ѻﻭɼﻉ Ⓑⓞⓑ Ⓓⓨⓛⓐⓝ I still haven’t made the commitment to leveling up enough to brawl. It’s a cornerstone of my Fun hanger, and it is working well as my only 600m bot. Should I go for Destroyer or keep Ad Guard? Seems like Destroyer is the way to go, but with the others Ad skills, I thought maybe keep it. I like the bot enough that I’ll probably hit the next pilot upgrade, but stop there. thx

There’s tons of opportunities to use glance 2-3 times in a row to finish a tough opponent off.

This lead to me stopping upgrades and moving it to my large map hangar with Dragoon Marquess. While that is definitely still a go for dealing with Ao Ming on big maps, last night I was in the mood to brawl with it, I was in the mood to run Rayker, so threw on Glory, Shredders, anti control, last stand, and advance repair unit = beast. Mainly I want to say that I crossed an experiential threshold last night with Rayker. I was determined to see if I could get over the leg issue in the brawl zone, and it paid off. There came a point when everything suddenly clicked with how to run it when close to allies, how to move more efficiently by being more careful about routes of travel. After that, the Rayker did so well I got excited again to keep upgrading and play it more often. There is also an interesting thing about Glance awareness, taking advantage of the range to quickly suppress several enemies in the distance who are attacking a teammate. There was one instance where in the middle of a brawl, I noticed my buddy off in the distance fighting 3 guys alone, so I turned and precision struck all 3 of them with Glance, and my buddy destroyed all three enemies!!

Rest In Peace little guy. Your little spider legs can get in those places no more. You move like an old man with a walker going up an incline. Pix decided your number was up. What was once fun, now not so much.

Destroyer and Suppressor are super important for Rayker, but for different reasons. Destroyer works so well because of the frequency and accuracy of Glance. Since you are firing it so often and it hits so well, even from distance, it makes a big difference. Suppressor is important for survivability. Cutting a Storm or Corona Leech damage output to 1/4 will not prevent you from dying, but cutting it to 1/8 output can save you or a friend who's getting pummeled. Same against an Ao Jun. Both are instrumental to my Rayker.

But if it remains clumsy and completely non-climbing, probably not.

Not being able to climp up simple ramps though, it my only real concern. That's unacceptable. It's telling though, that I still haven't/won't take it out of my hanger though. Also, I've switched from the backup magnums to sparks. Sparks actually complement the Avenger surprisingly well and they're only at mk1 lvl11. Who knew?

A lot of the extreme climbing was pretty gimmicky; fun, but not really effective in fast paced combat. It is def overly clumsy now and I hope it gets fixed in the next release.

Just added the jump module to the Rayker. Great fun. Be better if they could fix the climbing bug, and have a that jump. Snagged a triple kill on my first outing on Powerplant, not sure of the actual distance of the jump, it looked reasonable though. Anyone else tried it.
Rayker 1.9 Zeus 2.12 Shredders 1.10
Jump to it....
Legendary pilot too would be great.

I love spider bots but i have yet to try this one . To be honest the 3 modules only are kinda keeping me away .
Rayker seems like a poor mans invader to me .

Ya know, I'd actually like to try the Rayker again with jump module and Nucleon/Quarker. It's probably not going to be the utility knife bot I remember it being, but I bet it would hurt something fierce. Still though, when I see them in-game, I usually move to take them out super fast before they realize I know what's coming.

It hits hard in bursts at range when you’re dancing, and when you’re brawling with someone you’ve hit with glance it drills a hole right through the middle. I prefer to match it with shredders for the LD/suppression double whammy. Also now that the nucleon has been buffed you can hurt Ao Mings that are engaging friendly titans while glance keeps their firepower down.

I won an Avalanche the other day . I think it would be perfect to fit onto a Rayker . Also no clue what to build after Ravana unless some gambling chest gives me 3000 parts of some odd bot . I will build a Rayker I suppose ?
I recall tuber Manni trying that random bots mode and having 2 invaders , 2 raykers and something else .I remember him saying the 2 raykers were the main damage machines . I always wondered why he thought they would kick butt more than the 2 invaders.
