You might want to try the trifecta of heavy weapons platforms. The Natasha is good for Trebs and Gekkos. Explain? Sadly, I have no leveled trebs. Worth the time and silver? Some say the Natasha does more damage than the Fury. The Gekkos act as laser pointers. I just won 2 Gekkos. I might go for the Trident Fury and laser Natasha combo, so 1 med range, 1 long range sniper.

"It has a short Cooldown, 5 seconds, until next charge. However, it will not be at full charge and deliver only half of its potential. It takes approximately 7 seconds to full charge." Is this true about the zeus? I've never heard it before. It is absolutely incorrect. There is no variable charge... its all or nothing. The initial lock takes a few seconds to get, but once acquired, as long as you don't change targets or turn away so that when you turn back you force the lock to have to be reacquired, you can fire every 5 secs at full power. You cannot fire before that 5 seconds is up after your shot, and if you wait 6, 7, or even 30 seconds after the reload cycle is done, damage will be the same... exactly the same as if you shot at 5 secs after.

My nat isn't really levelled enough to make a difference - but it is awfully nice tapping the gekko to see if it hits before firing with the trebs.

I don't have leveled Gekkos, just stock now. This is the part that takes skill when sniping. You should be able to hit a target when he is out in the open for a short time. What do I mean? On Yamantau, a bot is hiding behind one of the three blast shields on the bridge. You should be able to hit him when he leaves cover for a moment, and moves from cover to cover, or when he is moving about trying to get an angle on a bot and exposing himself. You should be able to know whether he is exposing himself enough and whether you have the shot. Plus the time it takes for the beam to travel so he isn't behind cover again by the time it reaches him. I consider this medium difficulty, and I can name harder shots. This can all be taught if you go to sniper school.

To type out of the box, don't press backspace at all when you start typing - if you do try typing on the BBCode side.
