...because I am...constantly defeated. I have felt for some time that this matchmaking has been really been out to get me. Now this is not the first time I have felt this; we all have our ups and downs. My downs had usually been followed by the ups--streaks of luck and good performance. But for the last several weeks, nay I say, months, I have not had a win % above 42%. I now go into battles expecting defeat, and the story is the same every single time: right about the 3 minute mark, my team starts botting-out. So, even though we might have the beacon advantage, the game turns into a 5v2. I also get set opposite a top-tier clan raid, which is not terribly uncommon, except I will land opposite them 2 or 3 matches IN A ROW. I loath quitters, but I have had to turn into one when I see, for a consecutive time, that I am facing the spawn raid that I just lost to; I need to get off their rotation. Lastly, and probably most frustratingly, I am on a team where we are losing the whole match, start turning the tables when they start botting-out & hold a 4 beacon advantage, only to get cut off by time. I understand that bad luck comes and goes and is usually balanced by streaks of things going your way. But I am starting to feel like Pix really is out to frustrate me into buying. I am not purely F2P, but I spend on Op gold pass, premium once, and the occasional $.99 gold deal. But I also do not play the current meta, and perhaps Pix thinks I need to; so they try to frustrate me into buying the latest and greatest. I am not generally a conspiracy theorist, but my victory %, right now, is at 28%, and I have bottomed out at 18%....18%!! I've never seen a % that low! Tankers are usually sitting at 25%!! I know because I still have a screenshot of one I reported. He was running 5 level 1 cossacks and had a victory % of 28! And I'm not running a meager hanger or putting out 「dookie」ty numbers: >700k ave damage, 3.5 bots destroyed with brawler bots and 1 mid-range support. In fact, I managed to reach over 6200 trophies last season cuz I was almost always top 1 or 2 each battle. This season, I'm currently sitting over 5500. I get no follow up support when I cap center beacon to open. And I am almost always teamed up with people who have ZERO concept of working together. They end up pushing me out of my cover or running out of my healing range. In fact, it was this type of thing that caused me to take a break from the game about a year ago.
Pix, I am more likely to put the game down than I am to spend more money. Fix matchmaking, or people WILL start leaving.

Interesting. 18% is very low indeed. The MM-er could be out to get you (hard to know) but it could be your punishment for reporting a tanker. Filling out forms in an attempt to clean up a P2W game :-) Hook line and sinker.
It could also be just a string of unfavorable outcomes without any input from the app (like flipping 10 heads in raw when you want tails).
I’d reinstall in any case.
PS: I suspect Pix made some changes a few weeks ago to minimise tanking in FFA (besides the time drop stuff). It seems to be effective hence tankers are going into the other modes. But that also means Pix can identify who the tankers are. Food for thought.

Dude...been there...am there...I haven't been above 48% win rate in over a month. But I keep moving up. Being matched up with complete idiots sometimes. What really hurts tho is when you start losing league points or lower level players are outperforming me. It usually means that my strategies are getting stale and it's time to change things up with a different rotation of bots and/or weapons. Would recommend changing something in your lineup...start with a tank instead of a beacon runner or something like that. It's amazing how that will change your perspective...just sayin.

The game punishes you by advancing you too quickly when you play a lot. I tried on two different platforms and when I'd play less and drop in champion leagues the MM would treat me more kindly. Of course , the problem is if you play less you cannot earn resources and you'll fall behind. Pick your poison.

hangar pic would help. it’s just the beat down. at one point last season I had >60% wins. then I went down to 23%. had over a million damage average the whole time so whatever ya know. my all time low was 16%. usually if I’m at 40% it stays stable. just try to blow stuff up and move on. wait before I drop to see if I’m hitting an S league clan saves some frustration.

