I watched the Live stream.
It seems Pixonic is trying to give each Mecha a survivability rating: of 5.5 seconds ..

I'm going to come right out and say it. adriannnnnn is the LAST person this information should have come from. Lets be frank, his viewer numbers are smaller than this forums (or close to the same size)... and the last time I checked not only was he going to be unable to field questions or concerns there is still no central place for pix to receive these items. You know what this is, it is pix pandering to youtubers... They have some new challenge every other week where they hand out gold and "influence"... they ask you to put up test server videos... They are trying REALLY hard to grow a youtube base, but the way they are going about it only plays to the existing customers, and a much younger demographic than the people they collect most of their cash from. I don't want to watch a video about a game, I want to play the dam game.... Shoving game related information into one of these is NOT helpful it is annoying.

YouTube is essentially free advertising by word of mouth, which is by far more capable than payed advertising that can only reach selected audiences.
I thought "adrian" had 960k Subscribers ..
Regardless, I don't feel the 2.9.2 Update will be conducive to healthy gameplay. Players disliked the rocketry buff, now they buff everything else to compensate .. Shielded mecha will now, be completely irrelevant and the damage increase will only frustrate Players who are struggling with the ranks. They'll earn less Silver because they'll more often and faster.
Pixonic really needs to consider listening to boots on the ground.

Nerfs: -Pin and Tulumbas shooting speed reduced.
Buffs: -Tempest 20% damage increase. -Gekko 25% damage increase. -Trebuchet 5% damage increase. -Spiral 15% damage increase. -Aphid 5% damage increase. -Hydra 15% damage increase. -Orkan 15% damage increase. -Pinata 5% damage increase. -Magnum 5% damage increase. -Taran 15% damage increase. -Punisher MKI 15% damage increase. -Punisher MKII 25% damage increase. -Molot MKI 15% damage increase. -Molot MKII 20% damage increase.
Punishers, Molots, Kang Daes and Nashorns deal 250% damage to physical shields.
I'm a bit disappointed with these changes. We don't need more damage in this game, it just serves to burst people down faster, and with the movement abilities the Dash Robots will bring, it is feeling increasingly like Overwatch and less likely a Mech game.

Video to long to listen to. Thanks broneknee for the summary and I will go by that.
Tulus and pins causing too much damage? No 「dookie」 Sherlock (aimed at pix)! How could they have messed it up so bad. And what about the splash radius. On a positive side of things at least they are trying to fix it.
I don't think there is a need to increase weapon strength on all those. Ridiculous. Or perhaps the path is opened for fast mobile bots. Ahhhh, hang on there are more mobile bots on the horizon.......
Ancile may be very valuable in the future and the poor Gary and gala continue on their descent into the workshop.

The machinegun and artillery buffs on the TS are a joke. Noricums did see an improvement though.

Talking about those who didn't access through your link. If I had to hazard a guess, most people would see that through subbing to him, so that's a lot. >I never thought of that aspect of it, strong point. Not only that, some videos need/would benefit from dialogue. But many, like me don't like to talk in videos/prefer not to upload my voice. In between Uni and other stuff, I can't afford to spend time editing the video to put in text cards. I am guessing many of the players are very busy students.

Talking about those who didn't access through your link. If I had to hazard a guess, most people would see that through subbing to him, so that's a lot. subscribers < views < viewers.... that last number is the only one that matters... assuming they get the info --- it would be fairly easy to skip tbh. There are better ways to do outreach.

