I prefer when my bot drops and I have a few seconds to see where I have spawned and form a strategy. I also like to check out what my teammates are running.
But ...
Most of the time now I get an ultra long view of my team or the red team. As my countdown is still going they start to move. By the time I actually drop quite a few seconds have passed and my teammates are already halfway to capping nearby beacons. I then have to try and catch up with everyone.
Also I get a lot of games where only 1 or 2 other players drop and it takes awhile for the rest of the team to appear. Maybe they're going through the same delay?
Am I the only one who finds this super annoying?

Naw, been 「female dog」ing about it for a while. Especially bites with bacon tasks.

Back in late 2017 it wasn't affecting me , but it started showing itself more and more with each update. If apple doesn't make you switch devices because they stop updating the IOS on it, then war robots will do it

Money is tight for me now so I'm hoping for a pre or post holiday sale. OTOH, what guarantee do I have that my new tablet won't be overwhelmed by the time we get to update 6.0 or whatever? Each update has new bots and weapons with new effects.

Generally this moronic bug doesn't matter as long as you aren't doing beacon tasks. Only replace your tablet if the game itself is harder to paly due to excess lag. If you can run at a stable 24-60 fps you dont need a replacement. SInce the game is not getting the same amount of new "content" per month as it used to in 2018, 6.0 should be fine.

I think my tablet is from 2016. Might be older. My problem is all too many matches quit while I'm still in my first or second bot. Sometimes I get to play three or four bots and I do ok. Meanwhile, Skirmish runs fine. Go figure.