Here is what I got going on now right now: My 2nd harger is serving as my bench. I don't use it in battle right now, I'm just rotating them into my 1st hanger (including swapping out modules as needed) until I feel like I have a better lineup. Also trying to get a feel for my new bots(i.e. Ao Jun & Ares). In addition, I have a lvl 9/10 Dragoon Fury that is sitting in storage getting moth-balled. I drag her out every now and again to mix things up. My workshop is currently working up a Fenrir, which will be done in about 2 weeks. Not sure how to handle that yet. It usually means that my strategies are getting stale and it's time to change things up with a different rotation of bots and/or weapons. Would recommend changing something in your lineup...start with a tank instead of a beacon runner or something like that. It's amazing how that will change your perspective...just sayin. Yeah, I'm trying it. I used to start with the Raven all of the time and double jump, but then I would get left out to dry, and she doesn't fair well against a dash bot or Ao Jun. Then I started going with the Strider cuz my team always sucked at going for center. Lately, I've started in the Tyr thinking that teamates would be more interested in sticking close by, and I could followup support any of my team that dashes for center. That has had mixed results. I have started in the Mercury, Inky, Ao Jun, Nemesis; not a lot of changes in result. The only one I don't start in is the Spectre; I am against opening in a mid-long range support as a matter of principal. How much do you play every day? The game punishes you by advancing you too quickly when you play a lot. I tried on two different platforms and when I'd play less and drop in champion leagues the MM would treat me more kindly. Of course , the problem is if you play less you cannot earn resources and you'll fall behind. Pick your poison. So, you got me looking at my dumb Gamecenter stats, and now I'm depressed...more time than I'm willing to admit. Your advice makes sense; I blew threw Expert and Master leagues with nearly an 80% victory rate. Before honor-point ranking, I was bouncing around right at 5000. Every time I got promoted to Champs, MM would kick my 「bum-bum」 back down to Master where I had no problems with complete pwnage of the competition. Now, I know how to work the honor system to my advantage, and Pix can't seem to knock me off despite their best efforts.

You gotta consolidate your best gear into one hangar. That’s honestly pretty good gear I think you could push 900k and up average. For sure put the sparks on the Tyr and then get guidance operator. I run that with Quantum Radar. gusts or halos on the strider with a matching heavy like an exodus or glory would be good for an opening center banger. also, strider needs AC. Id use that as my one drop every game. Ares and merc are two of your strongest bots so they should be in your main. I’ll preface this by saying I still use a plasma quizzy becuz I like to but your strongest lineup would be avenjun, taser tyr, halo or shredder/avenger merc, shotty strider, pulsar or corona ares. If u stick with pulsar spec I’d do halo/corona tyr or ares instead of the scourges.

I had a match today where I (M1) was the whale, Experts and Diamond, 「fluffernutter」ing Diamond! I hammered them. T-Falcon and Pursuer wiped the floor. It didn't feel good when I checked the Pilots. MM isn't right, Red opposition highest was a M3. Then as a reward I was pummeled to the ground. Mid Level Champions League'ers. No rhyme, no reason. Just ridiculous ?

I went with your suggested bots with one exception, I dusted of the pursuer and put him in place of the strider. My Gusts were still under-leveled last time i played it, so I am giving it another try. I shelved Inky, much to my chagrin; he had been my work-horse longer than I can remember. I loaded out the Tyr with a setup that Manny called the "best setup for Ares." I figured, if it was good for Ares, it should still be good for Tyr. I threw the energy beams on the Ares since, in this hanger, I am counting on my Ares to be the mid-range bot. I didn't grab a screenshot, but my first time out, I grabbed over 1.1m damage and first place on my team. I still lost...naturally.

Bringing in new BOTS is always a challenge for me. I got an Ares a couple of months ago and started putting it in my lineup at Lvl 8 or so, and really had a hard time with its survival and getting decent damage. Finding the right situation and kind of a standard drop point took me a bit of time. It's now Lvl 10 and the shredders and pulsar is at 10-11 and it is really shining but I generally bring it in towards the end. Seems to have helped a bit. I'm concerned about the shield breaker and whether I should take the Ares to lvl 11. I'm afraid that the module may kill off the bot altogether so I'm going to focus on just the weapons for the time being. In Champions League, lvl 12 is almost a must if you want to be consistently competitive.

I abstained going for the Ares specifically because of the upcoming changes, but then I landed it in the Superchest last month. I played a bit with the Nemesis since I've had it longer and was thinking that's were I should focus more. I'll be getting the legend pilot soon, and if the test server changes go live, it might look like a better option. My silver stores are suffering lately, even with operations. That's why I am kind of trying to focus on cheaper stuff. I decided I need stop being so ADD with equipment and focus on something. But, I'm being limited by my silver accumulation.

This was a week ago.... Today, back up to 54%, lol My all time low is 22%....not much higher than yours. It means absolutely NOTHING.....MM will always keep us around 50%, and every nasty losing streak I’ve had is followed by my time clubbing and being a War Robots god! Not sure why your feeling defeated, however if a game affects your mood like this, it may be break time. Although I have emotions while playing, a moment after, it’s all good and RL is all good.......no stupid video game will change that!

I've been at 16%. It is a poopy rollercoaster ride. If you drink, pour something good & play some bots for fun. Screw their #'s. You set the parameters for your fun. If you let anyone else do it for you disappointment is inevitable. See you on the battlefield.

The things I could do with ur hanger hooooooo boi. Whenever u get down though take some knowledge from utubers like adrian and predator, they run just about any build u can imagine and run it well, skill above everything. End of the day it's not the tools, it's the user. You gotta get good generic as it is. And as always focus on your weapons... this never changes.
