It was going to be an easy win.
Yamantau. Lead with my Gareth. Capped B, ran to E. Easy cap, no reds in sight. Ran to A, capped it, took a few rocket hits. E goes red. Ran up the ramp, capped it again. Stalker shows up. Beat him up badly before getting killed. Respawn, whole dang map full of red beacons.
I'm thinking, 「whiskey tango foxtrot」.
Game over.
Big shout out to our no-show teammates.

I cannot count how many times I've capped three beacons only to turn around, see my team barely 100m from the spawn trying to long ball their way to victory while two of the beacons I had capped got flipped to red and I'm being converged upon by reds. I get the feeling sometimes that there's a fair number of players who think making it through the match with a single bot means something and don't see the potential of each bot being an individual two minute combat cycle (great if they last longer, but don't worry about making it happen).

Only way one of my bots live that long (because I'm a kamikaze pilot) is if it took 1 1/2 minutes to get within firing range. LOL

Sometimes they aren't even playing longball - they're just milling around. This happened to me in Springfield recently when the team spawned at the farm. The furthest anyone on my team (other than me) got was to the little cluster of buildings by the center beacon, not because of enemy pressure, just because they really didn't seem motivated to do so. Two of the blue bots were hanging out behind a building looking at each other, occassionally shooting a few bullets back and forth. I also had a game in Dead City where my teammates seemed very interested in where the other side of the ramp leading down from the corner beacon led to, rather than actually doing any fighting.
One might suspect that I find this kind of behaviour... annoying.

Just played a game where I knew I was in trouble in the first few moments, because my collection of randos started horseplaying and shooting each other instead of moving forward with any purpose. Yeah, that was fun.

Hi,
Tired of traipsing around, capping beacons, firing weapons, and don't mind if your team loses a match? Well, come on over and join the I'madonothin clan. But hurry, only a few thousand slots left!

Just had another WT...loss.
Capped 4 beacons... 2 at the red's spawn point, killed 2 red bots because they didn't bother to see who was shooting them in the back... while I'm standing on their beacon. All that less than 2 minutes in, and we lose.
Why? Knuckleheads on my team didn't take advantage of the chaos I was creating.
Arrrgggggg!
