I play bass in an unsuccessful alice cooper tribute band.
Have played a bit of guitar and classical guitar and could barely get by with keys.

I am a self-taught guitar player (been playing for some 35 years now.....). Had a band during the 90s, recorded a track for a TV show that never aired, played for 4 years in bars and open spaces, all just for fun. I have a very developed musical ear but completely wasted that talent since I went a very different path (corp. lawyer). By far, music is my best hobbie asides from cooking. When I play and I sing in private, I feel some tears in my eyes, don't know why.... I guess the same happens to the ones hearing me XD XD

I play the guitar, piano and sing. Awesome! Do you have your own recording studio? Or do you work in one? I own a recording studio. It's a professional facility based in Alpharetta Georgia. It's called Outlawsound Silverface 1176's...nice! I'm a recording engineer/studio gun-for-hire in NYC. Nice facility! What's that 1u API piece below the M610?

Its a 200 series lunch box that is proprietary API. Its got 8 212L mic Pres 2 225L Compressors and a 205L Di module loaded in it. there a stripped down version of the 500 series stuff that has the same tone, just slightly less features.

LOL, now I have this strong urge to joke around and say I main the one and only triangle. I got sacked from playing Triangle halfway through second music session at school (aged 8) I played a triangle in an jazz ensemble for a few months. all those latinjazz tracks were lots of fun on a triangle. deeeee dee dee deeee dee dee deeee dee dee .. beside this funky experience on the triangle I m playing drums and handpercussion (mostly cajon) ^^

When I got the frame, it had 2 cards in it and the guy (Speech from Arrested Development) had lost the power supply. I scored it for $200.00 The supply was another $600.00. Modules used run about $500 to $600 each. Retail value on that lunchbox is about 6k with everything in it. at over 25 years of collecting vintage and boutigue stuff my insurance adjuster has my facility covered for about $400K.

I've never seen a 200 series rack, and I used to work for Dreamhire! Do the pre's have the 2520's like the 512's or are they loaded with some other type of mojo?

Yes, 2520 op amps. its the same as the 512 but no only has -20dB pad and +48 Switch. no phase reverse or mic/line switches.

My Harrison 2824 consoles preamp section is identical to the API. Both companies are based in Nashville and had many of the same employees/designers. The pre is the same other than the Harrison uses a Jenson 115k Op amp and the API is there proprietary one. A/Bing the desk and the pres they sound nearly identical. I had the lunch box before I acquired the Vintage Harrison.
Funny, I got into this game back when my main hobby was shopping for boutique audio gear on eBay and Reverb. I was spending $500 to $1000 a month on gear! lol.. Playing War Robots even spending money on it is WAY cheaper than being a Gear Head. A level 12 upgrade is still a ton cheaper than scoring old Neve stuff. :-) This game has let me sock away 10K since i stopped buying gear and killing reds instead.

I have a little of everything so its fun to experiment. After I filled up the main bays I added a side car rack to the console. I keep most of my vocal path stuff there. Its a sickness. The Focusrite Red 7 is really popular with my clients. and of course everyone loves LA2As.. IMHO you arent a "real" studio with out it or 1176s and im talking hardware, plugin are nowhere near the same as im sure you know. :-)

Drummer. I sold my gorg a decade ago and I have a 2000 mexican strat with about 4 hours on it I rarely touch anymore. Fatherhood took all my free time away. I played mostly in the 70's doing prog stuff. Not a lot of gigs in that area unless you've actually made it but it's a lot of fun to play though. I'm a little sad about it, but I'm good with it too.
