Idk some guys just like protecting home in a spider bot, I notice it a lot and it kind of triggers me when I'm capping

Most of the time mid-ranger, three bots of five are mid-rangers: griffin with pins & tulumbas, leo with pins & trident and carnage now with etc kang-dae and trebuchet. Switching them to two tridents after getting another trident upgraded.
Knifer and defensive with plasma griffin and golem with thunder & taran & magnum

I would've used Zenicums if they were, you know, good.
Still voted camper even though i don't camp until(read:never) pix makes it worthwhile.

We all pretend to be knifers, but meeting serious strong red team - something between defense and campers (trollface)

Aphids, Rockets and plasma Oh my! Knifer, though I do run midrange sometimes. Aphids are the best lol

In my HS/LG hanger... Capper/Runner.
Or maybe Power Runner is the term?
I like to start with beacons and keep the pressure off of center by goin' to their side/home beacons as much as possible. Shooting the Red Targets of Opportunities along the way, or the ones defending the beacon, is definitely a plus. I run a Gareth and 2 Gallahads in my hanger, normally, to accomplish this. I usually have one midrange and one pure Knifer/Brawler as well, but they can be changed out as the mood hits or as clan squadding may require.
HB/Last Stand I like to run more varied roles... In that tier a Patton Gecko or Molot or Punisher, Golem or Vitz with a ranged setup, heck even an arty version of one of those, are all usable (for fun, alone), alongside the Boa T/T or whatever the normal recommended setups are. If you would have put "Jack of All Trades" as a choice, I would say that for this tier level.

I play mainly knifers, but I love being on my rdb griffin. It's enjoyable to see some light bot walk past at 500m and lose half their health in Shenzhen. It's even better in yamantau because bots on center beacon can't hide behind the wall from you, at certain structures, you are exactly 500 m from the beacon, which means any one around the beacon will get smacked by full volleys of missiles and you can just hide after unloading. Not even stalkers with ability on can avoid the rdb splash damage if they are around there.

Not sure. I voted capper, as I'll often lead with the Cossack and enjoy it quite a bit, but I'm also too aggressive with it, I think because I want to get it killed so I can bring in the knife fighters. But I'm actually terrible at knife fighting... I mean... my machine is laggy during knife fights, yeah.
I kinda enjoy sniping too, but I've shelved my sniper bot for now until I get that 5th slot.

Capping is the game until you reach at least high silver, otherwise those "knife fighters" are just geppard chum. That said, I use knife fighter weapons and ambush bigger bots with my lights once beacon dominance is established.

Knifer, though I do love the trident fury.
There are different kinds of knifers though, such as Power Runners(Rhino, Galahad), Super Heavy Knifers(Lancelot), Jack of all stats(Griff), and Glass Cannons(Carnage).
I would say that my favorite knifer role would be the Power Runner. It gives the most amount of flexibility.

On android, running the thunder orkan pinata golem in high bronze/low silver and watching gepards turn to scrap when they turned the corner was a favorite pastime of mine. I've since gone up to high silver though.

Voted midrange cause I'm really having a crush on my Golem since his trident reached level 7 (8 incoming). Cant wait to try two on a Carnage

I usually start with a (gasp) aphid gep to cap beacons and harness the Reds. But I really do well with a quad pin Patton. Mid range support is probably the most misunderstood and poorly played bot IMO. When used a a "battlefield manager" it does well. The key is good battlefield awareness and knowing how to prioritize targets. And for cryin out loud, guard those flanks!

You can start the game with an aphid gep, and finish the game with an aphid gep more often than not in low silver... unless there are mag geps chasing you lol

That was (and still is, sometimes, if I am playing without heavies and penalty bots) my go-to ranged bot. Good speed, corner shooting, and underestimated more often than not... or so it seems when I play it, as they leave me alone to attack more "immediate" threats... to their dismay And yeah, if you like the golem, the Tri-Carn will do you right Mine is 6 with 2x 8 tridents... and while not the king of the battlefield, it is a good way to handle beacons that are overran with knifers, or other midrange bots that are killing my team's knifers.

This is a bit difficult to answer as I (and many of you) play solo all the time, which means I have to have a pretty balanced hangar.
Deployment is map-dependent, but usually: fast bot to cap several beacons (about 1 mins), then tridents (about 3 mins), then knifers (rhino, galahads, etc).
It may sound strange that I put a time limit, but I find that 80% of the time my team loses if I spend too much time supporting. Besides I don't like it too much and prefer to be in the fray.
I think it would be more accurate to have a graph that allows you to allocate time spent. Mine would then be: 10% capping, 15% supporting, and 74% knifing. But then again the OP is about your "favourite role."

Xactly this one Will have a special place in every silver hangar, since he ones oneshotted two reds who were trying to hide behind another (and had low health^^). I even enjoy the different reload times...those tulumbas comes.unexpected many times xD And the thunder Carnage yet doesnt work for me (only level 6 atm). Too much used to the Boa, I think...^^

That 1 shot scenario is nice! And exactly why I like both the 500m class of rockets and the Trident. So. Much. Splash.
