Dosent the rogatka have 68 speed since after the buff update? Making it the fastest in the game, not including its jump ability.

Rog is my top prospect, but I'm not sure which weapon set for it would most lend itself to capping. Maybe Taran? Sustained damage moves pretty good, but Tarancilot discourages reds from firefights more.

I often use my Natasha with two ECUs and two Anciles (everything @ lvl 9) as my first bot and go for center beacon. It's a hulk of health and provides enough protection for team mates to get a clear advantage in beacon dominance.
I have a full five slot hangar with ECU/Ancile Natashas as my personal fun hangar. Yes, five Natashas with ten ECUs and ten Anciles. It takes some practice getting used to piloting her effectively since you gotta sideways with an ECU facing the reds. But once you get the hang of it, it is extremely interesting gameplay. You are a front line terror. You are where the heavy brawlers meet each other and where the fights are most intense. You enjoy how team mates effectively use you as cover. With aware team mates the beacon dominance can quickly turn into a spawn raid. I saw dozens of team mates doing way over a million damage from within my Ancile bubbles.
Natasha is a very different approach in beacon capping. You cap just one beacon, but you're also gonna hold it for a long time. Quality over quantity. And since center beacon is important, you contribute a lot this way.

Would a double Ancile Raijin better? Much more hp and tougher shield

I've been playing for a few weeks now and I have a question. What are the thoughts on a Carnage as a capper? I've got the WP points for one. I already have a lv 7 Stalker but it's a little too squishy against most of the matches I've been against lately. And getting the Au for any of the Brit bots or the Rog is difficult at best with all the tankers I run into. Plus I can use the Carnage down the road when I can grind out enough Au for another bot. I figure the rush ability can make up for some of its lack of speed and the built-in shield would help against the early splash weapons I see. Plus its potential damage output gives me a chance at a top three spot. The carnage is not good for capping beacons. This is both because the bot is relatively fragile and because it is an opportunistic assassin. The bot is too fragile to hold beacons and your movement will be largely a reaction of the movements of the opponents. Rog => Gareth > Stalker. Basically, I prefer the Rog because it is sturdier, has more firepower, and fares better against rockets of all kinds. The Gareth is a fantastic bot but get crushed by mid-range rockets. The Stalker is a good option but the firepower leaves something to be desired.

Gary is taking a beating as a beacon capper now that at 500m everyone with a Pin or Tulu can open up and not have to worry about the reload time.

Would a double Ancile Raijin better? Much more hp and tougher shield Natasha has a higher survivability. She can walk towards a beacon or the enemy spawn while under all kinds of fire. When Raijin has its shield down while walking, it is an easy target for Trebuchets, Zeus' and plasma. Natasha doesn't care. She just keeps moving forward with the turret rotated into the right direction. The ECUs @ lvl 9 have 103k health. They don't go down too quickly. As with every single other bot in this game, there's always a possibility for a situation where you get obliterated in a matter of seconds. But this Natasha setup usually works good enough to be a game changer in some cases. Players also frequently drop games when they see my Natashas. It must be forum members who have read too much negative stuff about weird bot configurations. A Natasha with two ECUs and two Anciles is obviously not very accepted. But that's only until they realize that I'm not joking with this 2.4 million hitpoint hangar.

Honestly, just waddle over to the beacon in a heavy bot, cap it and then protect the beacon. I'm not saying to camp, but keep an eye on it and move that direction if you see a red headed that way.
A fast bot may be kinda nice on the larger maps, but for me it's not worth a dedicated spot in my hangar. They are way too fragile with the rocket changes. A lot of people say they can out run rockets, but in actual game play I don't see it happen that often. It's even harder now to keep track of all the rockets with increased numbers of RDBs blasting from 500m.

Since last update Gareth and Stalker are not that good any more. Tulumbas and Pins take them down in 3 seconds. Rogatka is the way to go now but it must be at lease lvl 9 or 10 to survive barrage of rockets

It's even harder now to keep track of all the rockets with increased numbers of RDBs blasting from 500m. it depends on the bot's special ability, it can harm the sheild bots but if you time the stalker's stealth correctly, you can easily dodge the splash
