Hi All. We have summer over Christmas in Australia and where I am from in South Australia it get's real hot! For example today is 44c (112F). It's been a hot week all round with the temp getting over 40 every day and a whopping 45C (114F) forecast for tomorrow. Lucky we have good air conditioning. Evenings are great for drinking, pool parties or down the beach with it being around 30c (86F) during the night.

Well on Friday our high is predicted to be -22F with lows in the -30’s. Guess I may have to retire my sweatshirt and put on a coat for the weekend!

Hopefully you are far away from the fires mate, looks crazy down there at the moment. Up here in Denmark it's been a very mild winter so far, I think only one or two nights with frost (below 0C). Mostly its grey, wet and between 5 and 10C these days.

Now 44 C forecasted for melb too. But must say that SA is hotter. Some idiot is bound to light some Xmass fires.

Not much here in the winter!

Feels like -20C where I am and it's not even officially winter yet. We in the north have a saying: Winter is coming!

We only get a spit of winter most years. Today, our high is 53f (12c) and our low is 28f (-2c). I was born too far south of the Mason Dixie line to be this much in love with cold weather... but it is what it is.

24F (-4C) at 10:07 p.m. here, getting down to 19F (-7C). That's unusually cold for now. Just a good thing there's on precipitation or we'd be buried in snow. That said, we don't often have a white Christmas. That's more like end of January / early February with one big hit mid-March just for 「dookie」s and grins. I'm in the mid-Atlantic region of the US and we're getting an arctic blast over the next few days. I hate the cold.
