Ok guys - I'm looking for some opinions on what to do next with my hangar.

I'm currently running a Pinata Leo (7 bot/8 pinatas 9 Thunder); DB Griffin (7/ Ork+Pinatas 7); Plasma Galahad (7/ 8 mag+Taran); and a fourth slot that I fill with various entry level (both weapon and bot) support bots. A RDB Grif (6/5), Pin+Kang Leo (6/5), Spiral Patton (3/4), and occasionally a Stalker (6/various). I'm having a hard time investing in upgrading any of the bots or weapons for this fourth slot because I'm looking to slot in a new bot soon. There in lies the rub...

My current plan is to save up for a Carnage and throw some thunders on it while I save for some tridents but I'm wondering if this is the right course of action. I'm about half way to getting a 5th slot so I'm loathe to spend any Au at the moment.

So here are the thoughts that I'm struggling with that I'd love your feedback on:

1. Why are you saving for a 5th slot with you are having a hard time filling a 4th to your satisfaction? You never really use your 4th unless the match is a lost cause anyways. You really could spend that cash now and fill out that 4th slot with something you KNOW you'd like. Which reminds me...
2. I should really just buy another Galahad - you love that bot and can use all of that WSP to outfit it with plasma all in one shot! Instant gratification option!
3. Rhino's sure are popular and has some distinct advantages - is another medium bot in your hangar a good idea? Keep saving and go for the Rhino!
4. Do you REALLY need a support bot with that trident carnage?? You're a knife fighter!!
5. Hmmm...but the fujin's if played right could fit into my play style....A tri-Orkan or tri-taran fujin would be pretty bad 「bum-bum」...
6. Oh god, but what about the new gunslinger bots? They don't look that good now but, man, could have some fun with Doc...perhaps I should save up for when they're available for Au...

I'm not really the kind to try and sit back in lower tiers. My guess is that I'm somewhere around trash gold and I hope to keep pushing my hangar up into the big leagues. In case your curious as to the rest of my current average stats: 3.6 Destroyed, 442k damage, 64% win.

Anyways, thanks for reading that stream of consciousness. I hope it make some sort of sense. Any thoughts guys and gals?

5th slot is planning for the future (a must have in elite tier) and a distinct advantage in lower tiers, more bots = more damage & more beacons = more victories

A solid choice. I'm not fond of the MM penalty in lower tiers but it matters less in elite tiers

3. Rhino's sure are popular and has some distinct advantages - is another medium bot in your hangar a good idea? Keep saving and go for the Rhino!

Boa's are decent medium bots when it comes to muscle and firepower but don't expect to get anywhere quick

a good pilot in any decent support bot is an asset in the right map unless there are like 4+ other support bots in your team, then it becomes a bit redundant and less useful

very powerful yup, but I once again find the MM penalty counter productive to my current preferred level of game play

don't have any now, don't intend to buy any during event, have heard nothing but bad reviews thus far, might pick up a set once they go mainstream if they are bought with WSP since i have almost 100K WSP with nothing to spend it on...

My opinions... your mileage may vary...

1. The 5th slot will save your so many games and you can have 1 more knife fighter that will provide you an advantage in battle.
2. A second Galahad is a good choice in a replacement Plasma Rhino or Griffin.
3. With a Rhino, you will need a set of plasma or 2 orkans.
4. I always feel that a support bot is needed in those long range maps like Yamateau or Springfield. I always make sure to have a mid ranger, being a RDB Griffin in my big bot lineup or a Zeus Tulu Pin Golem in my low silver lineup.
5. A Taran or Orkans Fujin will be a nice bot for a replacement DB or Plasma Rhino/Griffin, but I'd hold off until Pix decides to release the ancile buff to the fujin from test server.
6. The swap bots are no good, the only good one is an Orkan Doc as hit and run or an Tulu Doc as a midranger.

So, temporary have 4 short-range bots

Last week I had THREE battles when Reds and Blues was campers both.

That was scary

1. 5th slot not only gives you another cat's life, but another option (eg an MRS in a KF hangar or a last ditch light bot in a Gold hangar)

5. HA HA HA no. Don't get a Fujin until you've got your gold hangar sorted.

6. Same goes for Doc as for Galahad. Slots before bots.
