So earlier tonight I was cracking on my wife's brother who, even in his early 60's, is still an ultra-geek, and will likely be first in line for the upcoming iPhone X. Then I just took a look at it on the Apple site, and damn if I'm not gonna have to give it a good look myself when it comes out. I'll be due for an upgrade around November, even though I'm perfectly happy with my 6s Plus. The X has a bigger display, but the total device dimensions are smaller than the 8 Plus. My gawd I'm turning into a geek, too.
I wonder how War Robots will play on it.....

More to complain about War Robots with that bigger screen. Plus more convenient to type long screeds for the forums.

In demo videos it somehow "covers" the game display... 「dookie」... I'm just gonna get iPhone 8 Plus, about damn time to change out of my iPhone 6! The iPhone 8 should be pretty darn sexy in person, glass back... ohhhh good old iPhone 4 days!  |

Dunno. I'm on a 5c. A larger screen would be welcome for a number of reasons.

Without custom UI placement I wonder if the controls will be too far out. Have to crimp your thumbs or hold it by finger tips.
For the camera bezel I'd imagine if an app doesn't signal that it supports iPhone X then the view will stop just below the bezel. Otherwise controls will be cut out.
What would be really cool is an AR War Robots. I have a big table I'd love to clear off and plop Valley or Moon down.

I miss BlackBerry 10. That was a rockin mobile OS. It's the OS that got me off of BlackBerry's awesome physical keyboard. And then they went to the dark side with Android. I could not be a party to that travesty and now I'm mostly content with iOS.

I could not be a party to that travesty and now I'm mostly content with iOS. The BB KeyOne has a physical keyboard but it's running Android. |

And that bezel on the top is gonna cut off some parts of your game display.. Sucks.. Their game demo already showed that.. Look back at the keynote video. |
