was IMO the most adequate response.

Wasn’t previously familiar with your work. You sir are a class act. Thank you for who you are and what you do, especially your response to the state of the game and the feedback you have submitted. While often you are unappreciated for what you do, I am personally grateful that you still do it. Wishing you all the very best sir DV

Yes, there is currently an option to buy component pieces, for example 3400 component pieces of whichever bot or weapon for $99.99. But each dash bot and Inquisitor costs 10,000 component pieces. When you calculate how many pieces you can buy, the three dash bots would each cost $225, the Inquisitor $325, and the scourge and tempest around $110 (not sure on scourge). What’s ironic is that the tempest was brand new in the July fourth event and could be purchased for about $22. Now months later, when the tempest should be cheaper, it’s gone from $22 to $110. But you can check how many component pieces you have in the black market screen under the button labeled “storage” in the top right. Or go to the robot or weapon store and find them, click on their component price, and you can see how much it costs to get the component pieces for each specific bot or weapon.
While we hear the component pieces will soon be easier to get: (1) being able to trade gold and wsp for component pieces, (2) winning more specific component pieces in the upcoming luck spin board (shown in the fall road map video), and (3) potentially producing component pieces in workshop 2.0, by not introducing these pieces right away with the new component system, it was a mistake to release the bots and weapons costing the inflated component price at that point, and charging so much in real cash for them. We will have to see if Pixonic fixes this in the next update or two.

Pilot Moby_dicIf that makes a legend.....then take a read on what I said personally to this Pixonic rep back in June. Anna Pixonic - 06/15/2017 welcome and thanks of course I'd prefer our featured or to be featured channels not to disclose internal things like criteria and quality of videos for feature. Which was a very personal thing for me to share in our conversation. but I respect your decision and you are of course free to do anything. I don't say nothing I m just hoping that my amount of openness and trust with people in this group is appreciate but maybe I should also be more careful have a great night and thanks for all your effort and attitude towards me and us : ) VivaLaResistance - 06/15/2017 Well... I realize that part would be a bit frowned upon which is why I asked about the influence points because i was going to say that regardless even if it meant loosing the sponsorship In the end, I make these videos for myself and anyone that may be interested in them. Pixonic doesn't pay me to do it and neither does anyone else. I spend a ton of time on something that could really be looked at as a total waste of time. So in the very end, no matter what, I do them for myself and if someone watches them then cool. If not, then whatever. I am not out here to make money so my videos won't be shaped by it.
