I got my 5th slot already, and NO gold stuff at all. Now 5k AU (5352 to be precise) is sitting in my hangar.  iOS, Diamond2 (currently, might drop in 3), having decent fun with my RDB, Molot Griff, Cossack and 2xThunder Leos. I was saving up for anything good (was thinking of Rog+2xOrkans to replace Cossack), but now that you can _possibly_ get Rog for free, I am thinking of alternatives. So, long story short, I am thinking - if getting 5x1000 event chest is a good idea or no? How often do you get something viable, and NOT the Gekko\Aphid\Paintjob from there? Any experience share is welcome. |

I'd not recommend using gold to buy chests. Do you have a Gareth/Galahad or at least 3 Orkans already? If not, I'd get that stuff first.

Buy nothing now. Collect Au during event. Right before the Event ends see how others are pulling to see if it is worth it. You can decide then to risk your Au on spins or straight buys.

Don't get me wrong, they are effective, it's just.. I'm not getting fun while doing that. And no fun in Fury, either. |

6x Orkans
3x Zeus
4x Gekko
1x Ancile
2x Lancelots
2x Galahad
1x Gareth
1x Fury
1x Rog
1x Gepard
4x Aphids
If not, don't buy the event chests. Get yourself some Orkans.

Trust me, you will like britbots once you get them. Shields are better than no shield. The Gepard is also one of the more fun bots to play with, expecially with 3x Aphids. Once you mount 4x Gekkos on a Patton, you will see. Super annoying, and like I said, just for fun. Ancile? Where to put it if I don't like Lancelot? The Leo...But you will be buying the Lancelot sooner or later. Why buy Rog if I can get it in EventTasks for free? If you want to grind, that is. 60 tasks for a Rog isn't something that can be achieved easily. |

Or even Gareth. 3) Yeah, I should test that. But I like to see my enemy explodes 4) Need to give it second try, if you say it's good. 5) Why not? If I get the idea right - player is getting some side-bonuses for completing tasks, and if every task is finished - then you get the Rog. And 60 tasks for 20 days is not such a big deal. |

Britbots are set knife fighters. That's their only job and it's more performance over versatility.
Aphid Gepard is very fun. Play it a few time in test server and you will see.

It sounds like you have an affinity towards Griffin while not interested in any gold bot whatsoever. So I say you should start pimping out those Griffins with bling bling. Orkans and aphids galore.

Obviously, get the Rog if you're not able to get it for free.

1. No chests. 2. Brit bot (Galahad) for Plasma guns if you have them leveled 3. Orkans for DB setups in case you have a nice Griffin on standby 4. Aphids for ADB Griffin or Aphid Gep/Patton or Aphid/Thunder Leo ...later 5. Zeus If I were you I would start with Galahad + 2 Orks. That said Aphids are my "thing"  |

Yep, but you need to grind for it. Christmas event's SuperChest was about 7500 coins, I have no idea how much this would be. |

I had a Rog bounce towards my Griff in Shenzen for a beacon ... aphid salvo.. 30% HP gone as he landed... Orkans open up ... then second Aphid salvo ...dead Barely scratched my paint ... Who'd want a Rog ? |

You must understand that Rog is NOT a knifefighter. At all. So if you think that Rog is not durable enought, then: 1) you are right 2) you pilot Rogatka wrong. It's like trying to knifefight in a Stalker, head-on. So Rogatka is hit-and-run bot, you need to run, hide, jump, sneak attack and cover. It is the best bot for rogue warfare. But in a usual firefight - it's not a good bot, so if you like head-on collision - then do NOT get this bot. |

So far I see that on Facebook experience with chests was bad, mostly, and here on forum - good, mostly. However, I am horrified by the idea of winning, say, 10x Aphids and 3xFury and a Butch. because I don't need all of this. So I decided to skip this "chest" idea altogether. Thank you all the good guys for your input! Oh, and thank you bad guys and ugly guys, too!  |
