D1 on Andriod and just played 4/6 Champions, 1 Expert, 1 D3. None of which are in a squad

I was in Gold III and playes against 2 level 10 Masters, a maxed Champions, and a few D2's. It's been like that since this morning. I dropped down to Silver II.

It's goofy for sure. I'm seeing a lot of Gold, Silver, and Diamond in my matches lately. Really wasn't paying attention, but one match takes almost the entire clock, and you do 500K damage (masters, champs, experts). Then the next match will take 4 min and you will have 1mm damage. They are definitely tinkering with something.

It's back to the way it was, and worse. We just had a full squad of champion players, and in 6-7 games we faced mostly diamond players, some squadded with gold players. Terribly boring for us and must be frustrating for the lower tier players.

I haven't seen a decent game in over a week. If I'm not facing Gold level players with maxed hangers then it's full squads of champions. Never seen it this bad. Can't help but wonder if the tanker's queue is really any worse.

Why don't the Legends play the Private and Bronze tiers. And leave us in the middle alone. Legends can get their 50K league points; And noobs will gain points after every match too; Everyone is Happy

Mismatchmaking happens almost every single match in higher leagues like expert,master and champions in live server. This happens less in lower leagues like gold and diamond. And doesn't happen in leagues below gold.A month ago I had bombarded pixonic with emails for three weeks about why i am getting placed in champions or teammates of diamond and gold & enemies of champions or vice versa. They did finally provided me a satisfactory explanation that since i was in expert,mm will place me in champion league match since number of players in my league isn't available at that moment so to shorten the waiting time mm places us in different league match.

It happens everywhere and I don't think it is broken. This is the new way things are. I am also hearing that privates are mixed with up to golds, bronzes up to diamond …. And so on.
I don't buy their explanation above. Assuming the LQ has a much lower population and they can match really quick in there, there is no reason why they need to do it in the NQ. And even if that was the case why chuck a diamond in with Masters. A few weeks back they were asking people to assist identifying mismatches b/c they were trying to solve the problem. What happened with that matter?
There seems to be a 4 “league level” MM selection pool in place. Its not all bad tho. I can see the following advantages
1. People get exposed to more variety. you never know what sort of a bot you are facing (spot the pro) 2. Clan squading issues goes away to a large extent. Eg a silver can very easily squad with a diamond bc the silver guy is likely to get a diamond anyway in his silver league. Its not like he will be the only silver on the battle field as would have been the case before 3. Markedly Reduces (note: doesn’t eliminate but reduces) the impact of tanking/incentive to tank. The Champion league tanker will now have much less incentive to tank. The system will automatically tank him down anyway. Not sure how some players at the top will take this because some prefer to fight opponents of the same standard. But anyhow there don’t seem to be many complaints. 4. And this could be the solution to the constant whining about tanking without the stick or carrot (pix had another idea which not many considered) 5. The MM will see to it that everyone will end up with a long term 50/50 win/ loss rate so the earning potential remains the same.
I am not convinced its all that bad. Its more like a change that takes getting used to. I was horrified at first too.

If so in a couple months you would make Champions league if you played a reasonable amount of games. the difference between the NQ and LQ is diminishing. the differences now are - MM selection band in the LQ is from L1 to L30. everyone in the same pool - because everyone is in the same MM pool game difficulty does not increase as you move up the ranks - population is much smaller - quick finishes are more common - high level players sort of spot each other and the aim is to destroy the other top guy first then mow down the rest. othertimes, matches are lob sided and finish very very quick (hence more rewards), and on a few occasions you get some awesome/really awesome matches - you don't need the high end gear anywhere near as much - IMO game play is better in the NQ as it is more intense as opposed to often smash and grab in the LQ. - more tanking in the LQ - MM does not enforce a 50/50 win loss rate
but I think the gap is narrowing to such an extent that soon there wont be much of a difference

Now that's strange. Yesterday i had quite a lot of good and fair matches for the first time in months. Not getting slaughtered by reds with higher levels, but being able to fight back and kill something was finally fun again. Well, let's see what i will be experiencing today

The MM is so desperate for players now it put 5 of us in squad in my clan against 3 others in my clan in another squad. Talk about F'ed Up.. I myself don't like the idea of fighting against any of my clan members unless it's a pre-agreed upon friendly. Killing your clan buddies who you've come to depend upon and grown a fondness of (or being killed by them), just makes for an awkward clan environment. I've been in matches where after a minute or so, people from other clans ejected from the game when they see they were fighting against one of their clan members. They'd rather just not do it. Normally in the past when I go random, I find myself fighting ALONG side members of my clan. Now, I've experienced matches where I see clan members among the reds. Since I drop my bots late (right before the timer expires, after I've scanned the field), I've been able to eject myself from such matches before the timer has expired. However, if I've dropped a bot already and have committed to the game, there's really no recourse except to press that big red button on my clan mate and then say sorry afterwards if I beat them bad, and blame Pix for the mess.

Yeah, the term "broken" is most definitely wrong. The mm was deliberately designed to be sh*tty. Only a moron wouldn't have been able to foresee exactly how it was going to work. It was designed to promote tanking and clubbing with the intent of forcing players to spend money upgrading so that they can compete against the far more highly upgraded players many of us are forced into facing. As for me it backfired. I'm not spending another dime on the game. Can hardly wait for Battle of Titans to come out and replace this game in my lineup.

From a gamer's perspective I think it's an understatement to say the MM is indeed broken, however one has to keep in mind that it isn't the people who code the game that make the kind of decisions that shape the behaviors of something like the MM. The executives who do make these decisions don't get paid to make a good game, they get paid to make money. I always think of Candy Crush... talk about a crappy game; BUT it makes a TON of cash. That said, the MM has a few primary goals. First, it must be sure to give you a beat-down on a regular basis in order to make you feel inferior to goad you into purchasing bots/weapons that will boost your performance. Second, it should insert enough high-level players(who have nothing left to spend on) into each game to soak up rewards that average players could use to purchase new bots/weapons. Now, one could assert that these behaviors are arbitrary and/or coincidental, however if you play enough freemium games, you will see this pattern repeating itself over and over. The expensive bots get all the attention but it is the MM that drives the purchases.

I just started an account on the facebook Gameroom and when I bought the Gepard starter bundle, won about 3-4 matches in a row, then I start getting matched with Champion league players, and whole teams of them! I have 3 bots, a Gep, a patton, and a Vityaz, the Vit with a Thunder and Pinatas, the Gep with Pinatas, and the Patton with Punishers. Talk about getting DESTROYED. There are serious problems with this game, as if there already weren't enough.

The matching will always put either us on the strong or the weak side . There's never any a balanced. I think pixsonic did it again and tweaked the server once again.

My hangar is 8/9-10 all knife fighters and one mid support. In my diamond 1 league I would face up to expert with 11/12 and about 1 out of 3 matches one guy on our team just go afk while the other team have easier time mowing us down. Another time we lose because our team isn't dealing enough significant damage to take out their hangar fast enough before beacons run out. There are other patterns I didn't mentioned on here. Fed up with this game. If you can't win then join them and that exactly what I'm doing.
