So my tablet ( Pixel C ) got the new Android 8 Oreo update yesterday. My first match after the update in War Robots I notice a problem. You will be playing the game. The screen will randomly freeze and then shake from left to right in a loop with sound. Best example I can give is, it's as if you took a video and looped the last 1 to 2 seconds on repeat. It will do that for a little bit and stop. But I'm normally dead or almost dead when it stops. It doesn't do it in any measurable way that I can tell yet. Just random.
I thought I'd use AZ screen recorder to capture the screen doing it then send that to pix. But it won't do it when I have the screen recording app up. Oddly when I exit AZ screen recorder totally then play. The problem returns. So something about having an overlay app like AZ is preventing the problem from occuring. So for now my best solution is to load AZ and not have it recording. Just the floating button overlay seems to help.

Oreo is supposed to be a full 1.0 Update. It might have compatibility issues with non 8.0 software. Maybe ask Pixonic to write specifically for 8.0 because 8.0 is kick-「bum-bum」 from what I read, if it's an 8.0 App.

Report it to Pixonic, they'll have to release an update that fixes the problem, meanwhile you can play on another device or using an Android emulator, or if you don't have any of these nor can wait till an update, revert back to Nougat.

I also have the same issue, plus a touchscreen alignment issue. I reported via bug report then again using the in-game messaging system. I was told to check the game FAQ for a solution I am running Android 8 on a Pixel C.

I was told to check the game FAQ for a solution I am running Android 8 on a Pixel C. I've found any app that has an overlay floating button seems to fix the screen shake issue. I now use CPU monitor to float the cpu temp, battery temp and ram info on my screen. Below is a screen shot of the app floating button in use on the right. As for the touch screen alignment. I've found if you back out of the app/minimize etc then come back to it. There screen seems to function as normal. I've reported the issues to pix as well.

I have the same issue on my Pixel C after updating to 8.0 (dev preview 8.1 still has same issue) Games like Vainglory, Mortal Kombat X have these screen freezes... I think it has to do with temperature/overheating... As it happens more often when I have my cover on. Also during intense gameplay/graphics this glitch presents itself more frequent. Without cover the heat can more easily flow from my tablet and these glitches are less frequent this way! Short pauses betweenheavy graphics can also greatly reduce glitch. (Or playing in a freeze cell, or winter-y outdoors ) Switching screen off and on again makes the screen return to normal and I can continue playing.

I'm on the Pixel 2XL which has Oreo 8, and I haven't had any problems aside from a dead spot in the top corner of the screen. I've heard this should be fixed in their next update, but I haven't had nearly as severe and issue as you have.

Post android 8.1 update on Pixel XL I get screen shaking when targeting opponents esp as I close the distance. Makes plasma-style precision targeting very difficult!

This is why I stick with Samsung products.
Good luck.

This is why I stick with Samsung products. Good luck. What an ironic statement. Those who have the Pixel and Nexus devices get the latest Android version with security patches and various enhancements that Samsung users have to wait many months for. How is Samsung better for being old and even vulnerable to attack? The trouble is not Android, it's the War Robots app for not keeping up. Edit: Btw Android Oreo is a beaut. Many awesome features plus battery life enhancements and whatnot. Between War Robots and a nicer Android experience I would always choose the latter.

Not sure either its pixonic issue or the OS itself.
I just downgraded to nougat after the game unplayable after the updates. BTW mine is Mi 5s Plus.
My phone runs smoothly just like before the update.
