We all are not quite sure how the "meta" will proceed, but I think we are all comfortable to say that the default Leadhose Kid is not even close to effective. I'm mostly F2P (Google Rewards funds most of the money I spend on this game). I'm thinking that the way to proceed is either keep the Kid and put on the rockets, or keep the machine guns and save for an Arthur. The Full Action ability on Kid is not long enough to fully empty the Vengeance magazine. I figure the volley off the Tsar is better suited for the ability-only use of the Alpha weapon on Kid. Whereas, Arthur has all weapons always at the ready and is not linked to ability. And since it's a brawler, it might pair better with the machine guns than the energy cannons. The way I see, energy cannons go on Ao Ming, rocket launchers on Kid, and machine guns on Arthur. Obviously not a law, just identifying the optimal pairing.
Anyway, I can't decide if I should save for rocket launchers for my Kid, or go for the Arther. I guess the question is, what will be more effective--Arthur's tanking, or rockets' damage? Ao Ming is simply out of the question right now. I didn't really like it on the test server anyway.

I am going for the rockets myself, I think they are cheaper and pair pretty well with the kid.
Or maybe the ao ming, not too sure yet.

I did the task oriented upgrades, but I’m probably going to save Pt for quite a while before I make a decision on what to get. I’m working on the assumption that the first titans will be the worst titans, and by the time the next ones are released I might have saved enough to get one or at least make an informed decision. No time constraints for upgrades as mention in other threads.

Can you explain how you use Google awards in War Robots? Do I click on an item and Google awards is a pay option? How does it work exactly?

I think rockets too. I'm thinking keeping my arm machine guns and putting a rocket launcher on top. What are the costs for weapons?

Just saw Manni’s video where he spent 15000 pt ($2000) and got one titan to level 50 plus maxed rockets, another titan to level 34. The maxed Titan is level 150. can someone find out how much $ it takes to maxed a titan, I am estimating around $4000. And of course it will walk around destroying everything else. If you’re f2p like me, how long will it take you to save up 30000 pt? The release of these titans is changing War Robots to a rich man’s game. The rest of us will be just targets for them to shoot at. The one major weakness for titans are beacons, that’s why everyone wants the ao Ming. years ago I created custom games with my clan where I run 1 maxed ancilot vs 6 under leveled Cossacks, I already know the outcome of those games

Can you explain how you use Google awards in War Robots? Do I click on an item and Google awards is a pay option? How does it work exactly? The app is Google Opinion Rewards. I have it on Android, and it looks like is also on the iOS App Store too. Google Play Store: shorturl.at/vyBHR iOS App store: apps.apple.com/us/app/google-opinion-rewards/id1227019728#?platform=iphoneYou complete very short surveys on places you go or sometimes on online activity. It's all connected to my Chrome profile and my Youtube profile. I might go to the department store one day, and the day after, I get notification of a survey of my activity. It asks if I visited a certain store, I say yes (or no if I didn't; sometimes I visited a store NEXT TO the actual store it is asking about), and what my activity was there. A "no" answer almost always pays out $.10. Yes answer pays out higher with followup questions. Bigger payouts are when they ask me to leave a review on Google. If I stay in hotel, Rewards will ask if I will leave a review. When I do, that payout is usually over a $1.00. They're not big payouts, but it's easy to do since I just go about my daily routine, and the survey can be done on the go. (I can or cannot confirm that I have done them in my car sitting at a redlight). PS, don't lie for a higher payout. Google DOES send out surveys on fake places to keep people honest and will blacklist you if they catch you. The payouts are small enough that it is not worth lying about it. If you happen to work at or near a place that they survey about, then you're golden. During the US tax season, I work in a tax-prep office that is on the survey list. After every work day, I get a survey request on my "visit" that is $.10 - $.15 per every day I work. I answer "yes" that I visited, and "no" I didn't spend anything. It doesn't fell like a lot, but imagine that every 2 weeks, you had enough to buy the $.99 deal on War Robots for 600 gold. I can't buy bots with it, but my gold stores have never suffered for too long. I can usually get around $5 per month. Sometimes less, sometimes more. The Play Store pays in Play Store credit, which makes it easy. When you buy something in War Robots, the Google Play pops up to prompt payment. You can check a box to use, or not use, any Play Store credit you have. You can use it for anything on the Play Store; music, movies, games. I just chose to spend most of mine on this game. I'll supplement it on occasion. iOS looks like it pays in PayPal credit.

I think rockets too. I'm thinking keeping my arm machine guns and putting a rocket launcher on top. What are the costs for weapons? 500 for each of the rockets, 700 for dragoons

What is with people running low level equipment and concluding it doesn’t perform well?
Leadhose Kid will be really dangerous once everything is leveled up more.
If you only have one hangar and one Titan, using the dragoon type titan weapons is not ideal for small maps
The rockets are the most powerful
The cannon hits hard
Unless I win free titan weapons, since I won’t be spending any money on these, the path ahead is clear. Kid already has high hp, while the guns underperform. So upgrading the weapons first is the best route, and this will take some time only using free (earned or won) platinum. Since I mainly play my usual gear and rarely lose all my bots, I’m not in a rush to upgrade something I barely drop

So I think my plan will be as follows: Step 1: procure rocket weapons for Kid. Step 2: procure Ao Ming. Move kid to ranged hangar. Step 3: procure goon weapons for kid. Move rockets to Ao Ming. Step 4: Step 5: Profit!

At this point in time, since the Kid was a “Gift”, I am using the Platinum that I earn to upgrade the Vengeance. I am not planning on spending any real $$$ on it so it will be a slow lumbering process. Speaking of slow and lumbering.... how about that “Kid”. It’s slower then a snail with a bum leg. I do however find it amusing when I bump into things like the center beacon on Moon. I was like,” come on man, now I have to walk” .... then I noticed that my green cross hairs were lined up on a red square. So I pressed the fire button and that sweet red X was lighting up. I have no clue what kind of bot was on the other end of the tunnel. But I lit that red up and it just melted. I was all hell yes, this is gonna be fun. As more reds walked in front of tunnel opening I was just blasting them. Here’s a tip. That flip up gun will just shoot the top of the tunnel, so don’t waste your time with that. The end games when it’s mostly kids running around shooting at each other is almost like slow motion War Robots. And the “TITAN SLAYER”. Nice touch Pix. That’s a warm fuzzy especially when you take one out with a puny Ao Jun, from behind. Big stupid robot...take that!!! The flipping death through is one of the best.... right up there with the spiders loosing their legs. All I can really say is, Thanks for the free bot Pix. It’s big, it’s slow, it gets stuck in stuff, it farts flames. It even has it’s own intro music, as though there was some ominous foreboding kind of thing about to happen. But we all know it just a big stupid robot.

Does anyone know if you buy a new titan/weapon, is it possible to sell the old one and if so what the return is?

Since the purchases and upgrades are instantaneous, Iâm going to save platinum for quite a while until a certain titan & build kick 「bum-bum」, then Iâll wait for the next set of titans and evaluate...
Then Iâll keep waiting until the giant Mender titan is released and I should have a LOT of Pt saved.
