Nice summary of advices. I'm struggling right now with the game. Exp II IOS, in the middle of a loosing thread that seems unstoppable, with 30% win rate, as a result of lost battles both in BR and DOM. Not sure what is going on. I feel that a solo player who has not spent a penny of real money on this game is something Pix might want to get rid of or at least convince him to spend money on the basis of continuous punishment at battle. I managed to keep my level on the basis of damage (lvl 10/11, punisher grif, DB Rhino, RDB Grif, Plasma Grif, thunder carnage (swapped from time to time for a quad aphid patton). I am becoming so aware of the situations that often times the game is finishing (we are loosing) and I still have 2 bots in the hangar.... In other words, the opposite to Danny Linguini's situation. May be I'm being too cautious at the same time (480k average damage). Not sure what to do next.....

I didn't read through every one's post but a few suggestions I have for you. Some are quick and simple tactic tips, some are coordination/planning tips.
Quick and simple tips** - As mentioned, while you are fighting the enemy, you should try liberating the beacon while finishing him off. It'll help avoid them respawning in a fresh bot and taking you out before you finish capping. - It's not out of the ordinary to go squad with other clans that are your hanger level and successful at a certain type of game mode. You can be an honorary 6th member and learn from them and see what kind of tactics and coordination they use to be successful. - You mention squadding, but if you're not doing so, voice comms is so key for BR with the fast pace and level of coordination that is needed at times to retake beacons. - I'd swap out one of the fast bots so you can slow down your meching out. I'd keep the rog and swap the gareth for now for maybe RDB/DB griffin, maybe nother rhino or even Raijin/Thunder.
Coordination/planning tips** - You mention squadding, but sometimes having a visual gameplan shared with your team members can clarify what needs to be done. Draw out who goes where, and does what. Especially in the early game where you can get up in the beacon count. - Maybe come up with tactics and assignments of who does what before you drop. Have a play caller at the beginning of each map, while using voice comms to direct personnel. Coordinate with one another. It depends on how involved your clan gets and what level of participation and gameplay you seek. - Sometimes there is nothing you can do about a bad matchup where they are just higher gear, level and bots. But just know when that happens, your at the disadvantage and that will happen in BR from time to time because of the MM.
Best of luck to you.

As others mention, in BR:
1. Get as much beacon as possible at the starting min. 2. Spawn around teammates, whereever they are (not those camping though), move as a pack. 3. Run heavies. 4. when it's 3 mins in and you already burn through 3 bots, spawn your midranger to hang around.

Top tip - delay killing your enemy to capture the beacon. When you kill, they respawn. In a shiny new full health red bot usually at the place of most concern, exactly where you don't want them to. That last sliver of health on the bot as you charge towards the beacon? That usually means the pilot is dazed, most weapons blown off and already thinking about their next mech choice. That gives you opportunities to begin capping before they die. And goddam it feels good to storm a beacon, take em out and clear the beacon in one fell swoop! The only reason I disagree with you is, if you can kill the guy while the beacon is white, 1) you rescue the beacon, 2), It's harder for them to spawn on the beacon if it hasn't turned red yet. I could be wrong, but I feel better in the hope that the enemy can't spawn with a fresh Leo Or DB and blow me to oblivion if the beacon is still white.

Happy to see some true gems of advice on this thread. I've just reached gold for the first time and spent the last few days in BR. It's brutal. I've never been fragged so much in such a short span of time. Yesterday I tried a different approach and started running an all light hangar (bots at 8/9, weps at 5/6/7(still catching up)). It was even more brutal and almost every mistake resulted in a frag. But it did help me clean up my gameplay. It forced me to try new things and milk even the slightest advantage. Frantic but fun. I think I'll stay on this for a while.

THIS HERE: Danny.. as per my own post yesterday when you said you have to take the game seriously to get joy out of the game.. (I am paraphrasing) If you take the game too serious, it drives you crazy.. because you could end up on a map with 5 of the Blue Teammates running Natasha's with Nori's, Tridents, Zenits and a Treb as I ran into this one bot of many weapons this morning.. But it is a total mixed bag.. If you take the game too serious and you end up in a match with 5 campers staying in those 5 bots until the end.. it can drive you mad.. So I just don't take it serious anymore.... If the developers don't take it serious, and are just out for cash grabs, well then I am not going to take it serious.. I am just going to play what the system gives me.. I also take the leagues for what they are.. They are basically "revenue generators" as it makes ppl feel the need to upgrade and buy, buy buy Bots and weapons and upgrade all those to make more bucks for the "system" for PIX.. So I could stay in Gold forever.. I am just gonna chill and have fun with where ever I am at, no more need to buy.. I will kill kill kill with what I have.. win lose or draw.. Why stay in gold when u can stay in bronze to git gud?
