So what Kid-related tips and tricks have you discovered so far?
One I have stumbled unto is to avoid using Full Action unless you are being shot at. It makes you twice as hard to kill so it’s best to wait until you are being fired upon before using it. Make sure to stay next to cover so you can duck behind it during cool down.

Oven is 100m radius, so don’t hit it until you have enough biscuits to bake

Until the weapons are leveled up higher, it is better to drop Kid into a zone on the periphery of battle
Upgrade weapons first
Don’t drop a Titan as your last bot, in case you have to get beacons to save the day. Drop it in earlier in the match so you have regular mechs left to continue combat with more mobility
And as always, using cover during weapon reload helps the combat longevity of your Titan.
So far what I’m seeing is people just walk around in the open without a care in the world, activate Stove when nobody is even within the heat zone, fire at the wrong targets (ones you can’t really damage), and also waste ammo firing at targets that are not even in range. Do the opposite of these things lmao

Kid is designed to be an offense-styled Titan, so Full Action ability can be used to decrease incoming damage, bring up the Alpha weapon, and rattle enemies with 'em, but do not overuse the ability. It's practically used to become aggressive and dangerous at the same time, but it can still be brought down. Remember that the default weapons reaches 500m max, so don't blind fire. Stove is 100m, so use it to burn enemies around you that are close, face huggers, and Stealth bots. Absorber robots are also vulnerable.

So far what I’m seeing is people just walk around in the open without a care in the world, activate Stove when nobody is even within the heat zone The positioning of the Stove button is terrible. It's in the exact spot where I normally place my thumb to control what direction I'm facing. Given it's right above the weapon button and to the right of the ability button, I doubt I'm the only one who uses the space that way. End up accidentally activating it every dang time I spawn into my Kid. Would have made a lot more sense if they had placed it where the Module button normally is. I imagine that means there will be active modules for Titans somewhere down the road (surprise, surprise) but it's still a poor design decision. Could have put it all the way down to side of the weapon button or somewhere a bit more out of the way. I mean it should be pretty obvious to the devs that that space is going to be used by folks playing thumb-style on a phone. The lack of testing they do on this stuff beforehand is absurd.

It's a good bulldozer. Push them little bots around like a bully in the school playground.

So what Kid-related tips and tricks have you discovered so far? My favourite is Roast kid with anchovies, rosemary and lemon Serves 12 (heavy bots) 900, 000kg of kid, cut into large chunks (about 3m x 3m) 4 tablespoons of thermo nukes sea oil and fresh lubricant for seasoning. And yes anchovies, rosemary and lemon too 1 silver booster finely chopped. 20 key boosters shredded 1 road hog pilot skill, cut into thick slices 100L of BP oil

I like my kids. One of my kids quite likes his kid but doesn't play with it much. I don't think my other kid has ever played with his kid. Does that make him a bad dad? I've never played, or even ever seen, either of their kids so I'm starting to think that might make me a bad Grandad?!? It's all very confusing. Maybe if my kids were a bit older, they are only 10, they would treat there kids better ?

One thing worth noting: Stove can shoot down Ao Juns that stray to close. Was hilarious when it happened.

I heard Kid bypasses damage resistance making him useful against tanky robots. Does he always do that or just when his ability is on?
I know he himself has damage resistance when he's firing his main weapon.

If-no, when Pix makes Titans nasty strong, for a price, I’m sure a fast Kid will be a joy to drive. I’d like to know more, or try out, the rocket weapons and see how good the splash is on these. I remember when Tridents were nasty pre nerf, and I had a T Fury......always got at least 3 kills with that. Imagine a Uber Trident with 100m splash!
Hell yeah!

My TT Falcon still gets more kills than anything else I use.

Calling Kid an offense-style Titan is deceptive, as the main gun is not even available 100% of the time. The other two Titans can get the full damage potential out of their Alpha weapon(s). Ambush-style is more accurate.

Staying near cover is key. Even though the Kid is relitively slow, being able to mosy behind something makes it last a bit longer. There are a few walls etc. where the kid is completely in cover but when the flip up weapon is activated, the guns barrels pop up over the top of the wall. This allows the Kid to cycle the weapon and stay under cover. Then if a regular Bot runs up around the wall to take a few shots at the Kid, the lower guns are fully loaded and can spray lead at the Red. This is my Kid in all it’s clunky glory.

I know he himself has damage resistance when he's firing his main weapon. If you upgrade the Core, it has DR mitigation properties. At level 1 it is 5% of DR ignored. Maxed upgraded Core = 35% of DR is ignored.

The Kid is obv not the best Titan and has its issues... but played with the idea that you are NOT a tank, it works better than thinking that they are like an Abrahms M1A1 going against 18th Century weapons.
BTW... these are good tips.

Yeah I'm actually finding that my Kid is quite good usually, even if unleveled. Just needs to be played properly.

Following up from this: I decided to level up my Kid and the machineguns rather than go for Ao Ming and/or other guns. I'm all about brawling and Kid is the best "brawler" of all the Titans I think.
