Am I the only person who spent the majority of their War Robots days completly oblivious to the fact that you can walk the perimeter of the Yamantu map to get behind the enemy spawn? Works on both sides (especially the side with the observatory in the distance) and it's easy to sneak through behind hills and ditches with a fast bot like a stalker, Gareth or gepard? (I use my lvl 8 Stalker and Lvl 7 Gareth to flank now on that map, works real good for pulling enemies from the fight, sneak attacking them and occasionally taking their points from under their noses or taking down a pesky sniper.

Like seriously, I figured an invisible wall was back there or something so I never bothered, only discovered it when I was chasing a stalker and he ran all the way behind our maim spawn, blew my mind at the time /)-•

Good waste of 5mins - only to be obliterated by a DB Griffin as you make the finish line lol

Yes. Wait until you discover more secrets. I won't ruin them for you, and let you find out for yourself. Once you find out more, you'll go back and try to find other easter eggs hiding in plain sight on other maps. But I feel this map has some of the best ones.

Take a challenge - do it with Natasha or even better Rhino with assault mode off.

Plus it's fast and doesn't take me very long to get there so long as I'm not spotted and pursued by another stalker or say a Gareth. (Outransfer it though and killed it) Plus I got 3 enemies to pursue me when I got back there. And that helped my team push through as well as permanently remove a couple of griffins (I'm pretty good at curve firing Aphids)

Ah, so that was you. Last night a pesky stalker kept sneaking up grabbing side beacon and buggering off when I finally got back on the ramp in a galahad, which kept slipping and sliding. I practically burst a blood vessel.

I have seen it often, tried sometimes, but for me it makes no sense because the spawn point is there and I can't fight against 3 bots alone. Maybe if you surprise a Natasha with Treb and Noricum it will be ok.

I tried the around the back once. It takes ages and you arrive at Spawn point with two Mags (or whatever your poison is) against X number of bots. not my cup of tea.

Somehow I made it with a Boa all the way to the ramp leading up to their base, and hid under it. They kept dropping Griffins one by one, and my Boa Thunder ate them up. I prolly took out at least 3 of them, and kept their entire team bottled up at their spawn. This allowed my team to get center beacon and for everyone to get into good defensive positions. I was hiding under there for a minute or two and wouldn't budge. Needless to say, the more time that passed, the more hilarious I found the situation to be.
I'd say about half the time, I can safely get both their side beacon and go around the back and get the home beacon. It tends to work better when they have center beacon, so most of their units are busy and can't be redeployed. You can also use Rhinos, Galahads, etc. and lead them on a chase through the open field, and back to your base. Sometimes, one of your blues will help you take them out so they fell into a trap.

Yamantao isn't great for bigger bots climbing slopes.
