What a moron. He’s totally doing it wrong. Center button mash? No way man, you gotta cycle em so you can have non-stop rain of irritation.

I ran into a top clan guy who was messing around with this setup, mk2 with Lockdown Ammo. Suffice to say it was a menace.

I bet they are decent at 3-500 range I remember being quite impressed w a skilled Nori fighter. 4 maxed on a GI and he was hangin right at min target distance and those things fly pretty fast. This was prob 1+yr ago and he did ~800k damage iirc. Back when 1M was GOOD rather than the norm it has become. But I don’t think zens have the same quick velocity.

It's nowhere near META of course... but if they know what they are doing I don't get mad at a 4x Nori bot on my team.
I found this out while raising my iOS account from Toddler status. I had initially thrown Noris on a Jesse (this was after they changed the behavior of the Nori's flight characteristics and splash to what it is now) as a way to do some subtle league management (before I just stopped giving a ?dookie?) and ended up still placing in the top 3 while in the same bot the whole game. I would take beacons and then play hide and seek (Jesse was close to the top of the speed list back then) while peppering folks with Noris. Granted this was in Diamond league... but I was up against folk in much better gear and I should not have done so well according to the thinking of the time re:Noris. You don't have to lead too much at that distance and the splash is pretty damn good if you do miss a little. And they would pop Anciles like soap bubbles in seconds. I have NOT tried it recently but if I did I would shoot for a similar play style... harass and support with any bacon grabbing that I could fit in.
However, as to your original point... Zenits do NOT have the same behavior and will still be pretty sucky at shorter ranges... unless you are targeting mostly stationary bots or, even better, stationary groups of bots.
IMO, YMMV

I bet they do ok on Ao Jun. The main problem with them is the speed of the bot carrying them, not so much the weapon (although they are bad dps) I thought possibly a Lancelot with tulu might do ok as well. Haven’t tested it tho

Random thought: I wonder if a good, coordinated squad with a lot of cryo weapons could make use of a well versed Zenit user...

No. Because the duration is 5 seconds and the transit time of a zenit drop can be upwards of that range. Not to mention, you have to stick them perfectly by timing your missiles to hit enough to actually freeze. So in air missiles and freeze when they are close. Hella coordination. And that’s out of my skill set. Even then, you could just lay into them with some punishers and out do the damage.

ⓣⓡⓘⓒⓚⓨ48Best use of zenit would be on a faster bot that sits in that sweet spot range and forces people out of cover I used a golem like that on spectres. Noricum / tulu / avenger. You harass them out of cover and shoot them with the avenger. It was remarkably effective. If I was to use zenit, it would be on a rayker, with likely shredders

I could build 4 of these for my Butch for rainy days. With the ability, you can fire endlessly.
It takes 17.2 seconds to unload zenit. Butch's ability cooldown is 20. Lines up pretty nice to fire 2 zenits nearly non-stop.
Only thing is my butch has a single ability, the -20% recharge for trebs, so I wouldn't have anything for it.
Cycle damage at lv8 is 32k, or 64k per cycle with 2. It's actually more than trebs which do around 13k each.
Lv9 takes it to 35k or 70k.
Lv10 costs 10M a pop, which is a lot.
Out the door it's like 21.6M for a quad set of lv8 zenits... and 11-12 days to skip with ads...it's not exactly important

I have seen a couple of these in champions league believe it or not, everytime I see that trail in the sky I just think: "Why am I fighting players in bronze league?", but they're usually mk2 and hurt a lot if they actually hit you... key word being "IF".

Alright, now that 5.6 is out and OE is gone, I think I'll have to go forward with the Zenit Butch before I run out of surplus AG for good (32M)
I'm gonna toss 4x lv5's on now and just troll...

Last night, two battles in a row. Saw it raining zenith splatters. Looked up and saw the same Behemoth commander. Made a beeline and took him out both times. As a fellow big boy user. Zenit is not the way to go. Now the flux one with Lockdown Ammo the other day.... yeah, he got me.

Heh, slightly off topic but who here played Robot Warfare? Very similar game to War Robots but artillery weapons were firing little bit more flat (which made them faster) and slightly more powerful. So after somebody annoyed the heck out of you you'd drop your own arty build and have this side to side running battle with them. One of the few things in that game that were more fun/funny than in War Robots. Ok, back to useless but annoying builds...

LD Fury/Zenit is Magical on Carrier map against Titans Near the Middle Beacon guessing a Behemoth is "Outta Sight" on that map.
