True! that mender ability is sick, and remains the best imho.

I suppose Tyr heals are more of a secondary feature between brawls and the Mender primary role is mid-brawl heals.
I like the idea of Tyr, but cannot argue with that powerful mender support mid-fight!

I started with a Weyland.
Contrary the complaints I heard, almost everyone came to my green circle for healing.


Some of my thoughts on Level 9 Weyland:
Upsides:
• It can heal teammates.
• It's a tank, it can dish out huge damage and it can soon come to survive lesser Ao Juns.
• It can use an Ancile to partly shield members as they heal. But due to energy weapons I had to cut teammates off (and their ability to fire back at the reds) with my own Weyland's body in order to reliably heal them.
• It can climb! It's even possible to climb over and shoot over the top of various in-game obstacles. You can climb some tall towers when sniping too.
• It has pilot skills that improve it during healing mode.

Downsides:
• THE BIG ONE: Teammates can get caught on it's spider legs, which can cause them to get stuck and die to enemy fire they were trying to avoid. Happens to Ares especially. If you are not careful, it's possible to kill more teammates than you heal.
• It's slow. It's hard to be a mobile healer. Walking up to a person and giving them a healing circle can force them to remain stationary until they are healed.
• It's stationary while healing.


Some of my thoughts on Level 9 Mender:
I find Mender to be a better fighter than Tyr, and a much better healer.
Being able to run to teammates and uninhibitedly heal them in the heat of battle is a huge plus. Not tripping up random teammates with Weyland's legs is great though.
It can also hide it's tiny little body behind other bots/titans and shoot from the sides. Excellent for short clip (Shredder/Pulsar) and auto-recharging setups like shotguns and rockets (Cryo/Tulumbas/Orkan), as it can take cover while recharging it's weapons.

Also, it's fast enough to cap a beacon or two if launched first.

There are Pilot Skills that recharge it's healing support ability (Deft Survivor) and module ability (Foolhardy Quartermaster) at 50% health.


My Mender is only Level 9 in Champion League and it can get hurt hard by high damage at point blank bots like Leeches, as well as multiple reds focusing it, but with enough skill it can often still double phase shift / double heal it's way to victory.

I actually run Phase Shift so I can dart across the battle and heal other / stranded teammates.

Manni once dubbed the Mender a Mini Fenrir.


Until the Nightingale arrives, Mender is currently my healer of choice.

I used to run a very lethal Avenger Weyland before Mender.

Nice perspectives on Weyland and Mender. I never really liked the idea of a healing tank, but I suppose it could have its benefits in the right scenarios.
My next WS grind will either be Blitz or a healer... and for healing im still on the fence between Mender and Tyr...
I do not squad very often, my clan has been largely inactive, so that is the only reason I was considering Tyr for a more generalized "support", rather than healer focused bot slot.

but, idk. any Mender vs Tyr advice for a mostly lone wolf player in Master 2/3? Question to anyone really. @??? ?????   


Hello! Another impressively old school hangar still rocking in Champ. very cool! I do not think I have seen so many Avengers in one hangar, 7!!! I can see in general, someone is a fan of the heavy weapon slot! hehe. Out of curiosity, how do you feel your Tyr is fairing, since its still low level and you champ league...?

This hanger allows me to drop:
A beacon capper - 1st bot
A beacon con-tester - 2nd bot
A beacon defender
A heavy damage resistant brawler
A Titan killer - 3/4th both

This is the hanger set up that I am currently playing in my main game.

I have been collecting the different bots for the past few years. I now have 45 in my collection.
The latest edition is the Loki. I built it in the WS and changed the paint because I picked up the blue skin in an event.
I Only have one Hanger deck, so I change out my bots often. I think this is a good thread.

Loki omg isnt this bot annoying? Lmao, thing looks like a chicken running around and if you don't have a quantum radar it is going to poke and stab you. One game, in team deathmatch 1 remaining red deployed Loki as his last bot,it was full 3 minutes of "catch that chicken!!" Nobody could kill it nobody had a quantum radar. I laughed so hard!!

Hello everyone ! Heres my both hagars deck 2 is my main BR hangar which is play almost 85% times and deck 1 is my fun hnagar for dom/tdm been playing War Robots since Walking War Robots times from 2015 never spent single penny on game was using everything mk1 lvl 12 until the mk2 overdrive came ? i love to play with defferent set-ups and bots and dont have any premium modules cause i personally dont like the concept of it buy them with gold and then upgrade them with silver..? i know premium modules make effect but that's the way i love to enjoy my game also completed 16k victories yesterday i know too much lol but i used to play alot 2-3 hours everyday since last one year i play max one hour somedays 30 mins only for daily tasks just trying to enjoy my time with friends i made with all around the would because of War Robots ?

hehe thanks sir ? yes Smiles still around but not that active as it was once everyone pretty much busy with real lives and seeing all the changes many vets quit the game some still playing here and there just trying to enjoy while we can ??

^^^ if you are truly F2P since you started, I am very impressed! That takes dedication, and with the cost of upgrades at your level, it must take foreverrrrrrr to save up! IDK how you do it. I splurge on premium when it is discounted, but as I have been about 90% F2P since starting, I know the normal Ag grind, and it is painfully slow, even before the payout nerf!

probably before my time, when I joined was right when they consolidated their ranks into its current iteration. whenever i squadded with them, rarely did we have campers. Those I usually squadded with were in fact often too aggressive, haha. Glad i missed out on their camper days!

hehe spawn camping, i see it all the time in death match (and any arena video game really). nothing new. fun times
