You can now get a fully decked out Ao Ming for only $1750. Ho, ho, ho! BTW, I mentioned in another thread that if you do want to get the upcoming operations pass, you might want to hold off on purchasing it until January. That should put some additional economic pressure on mail.ru for the present quarter which seems to be the only way they give better deals.

Yes, I’ve had a ‘60 minute’ advert for 15Pt ALL DAY. Sod off Pix!

For once I actually have to disagree with you. I’m seeing quite a lot of Ao Mings in hangers lately. Seen 8 just tonight.
I was thinking great pix is already making out.
Also I’m with you in that I’m not getting premium or op pass until pix fixes this game. I’m going on strike. No cheap gold deal. Nothing Nada. I am now running my 2nd hanger as my main hanger so I don’t have to drop my titan.
I’m just not going to participate anymore. Pix went to far this time.

I’ve seen very few Ming’s.
I’m sure they will pop up, but a few thousand bucks of earnings won’t cover expenses.
They will need to sell thousands to break even. I don’t see thousands

I don’t see thousands Yup, Titans represent a huge investment relative to Leech/Phantom. Map redesigns, new scale of bot and weapons, etc. vs. a modified Spectre w fancy FX ability. I have no numbers, but guessing that the revenue pace is not even 1/10th of the loot box purchases for phantom leech hangers. Titans are a test of how many true whales Pix has. Many of the players we call whales only spend $50-100 a month or so and spend it wisely (which buys a LOT of content). The true whales will stop at nothing to buy their wins. Also Titans are the platform for future near-limitless spending. Picture 3 Legendary pilots, double premium modules and new weapons...easily $10k per Titan worth of future investments. Edit - I don’t see enough true whales to make this investment worth it for Pix from an ROI standpoint.

I expect to see Pt loot boxes - guessing in 50, 250 and 500 increments. MAYBE 100, 350, 700. Expect them to be as rare as winning a full Leech or Phantom. I.e. it will still take $100 to “win” an Ao Ming.

When they buff, and regular bots can’t hurt them.....pressure is now on, lol

A little off topic...
But you know what I like best about the Titans? I like that Vengeance gun on top. I like how it comes down and then the heavy pow pow sound. It reminds me of Tempests and kinda makes me want to dust off my L10 Tempests and level them up some more.
Other than that...meh. My Kid Titan is just an extra bot that I play like a mobile gun turret. No emotional attachment to it at all. I've only seen on Ao Ming so far. Sure, it got me, but that's because I was caught in the open with my Ao Jun and that Ao Ming soaked up everything I could throw at it. For a hot air balloon, it can take a pounding!

The heat is on from consumers everywhere to get rid of “gambling” from online games.....I suppose we shall know soon enough how Pix will open our wallets with Titans-unless one joins our 500 club first! Membership is guaranteed free!

Dunno. Dun care. Not spending a dime till they balance the game and fix the bugs.
My premium just expired, and I have about 1m in silver.
I guess I’m punching in to get the plate, and that’s it

I guess I’m punching in to get the plate, and that’s it Yup, running my heavies for the 3000 top dmg task, then a little more with fun and different bots (mostly lvl 9). I think I finally have a hanger where I can judge the relative impact/fun to play factor of bots at lvl 9. It’s really hard to do that w 1 bot in an otherwise 12+ hanger. The vote is still out on Tyr, so damned fragile vs AJs. But I’ve now played Loki enough that I’m thinking of pushing that one up the food chain from pesky mayhem maker to cold-blooded assassin. Running a Rime and 2 Pinatas atm; 3 Rimes would make that thing pretty deadly.

First its expensive to get the impatient I gotta have it now crowd, then drop it a little for the ones that almost took the bait before. In a little while it will be 50% off and some other random ways to get it. After we all get some they will have to put out new OP stuff so the must have now crowd can spend and the cycle starts again. Nothing new under Pix's Sun.

I am all for people doing whatever they feel they need to especially money wise. Myself I am going to play all my bots available as long as I am having some fun and when not I turn it off. Peace out and happy hunting!

Just saying people are still pissing away money on non essentials all around me. I do know that the rest of the world is hurting more right now but even in bad times some forms of entertainment do pretty well as people want distractions. Anyhow I noticed in another of your post you have something to do with credit card processing for work so I am not doubting the trend you see (I respect your word) just on where people still spend and that not all the world is in a recession at least not yet! Peace out.

Maybe Pixonic is estimating they have about 1-2 years of life in War Robots and they are making push to squeeze out as much money as possible before they have new game(s) going. But to be honest I'm surprised they haven't rolled out anything new already. I would have tried to have 2-3 titles by now to diversify the revenue flow.

This is very reminiscent of 2009. Pixonics pricing crash seems to correlate to. What I’m seeing. So I’m wondering how much of tbis is burnout and how much maxed out. I suspect it’s alittle of both. Time will tell, but my suspicions are well noted. The brothels where I live are also thinned out. As I live in a redlight district and rent rooms to foreigners (and a fair amount of local students. Go figure lol), I’d say the recession is definitely here for at least Asia. I suspect the states too, but not too many Americans here anymore to make a definitive determination on that one.

My feeling is, from personal experience running games in the past... 1% pays for almost everything. 10-% pays something. So pixonic is. Probably saying “screw the 9%” and let’s go blue whaling. They are searching for the ceiling. I’m very interested I. How it turns out, because I may want to run avideo game again in the future

It's crazy to think that they don't have a longer term plan for the game. I mean, friggin' Eve Online has been going for what? Over 15 years now?
And yeah, it's weird that they haven't capitalised on their IP to make new games. Off the top of my head, they could easily have developped a RTS game set in the War Robots universe - how much effort would that have really necessitated?
