Can someone explain to me, why Leech's ability isn't interrupted when a bot activates stealth or purple shield? Where's the logic behind that? From what I remember, every lock would break once the target activates stealth and purple shield does block all damage variants. So. Is Leech broken, maybe even deliberately by design, to increase sales?
And, another Leech question. Why does the ability work through buildings/environment? Where's the logic behind that? I mean, c'mon. Imagine in the past, the Patton Quad Gekko could shoot its lasers through buildings. How ridiculous would that have been? Leech, a bot that you can't shoot or you hurt yourself and that you can't evade using cover? Is this for real? One video I saw was especially entertaining: Double teaming Leeches leeching at one single opponent. I wonder what a whole squad of Leeches will do
To everyone here on the forum: It's almost friday, so have a good weekend and don't let War Robots anger you. It's just a game.

The simple answer to all these questions: Pix wants everyone to dig into their pockets and buy a Leech - Hell, make a whole hangar of the ugly little turtles.

As bravex mentions, the simple answer is a question Pix must ask...what can we infest the game with that whales will, yet again, do a complete hangar(s) makeover?
If it’s not god awful over the top OP nightmare, would YOU re-do your hangar?
Leech is a bit special, though, as Pix nailed the OPness with a solo bot this time. Most of the tears did not fall about Ares being a disease until players figured out how to use them during an orgy.
Leech needs no one, and is quite nasty. Yes, if your in position, and leveled way up, and alive, and it’s not In PS or max Last Stand then it is vulnerable......
Enjoy your break! The Legendary Pilot for Leech is really scary special, lol!

I think it is dumb to have any ability affects go through hard cover. Gonna pretend to have some lore/backstory crap and have that unrealistic garbage in the game? Gimmeabreak

Man you have been here for a long time, i thought by now we would have established there is no such thing as logic in the pixonic universe.

Man you have been here for a long time, i thought by now we would have established there is no such thing as logic in the pixonic universe. The only lore is the management sitting around sorting out how to screw over the paying base. I used to mock these “conversations” in annotated panels, back when I had free time. Stan to Phil “we need more money, make mail.ru stop the cry” Phil to Stan “no worry, make Leech, and make mail.ru swim in money, ha ha”

The leech damage isn't really the problem. The problem is the 90% DR on top of 4 medium weapons. It's as if a toddler dreamed up the design.
Also, physical shields take leech damage. Tyr is becoming immensely popular and Bulgasari is back. Even Lancelot is doing well.

Leech is the bot that made me finally decide to buy a TV and a PS4 last month. Before the stupid thing was even released, I knew I wanted nothing to do with it.
I deleted War Robots from my phone, and now waste time playing a game called Titanfall 2. I am much less frustrated now.

This is how linearblade came up with his Leech killer...Rajin shield could take the damage while tethered, 2x Vipers with DOT kills Leech.....be awesome if sometime way back I had gotten a Rajin, lol

Sure, the Raijin isn't fast, but does have a huge shield durability pool. That could be useful when you're defending a beacon one-on-one against a Leech. Is there any other bot that can do that? The the fact that Leech damage hits shields first is very interesting; maybe I should bring back the Bulgasari into my current hangar. It probably isn't going to win any one-on-one battles against a Leech, but might last long enough for help to arrive.

If the leech has 4 Storms, which is a top build, there's a 0% chance a Raijin beats it 1v1. I'd be willing to put money down on that. Are you sure about Leech ability hitting Physical Shields? If that's true it's the first I ever heard of it, I'm inclined to not believe it... but I've been wrong before.

To clarify, physical shields.....

I personally haven't tested it, and only heard about it on this thread. Let's see if linearblade can confirm/deny whether physical shields take leech damage.

linearblade posted about doing this, and I have read often shields take the repulse first.....since linear is a Rajin expert, I believe him....perhaps he will chime in. To clarify, physical shields..... It doesn’t. Tested and about to post screenshots. @greenbanana They do not stop repulse. However damage reduction does. And raijin with defense experts (or whatever it’s called) , in bastion have 17% damage reduction. This is a big deal when combined with physical shield expert, because the leech is not able to harm you with it’s weapons while you are harming it. So for vipers it’s like this: 185250 physical , 99000 corrosion You take 185250 x .35 = 64,837.5 x (1-17%) = 53815 net damage(per viper) You’ve dealt 18525+ 99000 = 117,525 damage per viper Over 12 seconds , with me have healed around 18k of it Thus, you are meating out a lot more than your getting in. And also note, you fire for 12 seconds, viper lasts for 10 max And usually they have last scam. So your firing for 5 tops, shooting his friend, then moving back to him. Also in bastion, your damage is 1.3, so leeches don’t stand up against you for long. In organized spawn raids, your toast. But in normal pub games or organized clan games, leech are checked very effectively especially with a Greek providing defense. And I’ve done this agsinst many top clans on Asian Server.
