Hi guys (and girl - the one asking if she's the only girl here) My in-game name is xXRoboTrippinXx. I'm 36 years old & live in Ga, US. I've been playing about 3 months. I'm lvl 30 & in Gold I. I was in a really bad car accident last November and sustained fractures (non-paralyzing) to my spine, face & leg. I've been out of work since so I have plenty of time to play.
I have a great understanding of the game as I've been reading the forums for a while and watching others play. I figured it was about time I joined the forums, so here I am. I am very active in the game so get used to seeing me around.. like it or not ?

Thank you. I guess I should also say a little more about in game account. I don't really spend RL money on the game but I work hard enough at events and play enough to rack up a bunch of stuff. I'm working on a DB Griffin right now.. waiting to get the 2nd Orkan from event. Right now I'm currently using a lvl 6 stalker w/ 2 mags also at lvl 6 ( still upgrading), a lvl 9 RDB Griff w/ all lvl 8 missles (my fav.), a lvl 8 PDB, & just a a standard lvl 6 Leo with thunder & 3x puns - only at lvl 5.. just to use until I get the carnage.. no interest in upgrading the Leo yet.
I'm sitting on about 40 mill silver & ive got almost 3k gold that I'm saving to open 5th spot (though I really want an Ancilot).

xXrobotrippinXx, that's exactly what clans are looking for, someone who plays hard. I had a guy join our clan that was all 12/12 ancilots, I cut him quickly when I found out he bought it all. I can't imagine the money he spent but it was not good to squad with him since he would have drug us all up to face weapons and bots that were well beyond the rest of the squad's levels. Not to mention, I have no respect for money players to the extent. Our clan has blood, sweat and tears into our hangars. And while it may not be much, we are proud of what we have and have the battle experience that's makes us all great players on our own and great teammates when we squad.

Yeh that's what I'm looking for. I joined a clan for now that usually just hovers around 400-500th. There's a few hardcore players in there but the majority don't even squad up. I always put up the most weekly points. Last week I think I put up about 850 points for the clan.
Only thing I've bought so far was an Orkan for $4.99. I though that was pretty good since I'm trying to save my gold and also setup a DB.. and I got the other Orkan coming from event.
I think I kind of moved up in the leagues to quick just from playing sooo much. I'm bouncing back & forth between gold II and gold I right now. I know once you hit gold, it begins to match you with some diamond and even the occasional expert league players. Is that for all the gold leagues? Seems like I can hang well in gold II but once I hit gold I again, I'm getting tore up by diamond players and seeing more ancilots and lvl 12 bots.
I wish I hadn't moved up so fast so I could have gotten more upgrades in before I got to where I'm at. I have a few games here and there where I can get through the match with just my RDB and 1 more bot but 60% of the time I'm meching out with 3 and even 4 mins. Left.

I lol'd at the girl comment.
And I'm always surprised at the average age of gamers. I think teenagers these days are out on the street mugging old ladies and fighting over turf. Unless it's my neighbour's kid - the child actor; he's too effeminate for turf wars. His mother hen-pecked any emerging testosterone out of that boy long ago.

So, favourite bot and weapons, regardless of efficacy? I have a soft spot for the light bots but rarely get to use them in diamond.

I prefer a support role. Probably because I don't have s Rogatka as I missed last event. I loved running around capping beacons and raising hell with the Cossack when I 1st started playing so if I had a Rog It would probably be my favorite bot.. especially with 2 Orkans.
But as I said, right now, I love my RDB. Staying back and covering my teammates as they go after beacons. I make it a point to pay attention to what my team is doing so if I see a couple of blues going after a beacon, I'm unloading middles into anything trying to defend it.. or I'm defending already capped beacons.
I just got my stalker 3 days ago so it's only at level 6 and I'm still learning to use it correctly without going in, capping 1 beacon, and dying as soon as stealth runs out..
I'll be getting the Carnage soon from event. I imagine it's gonna be kinda similar to the stalker in yearns of how you use it.. i.e. Attack and then get behind some cover to let shield regenerate just like the stealth feature.

What you describe is exactly how I like to play, and the Cossack, Stalker and Carnage have all been big characters in my game. I like to think, not just obsessively blow 「dookie」 up.
I'm on a losing streak after having 70% wins, and the main theme is beacon neglect. No one wants -22 points, so everyone is going after damage. :/ I wonder if the MM matches us with players that behave like this when 50/50 win/lose is enforced? I guess it's less frustrating than outmatching us as it has done previously.
