I have no problem supporting stuff I like with my money. If nobody paid, there would be no War Robots or it would be like other "free" games: One match and after the match, enjoy 30 seconds of video ads with sound. I guess we don't want that, so I spend some money on War Robots. My point is: If you, as a company, depend on paying customers like me, you usually don't ?female dog?-slap them in their face which Pix is doing right now, with the Black Market scam. Verdict: I like to give money, but I want something in return. I wouldn't mind supporting the dev provide them little extra money to feed their kids. if I spend something, I expect the same value or more in return, not some half 「bum-bum」 of. it. The dash bot shouldn't be exclusive it should be available for everyone. What kind of 「fluffernutter」ing business model is this?

While I was somewhat sedentary This weekend, between the two dates I had, I was easily able to grind two golds. The fact that you can get a gold chest for free at all is generous by pixonic . Complaining you cannot get a super chest ( and you can, if you tried really hard at it over the two weeks) is stupid. Are you really suggesting to play something like 10 hours a day War Robots? Because that's how long it takes to get a superchest, assuming you win some keys in your gold chests. Get a life.

you can save 1k keys in one season for a good free roll without spending anything. I guess its the only way not to get frustrated If you average 3.5 keys a game (which would be a good haul), you'll still need to play 280 games in 14 days. Even if those matches last just 5 minutes (best case, br), that's more than 2 hours per day, plus time between matches. Only a very small minority of players will play that much. I can't tolerate this game no more then 10 minutes of this game who the hell would want to torture themselves for 2 hours

So if this is the new strategy of Pix to piss off their paying customers, I'll use the only weapon I have: Don't spent one single cent in the gambling area of this game. I'd bet Pixo would be ecstatic about revenues if every player would spend 100 bucks and complain afterwards.

My (perhaps misguided) logic fails to see any misguided logic in my post. Just shaking my head about how much spare times people have on their hands, and how they're willing to waste it away. My advise would be "if you want it that bad, shell out the money".

Well, thats exactly my point. I enjoy the game. enough to pay for it. I'm unwilling to sit on my 「bum-bum」 all day grinding the equivalent of what, 10 dollars in gold?
I'll skip the mcdonalds and just pay 10 bucks , doing myself the favor

100 - 400 bucks to gamble for an ingame add on ....wow.
The best thing I won was 50 Au . I never spent a cent for this occasion . Seems like a good deal to me . Winners are the players who got a dashbot and paid nothing . They have something to brag about .
You spent 100 bucks and won a dashbot well thats not winning thats overpaying for it . Why are you patting your shoulder ? You have nothing to boast about . An ingame add on for a 100 USD ?
If you choose throw money at the slot machine in the hopes of a dash bot well thats your business , dont cry if you lose , the only winner is the slot machine and you are old enough to know that fact . 1 percent of the gamers will enjoy a mega jackpot , That is also a fact .
All the bots and weapons of your dreams will be sold in due time . 100 USD will probably buy you all three Dashbots . There is your WINNING shortcut right there dude .

Of course it's a scam. I remember talking to some developers and they were saying that in the code world, there isn't a true method to pick a random number. They have to write complex algorithms to simulate randomness. I'm not a developer but that sounds harsh. It is what it is folks. Those with cash to burn will either win what they want or get burned. Personally, I spent a little too much for my own good, trying to when another dash bot, or a tempest, and even splurging on a couple of bots I'd really wanted: Lancelot and Jesse. I'm sitting this event out, just so I can recuperate a bit. I'll keep playing til I hit a 100 keys and then go for a silver chest. I will take my own advice and play within my means.

I am a developer. You are referring to the method that is used sees the random number generator. For all intents in purposes it is random, if they want it to be. All they would do is form a random number by sampling incoming network traffic. That being said, it would be random for the users benefit. However, this can be cracked. You could for instance monitor by buying large amounts of spins, or possibly by running lots of bronze spins. Then you could potentially predict the outcomes. This assumes they don't base results off of everyone's spins. (You cannot easily see how many people are spinning at a given time) So for us it is random. Now, if pixonic is rigging it, that's a different story. Here is a link about how some peeps scammed a poker site: web.archive.org/web/20110322162237/http://www.cigital.com/papers/download/developer_gambling.phpIn any case the real question is: Is pixonic serving random results to its customers, or are they serving groomed results based on payment threshold or giving a max "free " number of dash bots to non paying custs, etc etc

Thanks linearblade. I think it's best for our peace of minds for now to think that Pix is being legit and doing their best to give us random results. I know it's easy to blame someone else when you spend tons of money for no gain, but that kind of thinking will just drive you crazy. This is a game, and should be treated as such. Personally, I don't think Pix is doing anything funky. I'm not a free player, nor am I big spinner. I spent about $30 in the July event, and about $60 or so in this event. Yet, I won the Bulg on literally my second spin of the silver chests (after I spent $13 to buy 1000 keys).

How does the phrase go? "No one held a gun to your head and made you spend money on this app."

Well i think is random, based on all complains, players that spent 300$ and no dash and others that spent 10$ and got dash also others got from free gambling - that is what random is imo. Next time dont spend money to play BM, i dident saw any rule written by pix saying "if you spend x amount of $$ you get a dash or whatever you wish to win"! just saying, I dont like the BM either.

...She basically was walking down the street, meeting strangers and inviting them to have a cup of coffee at her place. In case if a stranger agreed to come to her place she most probably would seduce him and they have the wildest sex with multiple simultaneous orgasms... If one were curious, where would one find this woman?

Sorry I don't believe I am surprised by pedantic pilfering preformed by pix. When they have to give a 190% profit to get me to consider it a fair deal there is a huge difference between our view of economic fairness on this game. On this event I mistakenly bought the VIP premium thinking it would give me double keys and gold. Nope felt stupid it gives exp, which matters how to a level 30 and silver which I guess I will need when I do 10-12 upgrades. I felt cheated and mumbled that is it for ten bucks so I was not shocked when I bought keys to spin to get less and less keys till I got a mollot. And my super awesomne chest gave me a Gepard. Every time I see a deal in the store I go not worth it and move on. Any of you who buy keys say I just bought a mollot 2 for ten buck and feel the glow. '' economic fairness '' these 2nd world commies wouldn't know it, they've never lived by it. '' scam'' is in their DNA. Commies? Whoa, flashback...suddenly I'm wearing parachute pants, listening to hair metal, and watching Reagan on the big TV with the knobs.

Make the Items cheaper, and many more people will buy them, earning you more money. Selling it for cheaper is a better economic strategy.?

i bought 2 "big pack" of keys and got 1 Kumiho, 1 Haechi, 1 Bulgasari, 2 Scourge, plus others like 1 Fury, 2 Gekkos, 2 Orkans, 1 Zeus etc. Feeling greedy for a 3rd Scourge i went for another big pack. but nope i didnt get it. but i got like 5 Dash bots, for a full Dash bot hangar. 2 x Kumiho, 1 Haechi, 2 x Bulgasari.
I think the biggest prizes and goodies is from the Super chest, which i got like 2 or 3 "rolls". but overall i think yup you do need to spend quite a big amount to get lucky, 1 pack of 13,000 keys isnt going to be enough, i feel. unless you are very lucky.
