Some of you may respond with a: Well Duh...but.
In Rome today, I was running Loki for some mid-game mayhem when it dawned on me. Unstealthing Loki is very much like Talons Out* on Falcon.
More than just a 1-bot Benny Hill show, it can be a rather deadly assassin. My Loki kills include Kid, Ao Ming, Leeches, AJs, Ares, assorted others and many Lokis.
I can’t wait to replace the 2 place-holder Pinatas w proper Rimes.
*Because Falcons don’t have Fangs.

Yeah. While your focus should always be beacons with Loki never miss an opportunity to backshoot anyone who seems unaware.
"I'm gonna head over to this side and cap a bea - Oh! Here's a little something for you, buddy! BAM! Ok, that was fun but back to beacons now."
The other day I saw an Arthur who must have thought he was protecting a beacon but was standing just outside the circle shooting at my teammates. I snuck up behind him, stole his beacon and then started blasting his unarmored backside. He was so focused on his targets that I was able to shoot, reload and shoot several times before he noticed me. I took a nice little chunk off his health.

I suckered a Loki into unstealthing once by just stopping and standing still, not trying to chase it. Dummy unfolded its weapons in my field of vision and I smoked it.

Also oldschool guns without fancy magic abilities are hard for most people to notice as well. That or Gusts suck so much people don’t notice getting shot by them

Also, I want Kills credit when I force a Red player to ditch a bot to defend a beacon I’m about to turn. I’ve had matches where I’ve forced upwards of 10 ditches to stop my beacon grab. In other news, thinking about this because of Loki’s Ad RH skill.... I’m really surprised that more clans don’t give up 3 beacons and run Adamant skill-heavy hangers. DR, damage, healing and especially speed would make a mech out much more likely. I’ve seen a couple of em do it and tis brutal I tell ye.

If you go wide enough the eye marker disappears and reds lose track of you

Get a 6-man Squad, hold 2 beacons vs 3 to trigger the Adamant skills, beat the snot out of the Reds for 8 minutes, and if they haven't meched out yet, 4-cap them for the win. Could see CB in a Clan vs Clan match staying white almost the entire match.

Halo Loki turned out to be a Team Deathmatch champion. Loki was rather durable and could go surprisingly far using Advanced Repair Unit, and it was even able to finish off reds while limping and near death by exiting stealth at corners and corner shooting with it's remaining weapons, then re-entering stealth. The most efficient kills were backstabs (at point blank), though. The amount of time and preparation it took to actually setup / lure / kill a red also resulted in some very poor damage counts in the end. It's arguably no longer viable (or generally possible) due to the prevalence of Phantom and Leech, but it might be worth recording and posting a successful match to YouTube.

Hold off on shooting the other guy for a second or 2. That way when you do and he notices you, you can return to stealth immediately instead of taking the damage. I count on the loki transformation delay when targetting them. I bait them to come out of stealth and take FULL advantage of them unstealthed. I picture them trying to run away something like...