Big thanks to bronzeknee for the summary. I'm always a bit suspicious, when the info does not come straight from Pix, but I guess Adrian is close enough to the company that this buff/nerf tweak can be trusted to happen. Odd choice to communicate important future changes via an outside party, though. Looks like by buffing so many weapons, all bots will become proportionally more fragile. That emphasises ability to move, or to keep your distance, to stay out of harm's way. So it looks like especially the traditional brawlers can expect a shorter survivability in battle. There will be counters for them in every range now whether they are shielded or not. And mid-range indirect fire buff wih Hydras and Spirals means even more bad news for them. There will likely be more Molot setups, too. With the above in mind, and many long range weapons buffed, my guess is there will be more of long range setups fielded in the future as well. I suspect Leos and Nattys will do even more of the LR work in the future due to the Gekko buff, and disco beams will become a permanent fixture in matches. Medium weaponry seems to be buffed more than the other types. That probably emphasises the role of the Korean bots even further. They are likely the ones to be used as trailblazers, because they a) can dash to avoid all sorts of support weapons and b) have now even more firepower. I have to say I like the Tulumba/Pin nerf. RDB has always been very kind to me - even before the buff it was the sharpest tool in my box - but I think it has currently too big a role in the game. Good to tone it down a bit. I feel the coming buffs are at least partially crafted with the new beacon spawning game mode in mind. It is very hard to predict the new dynamics, but I suspect the way many bots are used will change, as will the preferred weapons for them. There might be new stars as well as new dogs. And together with the new Korean bots and these buffs, we will have turbulent times ahead. It's going to be interesting.

The Tulu/PIN nerf is extremely mild and it won't be noticed. I believe the overall nerf is to add a half second to the unload time to an RDB. This is pretty meaningless with the auto reload mechanic. What I do like is the buff to the Hydras and the Gekkos. I've been trying to prepare for what I believe are the two biggest game changers coming this year ---- the Scourge and the jumping/stealth bot (I care less about the Korean bots actually). My current plan was to upgrade Hydras and Molots so I could fight at a distance. However, this Gekko buff ups the damage of the weapon to better than light hardpoint Molot levels at the 600-800m range. Since I'd rather use a tracking weapon to fight the Korean bots, the Gekkos will be added to the Hydra as my preferred weapons to handle Scourge setups and that new jumping/stealth bot. I already have leveled Molots/Punishers, but they aren't impressive against fast bots - but they will come in handy against Bulgasaris and Lancelots after the bullets-vs-physical shields buff. Overall, I like the weapon's buffs, as faster killing means faster matches. Also, the upcoming Death Match mode will be HELL if the frequency of DRAWS is as high as what I saw on the test servers and I welcome anything that gets the killing done faster.

RDB "shooting speed" is a bit ambiguous, does it mean (1) firing rate or (2) rocket speed?
(1) = burst dmg nerf. since reloading rate not affected, after the first burst it would be the same, (2) = need more leading shots, like orkan/pinata, hope it's not as slow as orkans. slowing it a little bit could be actually interesting, will demand more skills. and the receiving side can dodge them without jumping.

The nerf to tulumbas and pin is not very noticeable to me when you see him fire it. Only slightly noticeable on an all-pin set up like Patton. But no other RDB bot set up holds a lick to the Griffin, so who cares.
This is not the right kind of nerf as RDB is a different kind of beast from DB. Dps on it is not as important as it is for the the latter.
All the buff I'm ok with at first glance except for the Hydra. Stop buffing the 「neat-o」 thing already. It's not something they ought to bring into the meta.

If this buff hits, the DPS of a maxed gekko will be a little over 1k, more than a maxed treb which is 763. Yay to gekko pattons.

I personally don't like those buffs, the knife-fighters are the losers here and that is not a good thing IMO. I especially don't like the strong buff on the spirals and hydras. They have long range, they have a crazy homing, they can already deal serious damages at high level, no need to make them so powerful. They will shred anybody at distance and from cover, frankly, I find it a bit too much. Or at least nerf the homing because right now it's just ridiculously good at turning around building to hit their target. The worst is that it will not solve the lack of diversity of the game. There is still no sense to run a Gepard. The Rhino or the Raijin are still very meh for the prices they cost. I just don't see what a general buff in weapons will bring to the game expect shortening the life-span of robots, which is already not very high. This is why I clearly prefered some very specific adjustments in order to bring back some dead setups in the game (what I was talking here), and this will unfortunately not go in this direction.

Maybe a 6th slot is in the works. For influence points or event currency and at a very high price. But totally agree that knife fighting has been dealt another blow. Shame bc I enjoyed that but now the shift has to be towards long and mid setups.
